The unravelling of the world continues: ~Er, so Arab nations no longer want their children studying at Oxford and Cambridge because England's too full of crazy Muslims... (snip)What's playing out on the streets of American cities can't be encompassed by even the broadest definition of politics. As I wearily repeat, we have made a society of men that women don't want, and women that any prudent man would wish to keep at a safe distance. The only "strong, physically confident, masculine men" among the Resistance are the psychotrannies.

Comments:

The highlight of this article is Naomi Wolf's insight into the phenomenon of white women as storm troopers for a Democrat Party that has shed real men. Steyn also takes a look at our president's request to massively throw more money at a war department that needs massive reform rather than more tax dollars.

Full disclosure: I’m in the lead car, 1st row, 1st seat on The Trump Train. But the points Steyn raises are excellent and thought- provoking. AND, as someone who ran on common sense, why are the Chinese still buying land in the United States??? Steyn is right: China doesn’t need a huge military budget: they’re buying our land, invading our schools, and taking over without firing a shot.

merci Citoyen, I am very glad to read wordsmith Mark Steyn. Who else could compose this with humor? “In Afghanistan, the world's most lavishly funded soldiery took a leisurely twenty years to lose to goatherds with fertiliser. After a twenty-minute tea-break, Thoroughly Modern Milley and the rest of the Joint Buffoons of Staff then launched a proxy war against a supposedly busted-arse loser spending a sixth of what Washington blows through, and four years later, as I write, in sub-zero Kiev half of the apartment houses have no light or heat and Lviv in the far west is being hit by hypersonic missiles.”

Naomi Wolf hit the nail on the head with this one. In our subdivision of 48 parcels, we have three lesbian couples that bought parcels, and two parcels were bought by a group of three lesbian couples. (We also have had one single homosexual who was a wonderful, kind and generous man. We have one homosexual "couple" that are "married", thanks to this being California. We share a property line with them. They had the audacity to come to our home to lecture us on our political signs when we displayed "NO" on the proposition that gave us same-sex marriage. We don't get along.) Out of those six lesbian couples, only one would I deem "functional". They are both great gals and very personable. Of the others I've observed the dominate partner displays the masculine traits, while the other is a simpering mess. The "masculine" partner is always raging and in total control of the other. I have never observed such submission in a heterosexual marriage or couple. In one couple, the submissive one actually wrote a book, "Girls Gone Wild". In it she gleefully recounts how they enjoy purposely making displays of affection in public places when they know there are "religious" conservatives in their vicinity. Thankfully they sold and moved out. Funny thing: "Girls Gone Wild" was out at the same time I had "Tea Party: American Revolution 2.0". At that year's Christmas party, she asked me how many copies I sold. When I told her a little over 600, she blanched. I asked how many she sold, "Not that many." I was laughing inside and couldn't wait to tell TK! The "butch" lesbian is aways a big B.

~How was your Thanksgiving? On a day to give thanks for all the blessings of America, it fell to Gary Beckstrom to announce to the world the death of his twenty-year-old daughter, Sarah. That will taint Thanksgiving every year for the rest of Mr Beckstrom's life - in part because his child's blood is on the hands not just of her killer but of the public policy that enabled the murderer to be on the streets of what passes for the national capital.

“We have to do something about labor, and that needs to be a smarter plan than just rounding up every single person and deporting them,” the Georgia congresswoman said. President Donald Trump's trade and immigration agenda is deeply unpopular with the general public. Now, even some of Trump's most loyal allies are voicing their frustrations with the president's policies. During a recent appearance on comedian Tim Dillon's podcast, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R–Ga.) criticized the Trump administration's hardline stance on immigration, warning that its crackdowns create more chaos than security.

~Last week, à propos America's presently presidentless republic, I remarked: Meanwhile, the Ukrainians say Moscow is 'threatening the world with nuclear catastrophe'. Given that an American client state has spent the last month bombing Russia daily, it would be unusual if they were not. But that's no reason to divert the dead husk from another week at his beach house in Delaware. To which Roy Koczela responds: Steyn goes full-on Putinist, literally more submissive to the Kremlin than the Kremlin itself.

~The eminent barrister (and later Lord Chancellor) F E Smith was famously asked by an irritated judge: "Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?" Much of America is institutionally evil, and so-called conservative media are just stringing along for the ride.

Following The Mark Steyn Caribbean Cruise, I am now on terra firma - as are Trump's poll numbers, to a degree not seen either in 2020 or 2016. On the other hand, given the Deep State thumb on the scale in both 2016 ("Crossfire Hurricane") and 2020 (fifty-seven heads of the "intelligence community" assure us that Hunter Biden's laptop is "Russian disinformation"), no prudent person would bet on a free and fair election in November - especially after yesterday's Supreme Court intervention. Most coverage of Friday's verdict from a Manhattan courthouse has focused on the $350 million plus that rogue judge Arthur F Engoron has demanded Trump cough up - for a "crime" which has no known victims and no identifiable proceeds. Confiscating (with interest) close to half-a-billion dollars for no good reason is certainly unusual, even by the standards of US "justice".

Donald Trump has ordered his special forces commanders to draw up a plan for the invasion of Greenland - but is being resisted by senior military figures, The Mail on Sunday has learned. Sources say that the policy 'hawks' around the US President, led by political adviser Stephen Miller, have been so emboldened by the success of the operation to capture Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro that they want to move quickly to seize the island before Russia or China makes a move. British diplomats believe that Trump is also motivated by a desire to distract American voters from the performance of the US economy before the mid-term elections

Once the Nobel Peace Prize is announced, it can’t be revoked, transferred or shared with others, the Norwegian Nobel Institute said in a short statement on Friday. “The decision is final and stands for all time,” it said. The statement comes after Machado said she’d like to give or share the prize with Trump, who oversaw the successful U.S. operation to capture authoritarian Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro. He is facing drug trafficking charges in New York.

With the internet down in Iran and phone lines cut off, gauging the demonstrations from abroad has grown more difficult.

Did we unleash some heretofore unknown powerful weapon that literally floored much of the enemy before any shots were even fired? President Donald Trump is seeking nearly $6.3 million from Georgia’s Fulton County in connection with the dismissed case against him pursued by District Attorney Fani Willis. In 2023, Willis had Trump indicted under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations law, claiming Trump acted illegally in his efforts to push back against the results of the 2020 presidential election. The case was eventually dismissed, and in December 2024, the Georgia Court of Appeals said that a lower court made a mistake in giving Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade, a romantic partner of Willis, the choice of one or the other stepping aside, according to the website Law and Crime.
