A Minnesota sports radio personality is apologizing after he called into question the intentions of ICE protestors in Minneapolis. Paul Allen, the voice of the Minnesota Vikings football team, issued a statement on Monday, Jan. 26 following his on-air comments Friday in which he discussed the inclement weather set to hit the area, and wondered how it would affect the city’s ongoing ICE protests. "I made a comment on Friday about protesters and the weather that was insensitive and poorly timed, and I'm sorry," Allen, 60, said in a prepared statement. "It was a misguided attempt at humor and while

WASHINGTON - New orders for key U.S.-manufactured capital goods increased more than expected in November, indicating business spending on equipment maintained a steady growth pace in the fourth quarter.
The fifth straight monthly rise in the so-called core capital goods orders, reported by the Commerce Department on Monday, followed on the heels of data last week showing strong consumer spending in October and November, and reinforced economists' expectations the economy extended its robust performance in the last three months of 2025. The strength in business investment in equipment and the overall economy has occurred despite President Donald Trump's sweeping import tariffs, which have depressed a large segment of manufacturing. A senior figure at the very top of China’s military has been abruptly removed amid allegations he passed highly sensitive nuclear information to the United States.
Zhang Youxia, long regarded as the operational leader of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), was dismissed on Saturday for a “serious violation of discipline.”
According to The Wall Street Journal, the 75-year-old general is accused of sharing classified details relating to China’s nuclear weapons programme with Washington.
The allegations were reportedly laid out during a closed-door briefing attended by senior PLA officers.

Erin Strotman, 27, worked in the neonatal intensive care unit at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, where from 2022 through 2024, she allegedly inflicted harm on nine children, adding up to 20 charges.
Judge Richard Wallerstein Jr. accepted the plea deal, which includes a maximum sentence of three years in prison despite such heinous crimes.

While the mainstream media breathlessly comes to the defense of those trying to thwart efforts to protect American citizens from violent illegals, they remain largely silent on the victims of illegal crime.
Last week, the legacy media and liberal members of Congress made false claims about a viral case in Minnesota, alleging that ICE targeted a five-year-old child. (Snip) The Statesboro Herald reported that the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) announced the arrest of Kenneth Moreno Guzman, 26, on January 15 for allegedly invading a family’s home on January 12th and raping an 11-year-old girl and holding her and her 10-year-old sister at knifepoint.

In the aftermath of Saturday's shooting in Minneapolis that left anti-ICE insurgent Alex Pretti dead, an obviously AI-generated photo purporting to clearly show Pretti being executed by Border Patrol agents is making the rounds on social media. That alone isn't surprising; it happens any time there's a major event. What's surprising is the identity of one of the people sharing it as if it's real and using it for anti-government propaganda purposes.

Top Border Patrol official Gregory Bovino and some of his agents are expected to leave Minneapolis on Tuesday and return to their respective sectors, according to three sources familiar the discussions, sidelining a key player in the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
The move comes after President Donald Trump announced he was dispatching White House border czar Tom Homan to Minneapolis in the wake of Saturday’s fatal shooting of a US citizen. The White House has said Homan is expected to manage Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in the city. One official said it was a “mutual decision” to have Bovino depart. In what appears to be a significant move, meant to send a message to the city of Minneapolis that the Trump administration isn't about to back down from clearing that city of illegal aliens, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has approved the use of a military base near the Minneapolis airport as a housing, vehicle storage and staging area for ICE and Border Patrol operations. That message? "We are not going away." An email, supposedly from Customs and Border Protection, acquired by the San Francisco Chronicle, has the details.

The private jet that crashed during takeoff from Bangor International Airport in Maine on Sunday evening is registered to prominent anti-ICE lawyers who were spending tens of millions of dollars to elect Democrats in the upcoming Texas primaries.
The crash resulted in seven fatalities and one serious injury.
The jet was registered to Arnold & Itkin Trial Lawyers, known for its aggressive litigation and leftist political activism, including substantial financial support for Democrat causes, particularly those opposing strict immigration enforcement and Republican policies in Texas.
The victims’ names have not been released at this time, but early reports indicate that people associated with the firm were on board.

