Seattle's new socialist mayor pledged to 'stand with Somali health childcare providers' as she took a shot at Donald Trump during her inauguration.
Katie Wilson, 43, has drawn scrutiny for openly taking money from her parents to fund her life, and for her so-called 'communist' plans to remake the Emerald City.
In her first major speech in office, she acknowledged Trump's criticism of her campaign.
'I've been noticed by the president of the United States, who called me a "very, very liberal/communist mayor." It's nice to feel seen,' she said to laughs from the crowd.
Wilson has also taken shots at Trump and the Republican Party for going after

Two Space Force officers lost their home and their family cat in what appears to be a targeted attack just days after Christmas.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Caller, Major Jason “Red” Mills detailed how his house had been burglarized and lit on fire, and his had been vandalized. While he, his wife and his ten-month-old daughter were celebrating Christmas in Florida, Mills awoke to a 5 a.m. phone call on Dec. 28 from the D.C. police notifying him that his house had been set on fire. He later learned that his car had also been ransacked and vandalized with messages reading:

The discovery might have been uniforms, but the theories about it are all over the map.
New York City police are investigating just how a box full of NYPD blues showed up abandoned this week near a cemetery in Brooklyn, according to the New York Daily News.
The fact that it occurred only days before the infamously anti-police Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani was sworn in only added fuel to the fire. According to the newspaper, the box was reported by a 911 caller about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Video posted to social media showed police officers combing through the clothing, which was eventually moved to the 66th Precinct station for safety,

Somali operators of daycare centers and other social services receiving tax dollars, many fraudulently, are also donating shares of their looted funds to the Democratic Party, say citizen journalists, and others.
The New York Post, for instance, found that Minnesota Democrats were the happy recipients of $50,000 in campaign donations from many of the now convicted felons who ran the Somalian Feeding Our Future organization that stole some $250 million in Minnesota welfare funding.
For another example, X user Cam Higby looked at some of the numbers in Washington State and found that 80 percent of all donations made by people listing “childcare” as their occupation had donated to Somali Port of

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin is hitting the brakes on $2.3 billion left in spending from the Biden administration’s electric school bus program — following backlash over New York Gov. Zeldin made the decision to review the taxpayer-funded program after $2.7 billion was already “frivolously wasted” under former President Joe Biden on thousands of electric buses, according to an agency spokesperson, working out to a price tag of roughly $318,452.45 per vehicle to produce. French actor George Clooney struck back at President Donald Trump’s snide remarks about him and urged Americans to kick Republicans out of office in the coming 2026 midterm elections.
Clooney had attacked President Trump in an interview with Variety released on Monday, and the president responded in no uncertain terms, trolling Clooney for his many “mediocre” movies and celebrating the fact that Clooney is now a citizen of France and has let the U.S.A.
Trump reported the “good news” on New Year’s Eve on his Truth Social account calling Clooney and his wife, Amal, ” two of the worst political prognosticators of all time.”

One of the things that President Donald Trump is focused on in his second term is eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse within the federal government. Elon Musk and DOGE went a long way to revealing just how large the scope of ridiculous things Americans' tax dollars were being spent on. Currently, in Minnesota, even more fraud and squandering of tax dollars is being revealed. But now we are learning more about how little regard the Biden administration had for hard-working Americans' tax dollars, and where that money went in the year before Donald Trump returned to the White House.

President Donald Trump has warned Iran that the United States is “locked and loaded and ready to go” to protect protesters from the regime as social unrest escalated in the hardline Islamic country. The Mail has more.
Protesters and security forces clashed in several Iranian cities on Thursday with six reported killed in the first deaths since the unrest escalated.
Shopkeepers in the capital Tehran went on strike on Sunday over high prices and economic stagnation, actions that have since spread to other parts of the country.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has made it abundantly clear: he loves collectivism and hates individualism, and intends to implement his collectivist vision as fully as he possibly can while he lives in Gracie Mansion. He has been marketed as an exciting new face, full of energy and brimming with new ideas, but in reality, he is fronting for ideas that are both old and discredited and that are responsible for the deaths of untold millions of people. On Thursday, a man from one of the populations that has suffered the most because of collectivism gently mocked Mamdani’s delusions and pretensions.

