There it was this morning, plain as day. It was a screenshot of a woman going off about how her food stamps were cut off, the $1,000 per month she and her family supposedly get from the government, juxtaposed against her being called out by someone else for hair extensions, expensive trips to the nail salon, and tattoos. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) is opening up hiring to an array of personnel, including those who left during the administration of President Joe Biden, to sustain the success of CBP under President Donald Trump, a top adviser tells Breitbart News.
Breitbart News caught up with Senior Adviser Ron Vitiello, who formerly served as chief of border patrol and acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, on Thursday in the nation’s capital.
“There’s a lot going on” at CBP, Vitiello said. “The Reconciliation gives us an opportunity to hire a lot more frontline personnel, some office staff, as well as professional staff. But the story at the border is even better.”
We can draw a few conclusions from an off-year election, when iconic races in blue states went, as expected, overwhelmingly Democratic.
Nevertheless, there is only a year left before the midterms. So Republicans must react to even these paltry results.
1) Democrats' chaotic nihilism still works. The chaos strategy causes so much turmoil, noise, and negative media coverage that the confused voting public simply cannot sort it all out. The public wishes the upheaval would just go away and often blames those with the most current authority -- logically, the incumbent Trump and his administration.
Remember the virtue-signaling yard signs a few years ago? In rainbow colors, they shouted self-congratulatory platitudes like:

Except that the residents of the house hated anyone who disagreed with them.

As if the phrase “illegal immigrant” is synonymous with the phrase “illegal human.”

In view of the colossal rip-offs committed by the organization of that name, this one didn’t age well.

Except it’s not; water is a simple molecule of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Saying “water is life” is like saying “aluminum is an airplane.”

Well, that was a depressing election day, wasn’t it?

In New Jersey, the Democrats won a yuge race for governor. Democrat Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11), despite being a terrible candidate according to normal candidate metrics, beat Republican Jack Ciattarelli 56.3 percent to 43.2 percent.
My prediction was totally off here, as I assumed that the Republican nominee would win a narrow majority or plurality. In this race, Democrats broke a historical trend going back to 1961,

Something strange happened in New Jersey on election night, and the numbers just don't add up. Republican Jack Ciattarelli lost the gubernatorial race to Democratic Representative Mikie Sherrill by a stunning 56% to 43% margin, a blowout that left pollsters scratching their heads and conservatives asking hard questions about what really went down in the Garden State.
This was supposed to be a competitive race. Trump only lost the state by six points a year prior, and, if you were following this race, you know that Ciattarelli had momentum heading into Election Day, picking up endorsements from local Democrats and labor unions along the way.