As we all know, the only thing "progressive" about the Left over the last ten years has been the progression of their psychological affliction known as "Trump Derangement Syndrome."
Think about it: TDS during President Donald Trump's first term was already festering, but the rhetoric with its accompanying violence was arguably not quite as incendiary as it is today.
In a Sunday example, a librarian — yes, a librarian — was arrested after allegedly posting online videos trying to recruit assassins to kill the president. Is anyone surprised? Other than the fact that this librarian is a lunatic, perhaps.

The situation in Minnesota is out of control, and finally, happy hands lunatic Tim Walz has chosen reason, deciding to cooperate with Trump officials in the wake of the recent shooting of Alex Pretti by Border Patrol agents in Minneapolis last Saturday. It sparked another round of outrage from the Left, who claim, without evidence, that he was executed. Meanwhile, some conservatives claimed wrongly that he was about to commit mass slaughter before he was shot—Pretti was legally carrying a firearm at the protest. It’s created a total mess on messaging, and now Trump is stepping in to clean up the mess, appointing Tom Homan

It's mind-boggling to think that Tim Walz was almost the Vice President of the United States, just a heartbeat away from the Presidency. His tenure in Minnesota has been such an unmitigated disaster that he was forced to drop out of the race over the ongoing fraud scandal (and if that hadn't done it, his handling of the ICE riots in Minneapolis probably would have).
He's shown he's not a leader, and he places the blame on everyone and everything but himself and his party's policies. (Snip) Walz crossed a line, and the U.S. Holocaust Museum has called him out.

will spare you a discussion of the hows and whys of my discovery of it, but a little more than a decade ago, I discovered one of the most interesting and informative little books I have ever read. As a student of American politics and public policy and an analyst specializing in the intersection of politics and markets, it’s a book I’d never expected to read, much less to find as fascinating and edifying as I did. As (mostly bad) luck would have it, however, it’s also a tome that explains a great deal about what is going on in our country right now and offers practical advice—to both sides—

These training materials and the setup of this online system indicate that someone with some money is behind all this. From the George Floyd riots to anti-ICE insurrections, what is happening in Minnesota? Why are leftist hordes concentrating their efforts to attack and destroy ICE in this state, as opposed to California or New York?
Minnesota has always been an odd, progressive political animal, even a little bit loony (the Common Loon is the state bird, by the way). Leftist politics has been at home there longer than most realize.
At the outset, Minnesota welcomed a large swath of Scandinavian and German immigrants, and they brought socialist ideas with them. In fact, most of those settlers were radicals seeking to live out their views, having faced persecution in their home countries.

The news that JD Vance is having a fourth child, this time while vice president, is not only joyous for his family but a wonderful example of potency for the rest of America. We just hit a new low of 1.61 kids per woman, and the replacement rate is 2.1 kids per woman. That’s bad – the only reason our population is growing is because of the influx of aliens. But the good news is that patriotic, normal Americans like the Vances know how to reproduce, and the consensus on the right is growing that we need to get collectively biz-zay, if you know what I’m saying.

Alex Pretti did something foolish and illegal at the protest in Minneapolis. He interfered with law enforcement agents. There will be debates for days if not years about whether his illegal interference with the cops, the discovery of his gun, and his violent resistance justified them shooting him.

Amid continuing violent insurrection in Minneapolis, where local police and state authorities are siding with anti-ICE rioters, Donald Trump is sending his border czar to oversee operations personally.
Border Patrol shot an armed and violent protestor, Alex Pretti, as he feloniously clashed with them during an operation to arrest a criminal illegal alien. Since then, the property destruction and assaults on federal immigration officers escalated, while Minnesota and Minneapolis authorities refused to do anything to enforce the rule of law. Gov. Tim Walz deployed the National Guard but apparently mainly to hand out goodies to violent protesters. So Donald Trump is taking action.

It will bring the work of existing agencies such as the National Crime Agency (NCA) and regional organised crime units under the same organisation, buying new technology such as facial recognition on behalf of all forces.