Is it even worth saying “We told you so” at this point? There’s really no satisfaction about being right about Zohran Mamdani, and now we all have to sit and watch him not only destroy New York City but also turn it into a haven for antisemitism.
On day one of his administration, Mamdani tossed Jewish safety concerns straight into the trash. Within hours of taking office, he revoked several executive orders Eric Adams had put in place to protect the city's Jewish community and support Israel.
If you're wondering whether New York City will remain safe for Jews, Mamdani just answered that question, and the answer isn't reassuring.

Immigration lawyers are warning that federal agencies are increasingly skeptical when migrants claim to have legitimate marriages with Americans.
The policy shift comes after President Donald Trump’s deputies began cracking down on rising rates of marriage-related visa fraud by migrants who pay Americans for temporary marriages.
While marrying a U.S. citizen has never been a locked-in guarantee that a migrant would be issued a green card, marriages have previously offered a huge boost to a migrant’s request for legal status. But that may be changing as immigration attorneys are finding that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) are giving such marriages much closer scrutiny than ever before.

Last year, the media and the Democratic Party launched a coordinated assault on Elon Musk after he made a harmless gesture of support to the audience at Trump's second inauguration.
Elon Musk was speaking at the event when he told the crowd, “And I just want to say thank you for making it happen. Guess what these men have in common: Albert Einstein, Leo Szilard, Hans Bethe, and Edward Teller.
Everyone knows about Einstein. He won a Nobel Prize for his work on the photoelectric effect, did revolutionary work on the relativity of time and space (all in his mind without a laboratory), fled Nazi Germany in 1933, had wild hair in his later years, and, most importantly, co-authored a letter to President Roosevelt explaining the potential for a nuclear bomb.
That letter is credited with persuading Roosevelt to launch the Manhattan Project. The ensuing nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki put an end to WWII.

While Ohio taxpayers are being told to accept daycare fraud as merely “the cost of doing business,” a stunning new report has surfaced that raises serious questions about who has been operating inside the state’s taxpayer-funded welfare ecosystem and how far those connections now extend onto the global stage.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, RINO Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s office has brushed off mounting concerns over potential large-scale fraud in taxpayer-funded daycare centers—particularly in Columbus, home to the second-largest Somali population in the United States—as merely “the cost of doing business,” even after two independent journalists uncovered disturbing evidence of potential ghost daycare operations in Columbus, Ohio.

Independent journalist Nick Shirley humiliated the mainstream media last week by doing something that the media hasn’t done much of lately: investigative journalism. He visited the sites of suspected fraudulent day care centers in Minneapolis, showing they weren’t operating despite receiving more than $100 million in state aid.
So CNN decided to one-up Shirley by doing their own "investigative journalism.”
Correspondent Whitney Wilde tried calling the daycare centers to ask whether they were fraudulent.
I know. Amazing, right?
Spoiler alert: they said yes. So obviously, that mystery is solved.
Wilde explained in a voiceover in the segment that she "reached out to several of the day cares featured in the now viral video."

Democratic socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani wasted no time trying to erase his predecessor’s legacy — signing a sweeping executive order just hours after taking office that wipes out most of the orders issued by Eric Adams following his indictment.
The move, one of five executive orders the 34-year-old pol signed in Brooklyn Thursday, will revoke all orders issued by Adams after Sept. 26, 2024 — the same day he was slapped with federal corruption charges — to ensure a “fresh start” for his incoming administration.
But he vowed to reissue certain Adams-era orders from that period of time, including one that would maintain the Office to Combat Antisemitism.
