A Somali refugee has stepped down from Lewiston, Maine’s City Council just days after being sworn into the seat, after reports revealed that his nonprofit received tens of thousands of dollars from the fund set up to assist people affected by the October 2023 mass shooting in the central Maine city that killed 18. It has also been revealed that the refugee has been charged with a felony.
Iman Osman resigned from the Lewiston City Council after it was revealed by NewsNation that his organization, the Lewiston Auburn Youth Network, received $65,000 from the fund established after the shooting. Overall, $1.9 million of the funds raised,

Just the two words Somali and Refugee should send alarm bells ringing. Is that racial stereotyping? You bet!

FTA: ''The same week of his resignation, Osman pleaded not guilty in Lewiston District Court to one count of receiving stolen property and one count of theft by unauthorized taking of a gun.''
There's really no accounting for the insanity of the Blue State voters and politicians, is there? Strange breed.

The Somali pirate code of ethics says that if you can steal it, it's yours.

Unless we deport every one of these losers the most Minnesota can hope for is that when the booty dries up this tribe will move on to another blue state that will turn a blind eye to their theft. It looks like Maine could be a possibility but there are plenty of others.

A healthy distrust of Somalis is natural. They come from a country that is governed by tribal warlords. It is the most corrupt, backwards country on the face of the planet. It would be normal to want to leave it to live in a modern 1st world country. What is not normal is the Somali tendency to congregate in ghetto-like colonies while demanding to be treated as a ''Somali Community'', maintaining allegiance and loyalty to the very country they fled.
The people of Lewiston Maine must be a bunch of naive idiots to think that a Somali is capable of running anything competently. Of course, they would claim distrust of Somalis to be ''racist''. Except Somali is not a race, it is a nationality. If they cannot run Somalis successfully, they don't have any business serving in a government in a decent country.

As I read the headlines, I am keeping in mind that we are forewarned things that are up will be down and things that are down will be up. It certainly seems like it.

If he only swiped $65K he was not a very good thief. It looks like it was enough to put about a hundred pounds of fat on a skinny body.

It’s time to really hold these cheats/crooks accountable, regardless of political party, whether it be deportations, no more nonprofits, or jail time. If we as American citizens have to show documentation to get a passport, driver’s license, enter a a government facility, or vote, these creeps should have to show proof to collect government handouts. The individual who qualifies these creeps should be held accountable too.
