George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley said on Thursday that footage shows the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent appeared to be within his rights to open fire at a vehicle in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
An ICE agent fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good inside her vehicle after she obstructed a federal immigration enforcement operation and began to drive away. Turley said on “Fox & Friends” that legal precedent likely justifies the shooting since the vehicle may be treated as a weapon.
“The fact is that under the standard of Tennessee v. Garner, this does appear to be a justified shooting. It doesn’t mean that’s how it’s going to work out.

The Left has coordinated its story on the death of Renee Good, the woman who was shot yesterday by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. The party line is that the agent didn’t need to shoot Good, because she was turning her car and wouldn’t have hit him.
Thus, the New York Times’s email carries this subject heading: “Videos contradict Trump administration account of ICE shooting in Minneapolis.” The Times says:
An analysis of footage shows that the vehicle driven by a woman who was fatally shot by an ICE agent appeared to be turning away from the officer as he opened fire.
The Washington Post says almost exactly the same thing.

Let’s start our 2026 by imagining the worst-case scenario – that Donald Trump was somehow beaten by that drunken trollop in 2024. Where would we be right now? Well, we’d be in a very different country, and many of us might very well be in cells. You’ve got a lot of black-pilling from people on our side that not enough people have been arrested, or the administration is moving too slowly on their particular obsession, or that everything isn’t perfect, which means everything is wrong. There’s some truth to that, because we can always do better, but we cannot forget that divine Providence has smiled upon us.

Forget January 6. It turns out January 7 might go down as the date when insurrection really arrived in America — not from the MAGA right, but from the anti-Trump left.
In the aftermath of the fatal shooting Wednesday in Minneapolis of a woman who appears to have tried to ram an ICE agent with her vehicle, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced at a press conference that he had issued a warning order to prepare the Minnesota National Guard to mobilize to “protect Minnesotans” from “rogue ICE agents.”
When asked if the National Guard would be deployed against federal agents, or if anything like that has ever happened before, Walz said,

Whenever Minnesota Governor Tim Walz leaves office, he will leave in disgrace — even puttting the world-beating frauds over which he has presided to one side. He has compiled the worst gubernatorial record in Minnesota history. In addition to the damage he has done to the state, he is dishonest, stupid, vain, petty, thin-skinned, and tyrannical. On the national stage in the 2024 presidential elelction, with his previously undisaplayed effeminate theatrics, we also observed that he is a phony. All in all, a thoroughly repulsive character.
At his press conference yesterday Walz attacked First Assistant United States Attorney Joe Thompson, implying that Thompson should be fired for providing Minnesotans his assessment

You may have seen the news story about an attack on J.D. Vance’s Ohio home. Someone smashed windows with a hammer. There was no danger of physical injury, as Vance and his family were not at home. Still, this is the kind of thing that not long ago would have been unthinkable.
The perpetrator, no master criminal, has been apprehended. William DeFoor is the son of left-wing parents who are Democratic Party donors. Also, he is a “trans” who now wants to be called Julia. (X) The “trans” segment of the population is vanishingly small. Nevertheless, it has been involved in a vastly disproportionate series of violent political acts.

Driving down Snelling Avenue in St. Paul yesterday, I had a flashback from days gone by. Several protesters were flashing “No blood for oil” signs at Snelling and Grand. They took me back to 2003 and Bushitler — how quaint. Perhaps the signs were recycled.
One of the protesters even sported a full face mask. I should have stopped to ask whether the mask was to scare off Covid or to conceal his or her identity, but I passed by.
Today I read that an organization named The People’s Forum is spinning up protests against the extraction of Nicolás Maduro from Venezuela to face American justice.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s daughter admitted there was “enough truth” to the alleged billion-dollar fraud scandal plaguing the North Star State — as she opened up about her father’s abrupt decision to drop his bid for a third term.
Hope Walz appeared on “One Hour Detours” with host John O’Sullivan just hours after her dad announced he was bowing out of the 2026 governor’s race “to kind of get that target off of Minnesota.”
“I think there was enough truth to the fraud claim,” the 25-year-old said. However, she then whined that President Trump and his supporters had twisted and amplified the scandal involving Minnesota’s generous social safety net.

It’s been a mess in Minnesota as of late.
Mayor Jacob Frey and police chief Brian O’Hara were already at odds enough with immigration agents coming in and arresting violent illegal immigrants dwelling in American communities. But more details have emerged on a scheme that could be costing the United States more money than anyone could ever realize.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has already begun an operation looking deeper into day care sites around Minnesota, as they’re suspected of being involved in a multi-billion-dollar fraud scheme. We’re talking $9 billion.
These come from a variety of state benefits and reimbursement programs,

Liberals don’t think they need to follow American laws or respect American traditions, and they don’t recognize the Trump administration as our legitimate government. Devoted, therefore, to insurrection, they think they can operate with impunity as a kind of shadow government. We see this in the business world as well as the private sector.
This incident occurred in a Twin Cities suburb just one town away from my own. A Hampton Inn canceled reservations that had already been made, when they found out that the reservations were for ICE employees: (X) This strikes me as a symptom of mental illness. The more the onion gets peeled back, the more it looks like the Democrat Party has been heavily invested for years in perpetrating fraud via daycare centers. First, it was the mostly Somali-operated "learing centers" in Minnesota, and, now, it looks like upwards of $19 billion in taxpayer money was sent by the Biden admin to daycare centers without first verifying that children were actually attending the centers.
As we've learned from Nick Shirley's fantastic coverage from Minnesota, there's apparently a booming market of "ghost centers" that have the signage and the storefronts, but not so much the children. Shirley visited several centers that looked like

The arrest of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro will reverberate around the world in ways we have yet to see. You have to love watching the American left protest Maduro's arrest and demand his release, while Venezuelans are literally dancing in the streets of Caracas and other places like Miami. After decades of socialism, Venezuela is in an economic shambles. However, with Maduro's ouster, Venezuelans are now rejoicing at the prospect of the opportunities they will now have to improve their lives. But what steps might be needed to take a nation mired in socialism and return it to prosperity? (X) On Monday, Fox Business host Charles Payne appeared
