The Worm-Filled Vatican Synodal Church

The Catholic Church has had the great misfortune of having elected two modern popes who identify with Latin America. Francis, who was Italian, identified as Argentinean and embraced Latin American liberation theology, a Marxist doctrine posing as concern for the poor and the “oppressed” while circumventing the Church’s primary mission concerning the salvation of souls.

As I always said "Is the pope a Communist?"......and the joke was that YES, the pope WAS a Communist, and the new one isn't much different. Sad times in The Church.

I see a lot less people at Mass and almost no children. The Catholic Schools are closing for lack of enrollment. When the nuns stopped teaching the death of the schools was in evitable. T nuns dropped the habits and now they appear like a bunch of lesbians. The Priests have lost the confidence of the parisioners and we cannot get enough priests. My parish shares a priest with another parish. he says the Mass and disappears. He is never or seldom at the Church. The Church secretary appears to be running the place.

A Utah police department's use of artificial intelligence led to a police report stating -- falsely -- that an officer had been transformed into a frog. The Heber City Police Department started using a pair of AI programs, Draft One and Code Four, to automatically generate police reports from body camera footage in December.

The geniuses who are planning New York’s energy future think that they can make intermittent wind and solar generators work to power the electrical grid by the simple device of providing some battery storage. The idea is that when there is abundant wind and sun, they can store up the power for use during those calm and dark periods in the winter. How much battery storage will that take? It’s a simple arithmetic calculation, but none of our supposed experts have taken the trouble to crunch the numbers.

Former hostage Romi Gonen shared that she was sexually assaulted by four different men on separate occasions during her 471 days as a hostage in Gaza, speaking in an interview that aired on Thursday. The sit-down on Channel 12’s “Uvda” program detailed her harrowing ordeal, beginning with her abduction from the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023, when she was 23 years old. Gonen, now 25, detailed being taken into the Strip, being moved between several private houses, and then being taken underground several weeks into the war.

Former Mesa County, Colorado Election Clerk Tina Peters broke no state or federal laws by backing up her Election Management Server (EMS) hard drive, having it analyzed, and even publishing the results.  If she had, the federal and Colorado state governments would have legally come down on her for doing so, especially during the Biden administration. In other words, not one state or federal charge resulted from Tina’s actions backing up her county’s server.  Because they had NOTHING, Colorado (likely at the behest of the DOJ) had to manufacture imaginary felonies and misdemeanors and prosecute her in the state courts.

The 19-year-old Israeli hostage, Noa Marciano, was murdered by a doctor in Gaza’s Shifa hospital, her father Avi Marciano disclosed in a social media post. Noa, who Palestinian terrorists abducted from a kibbutz on October 7, 2023, was taken to Gaza City’s Shifa Hospital after sustaining minor ‘non-life-threatening’ injuries. Weeks after her abduction, and with Israeli troops advancing in the area, a Palestinian doctor “injected air into her vein,” Noa’s father said.

Around twenty-four minutes in, Buckley got to President Franklin Roosevelt. Galbraith, then ninety, turned nostalgic. “Of my generation, there was no figure like Franklin Delano Roosevelt. And I still wake up in the morning and say, ‘Well, Galbraith, you’re still a New Dealer.’ ” Certainly. But do the rest of us have to be?

Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold escalated her standoff with the Trump administration this week, rejecting a request for the state’s full, unredacted voter file. “We will not comply with the Trump Department of Justice’s request for Coloradans’ sensitive voting information. The DOJ can take a hike; it does not have a legal right to the information. Colorado will not help Donald Trump undermine our elections and hurt the American people.” Colorado’s refusal comes as the DOJ expands lawsuits into at least 14 states for denying similar requests.

Every time I hear about the tragedy (the tragedies) suffered by the Indians of North America (whether at Thanksgiving or at any other time), I bring up some variant of the following questions:  Do the calamities also include the theft of the lands of the Apaches? Does the genocide, real or alleged, of the Native Americans also concern the extermination of the Huron tribe (Huronia)? This type of question usually boondoggles the leftist,… The problem, of course, is that the lands of the Apaches were stolen by the Comanches. While the Hurons were wiped out by the Iroquois

On Friday, the GOP-controlled House of Representatives did what many thought was unthinkable. In what can only be described as a stunning act of bravery, these bold Republicans - wait for it - passed a resolution that condemns socialism. The entire charade was like watching Olivia Nuzzi try to dish out marital advice. Consider that many of the same Republicans who enthusiastically voted to condemn socialism have had no problem bankrolling Obamacare, programs like SNAP, and every wallet-sucking entitlement program — all with zero intention of reforming or gutting any of them. It’s as ironic as it is comical.

A bombshell peer-reviewed study out of Germany just dismantled the scientific foundation used to justify lockdowns, social distancing, and vaccine mandates. When researchers compared the ALM’s week-by-week PCR positivity rates with the same labs’ IgG antibody testing data — essentially measuring who truly developed infection-induced immunity — they discovered something staggering: Only about 14% of those who tested PCR-positive during the early pandemic period (2020–mid-2021) actually developed antibodies — meaning most early “cases” were never real infections.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development likely paid out more than $84 million in ineligible assistance to Minnesota during President Joe Biden’s final year in office — including to more than 500 “deceased tenants,” according to officials and documents reviewed by The Post. HUD has been looking into billions of dollars in taxpayer-funded housing aid doled out by the Biden administration — and its most recent review found $84.6 million in potentially erroneous payments in fiscal year 2024. That included up to $496,000 in improper assistance to 509 dead tenants. Approximately $246,000 more was shelled out to 20 people whose Social Security numbers couldn’t be verified, meaning they were likely non-citizens.

President Donald Trump's push to seize Greenland might be the least popular idea in American political history. Is that hyperbole? If so, that's only because reliable and fast public polling is a relatively recent development within our 250-year experiment in self-governance. A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Wednesday found a staggering 4 percent of Americans favor the idea of seizing Greenland with military force. Among Republicans, the idea is actually twice as popular: 8 percent say taking the island is a "good idea."

Eleven House Democrats jumped party lines to vote with their Republican counterparts in a bid to overturn regulations pushed during former President Joe Biden’s tenure. According to Fox News, the House of Representatives voted 226-197 to overturn Biden-era regulations effectively aimed at restricting how strong shower heads could be. Federal law already caps how much water a shower head is allowed to emit. During the Biden administration, regulators took a broader view of that rule. They concluded that showers equipped with multiple nozzles had to be treated as a single unit, meaning the total water flow across all heads could not exceed the legal maximum.

A proposal by Washington state Democrats to ban most law enforcement officers from wearing face-concealing masks during public operations is drawing sharp criticism from federal officials, who warn the measure could endanger officers at a time when violence and threats against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are rising dramatically nationwide. If enacted, Senate Bill 5855 would prohibit local, state, and federal law enforcement officers, including ICE agents, from wearing masks that obscure their identities during public interactions, with limited exceptions for undercover assignments and certain tactical operations. The bill received its first hearing on Tuesday before the Washington Senate Law & Justice Committee.

Justice Samuel Alito was on fire Tuesday during oral arguments in Little v. Hecox and utterly destroyed Kathleen R. Hartnett, the attorney representing a biological male student who wants to play sports on the girls’ team. His questioning cut right through activist jargon and forced the case onto solid legal ground, revealing just how contorted the arguments become when ideology collides with biological reality. For instance, when transgender activists are asked a simple question — “What is a woman?” — the response is usually a circular word salad claiming that “a woman is anyone who identifies as a woman.” Using a word to define itself explains nothing,
