The city of Los Angeles has quietly steered $1.4 million in taxpayer funds to a “social justice” group that wants to abolish the LAPD, cancel the 2028 Olympics, halt rent and mortgage payments — and has even sued the city.
Strategic Actions for a Just Economy (SAJE) is not just an activist group protesting on the steps of City Hall, it’s a paid contractor for the city of LA. The group has been hired to perform tenant outreach, education and housing-related mapping work. SAJE has received at least $1.43 million since 2020, primarily through contracts with the Los Angeles Housing Department, which is under city control, and additional grants from

We're learning a lot more about the people who were in the anti-ICE Signal chat groups that independent journalist Cam Higby infiltrated in Minnesota, the organization of the group, its donors, and the significance of the address at which Alex Pretti was obstructing federal officers. There's far too much information to detail completely in this piece, but even just from an overview, it's clear that there is an organized insurrection underway, led by several elected officials in Minnesota and aided by alleged journalists. Let's hit the highlights:

The groups are highly sophisticated. They're set up geographically; within the City of Minneapolis, they're generally divided by

A candidate for the Illinois Statehouse worries there could be a dark side to the 725% increase in Medicaid payments for children without Social Security numbers.
After more than a year of digging, Statehouse candidate Bailey Templeton’s most public records collection shows 1,085 Illinois children under 18 without SSNs had Medicaid bills of $66 million in 2025. That’s up 725% from $8 million for 450 children in 2021.
“It's roughly $40 million spent on inpatient treatment, that's a lot of time for children to be in hospitals,” Templeton told The Center Square Friday. The data only generates more questions for Templeton.
“It raises questions about what would be called medical trafficking,

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison previously argued that Americans have no Second Amendment right to carry firearms at political protests.
Ellison joined 16 other attorneys general from Democrat-led states in an amicus brief filed with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in January 2024, according to court records. The coalition argued states can ban firearms at political rallies and protests because such events attract violence.
The group also contended that guns at demonstrations could intimidate people and discourage them from speaking freely. Ellison’s legal stance faced scrutiny Saturday when Border Patrol agents fatally shot Alex Pretti

A new National Police Service (NPS) will free up local forces to tackle everyday crime by taking over responsibility for counter-terror, fraud and organised crime investigations, the home secretary has said.
Shabana Mahmood told the BBC the NPS, which she has dubbed a "British FBI", was "absolutely not" about saving money but about designing a new policing model for England and Wales.
It will bring the work of existing agencies such as the National Crime Agency (NCA) and regional organised crime units under the same organisation, buying new technology such as facial recognition on behalf of all forces.

Republican Texas Rep. Wesley Hunt took part in embedding divisive racial and gender ideology into a Texas health center, despite rallying against diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies during his time in office.
Hunt served on the board of Harris Center for Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities from January 2019 to March 2021, during which time he took part in multiple votes to approve contracts and funding for pro-DEI and gender ideology groups, as well as the hiring of a “queer, disabled Latin x” individual. A jail diversion program Hunt helped oversee at the center also partnered with a Soros-backed prosecutor to let accused criminals walk away with minimal

Virginia Democrats in the state’s House of Delegates introduced a resolution on Tuesday that would establish a task force to investigate the Virginia Military Institute and determine if the historic military college should continue to receive funding. The move is the latest of Virginia Democrats’ efforts to reinvigorate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policy in the state after much of the DEI mandates and policies were revoked after President Donald Trump was elected in 2024. "This takes away from VMI, takes away from its mission," Virginia Republican Congressman Rob Wittman told Fox News Digital. "I think that it's harmful to the Commonwealth of Virginia, harmful to VMI as an institution,

Austin, we have a problem.
Even as many in Texas are pushing back against the rising presence of Islamic Supremacist organizations and hate groups trying to spread their hateful views and calls for the conquest and mass murder of non-Muslims, Austin is welcoming them in.
Fresh off declaring January to be ‘Muslim Heritage Month’, the city of Austin, Texas also decided to declare Jan 22nd, “CAIR-Austin” day after the local chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood organization (a violent Islamist movement originally funded by Nazi Germany) whose national organization celebrated the Hamas massacres of Oct 7 and was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas funding trial.

Federal officials say a Minneapolis kennel employee targeted a CBP detection dog with an anti‑ICE message, marking a new escalation in the city’s hostility toward immigration enforcement.
Federal sources report that the message was discovered during a routine welfare check on the K‑9, which was temporarily housed at the facility while supporting federal enforcement operations in the region. Officials say the act wasn’t an accident or a joke, but a deliberate expression of the growing anti‑ICE sentiment that has increasingly spilled over into harassment of personnel, equipment, and now even the animals assigned to protect them.

This is some radical swag.
A Muslim nonprofit that’s raked in over $260,000 in taxpayer dough and has ties to Mayor Zohran Mamdani hosted a pop-up fundraiser featuring a twisted array of trinkets promoting Hamas and other US-designated terror groups.
During the Muslim American Society’s Jan. 18 support-Sudan event at its Brooklyn youth center, vendors peddled key chains, stickers, pins and other tchotchkes in support of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Other items at the event, called Thrift4Sudan, featured reverential images of late terrorist leaders Hassan Nasrallah of Hezbollah and Yahya Sinwar of Hamas, and a masked figure resembling

The mass, coordinated anti-ICE protests and walk-outs across the country on Friday—many of them coordinated by organized labor—are the latest sign that unions and left-wing activist groups view resistance to ICE and immigration enforcement as their best opportunity in years to rekindle the rage and rioting that marked the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020.
That was the year when, in the name of George Floyd, Black Lives Matter rioters torched a Minneapolis police precinct, smashed in storefronts in Los Angeles, and launched fireworks inside a Seattle Starbucks in addition to violent and sometimes deadly unrest in other large cities such as Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Portland. Roughly five years later,