Conservative: Beijing Wins in TikTok Deal
The new TikTok deal allows China’s ByteDance to keep 19.9% of the company, gripes National Review’s Jim Geraghty, a “complete violation of the law” that aimed to force a total sale.
This is “selling out American national security interests,” since it still lets Beijing use the app “to spread anti-American propaganda and suppress criticism of the regime in Beijing.”
Any “deal that merely has the U.S. ‘license’ the algorithm doesn’t address the heart of the problem,” as “licensing is not ownership and monitoring is not control.”
This deal “may sound like a compromise, but it is in fact a capitulation.”

Here’s a challenge. Ask your neighbor, ask your best friend, ask the guy standing next to you at the deli counter, ask as many relatives as possible, ask any real estate agent in the world this question: What is the number-one thing all people in the world do when they decide to move into an apartment or condo or co-op or house?
Even before they buy appliances or furniture or food for their refrigerator or outdoor plants or a new mailbox. Even before they hire an inspector to check out if everything in their new digs is in good order.

Anti-ICE protesters violently swarmed a Minneapolis hotel where they believed federal officers were staying, hurling items at people inside, smashing its windows, and graffitiing “F–K ICE” across the building’s facade Sunday.
The large mob descended on the Home2 Suites by Hilton Hotel late Sunday night, as tensions gripped the Twin Cities just one day after Border Patrol agents shot and killed protester Alex Pretti, 37, in Minneapolis. An Ohio man who allegedly threatened to kill Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had a cache of firearms and body armor in his home at the time of his arrest, federal authorities said.
Justin Mesael Novoa, a 21-year-old of Columbus, was charged with “making threatening interstate communications, including threats to assault or murder a federal law enforcement officer,” the Department of Justice announced on Thursday.
A press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Ohio, cites charging documents that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) received information in December 2025 regarding threats to ICE

Eighty-eight-year-old Washington, DC, Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D) ended her reelection campaign early Sunday amid calls for her retirement.
Norton filed a termination report with the Federal Election Commission, the Hill reported, noting she had served in the role for the past 35 years.
“Former senior aide of the D.C. Democrat, Trent Holbrook, launched a bid for her seat earlier this month, while Robert White, a member of the Council of the District of Columbia, announced his intention to run for the District’s sole nonvoting seat in September,” the article read.
Along with her age, the elderly delegate has been facing criticism regarding her health and mental acuity, according to the Washington Examiner.

It was hardly necessary to read the headlines Sunday morning to know that the corporate media, like Minnesota’s irresponsible governor Tim Walz, would effectively accuse federal immigration officers of brutally executing Alex Pretti. For example, a New York Times “analysis” fails to mention that Pretti was an anti-ICE activist who had interfered with the apprehension of a criminal suspect, and was violently resisting arrest when the officers realized he was armed. The Times falsely claims, “An agent had already removed Mr. Pretti’s gun when two other agents opened fire, shooting him in the back as he lay on the ground.”

The left is making a hero and a martyr of Alex Pretti, which makes perfect sense if you ignore nearly all the facts. Here is what we know so far:
* Pretti was no innocent bystander or peaceful protester. He was a member of the signal “ICE watch group” that was formed to interfere with federal law enforcement. Matt Margolis has much more about the well-organized, and no doubt well-financed, criminal group of which Pretti was a member.
* Pretti came to an area where federal officers were carrying out an enforcement action with the intent of trying to disrupt them. He brought with him a luxury version

It’s counterintuitive, and the opposite would be far worse. But we’re still duty-bound to prepare for the electoral fallout.
Because, in all probability, it’s coming with a vengeance in 2026.
I don’t want to sound unappreciative, because I’m delighted with the results. Ask yourself: Would you rather solve illegal immigration, halt border crossings, stop violent crime, and deal with the political consequences — or live in a country with nonexistent borders and a runaway crime rate?
When we consider the alternative, what choice did we have?

The US Air Force said Sunday it was about to begin a multi-day readiness exercise across the Middle East “to demonstrate the ability to deploy, disperse, and sustain combat airpower” in the region, amid heightened tensions with Iran.
“This exercise reinforces peace through strength by fielding a credible, combat-ready, and responsible presence designed to deter aggression, reduce the risk of miscalculation and assure partners,” a statement released by US Air Forces Central (AFCENT) said.
