The real estate business in South Florida is booming with residents of New York City looking to relocate as the political climate in the Big Apple appears to be taking a hard left turn, a developer told Fox Business. The CEO of BH Group in Miami, Isaac Toledano, explained that his company “has closed more than $100 million in signed contracts from New York buyers in just the past few months – about twice last year’s volume,” and he believes a lot of it has to do with politics, the outlet reported Wednesday. He said, “I think the election accelerated how people make decisions. I think people are nervous [for] what’s coming,

I doubt whether these people are patriots. I would think they're sickos and psychos taking their "ideas" to South Florida. Perhaps the creation of a new Manhattan cesspool "amongst" friends.

That could well be the case, #1. But I sincerely hope not. Just wondering who is taking flight for Florida. The lower income crowd or the higher more well to do crowd. Or both.

As #1 says. Some will bring their lefty ideas with them but others will be just looking for greener more business friendly state. With with technology available today, a lot of corporations don't need a big expensive physical presence. One SIL and one grandson have worked remotely from home. One has to make occasional trips but the other stays home. One of my ex-employees goes in one day a week to her office only 20 miles away. Many clerical jobs can now be done remotely and that part of the workplace will only grow. A lot will depend on what the communist will be able to do. He may hammer his tax base so much that those on the edge may "Escape From New York" while they can still get a decent price for their real estate. Crime may increase and those individuals with the means to pull up stakes will take that opportunity. I am not sure about entertainment and Broadway might suffer from a tourism drop. That poor woman burned alive on the subway is not good advertising and with the homeless camping there free it may drive a lot of riders away. I feel sorry for the decent citizens who love their city but too many voted for this guy and his "free" stuff promises. When you promise to make Peter to pay Paul etc.

Thats exactly what happened in other states when the refugees from California moved in. Home prices rose to where locals could no longer afford them. Then of course the Californians brought their voting patterns with them and got into local governments. They ruin everyplace they go, just like Moslems. I hope Florida doesn't suffer a similar fate.

Pennsylvania does not want these democrats. Our state is currently purple riding to blue. With the dems coming from NY, NJ, CA, MD and VA our state will definitely become blue, through and through. Although our county is red, it is changing slowly with people coming from Maryland.

The glitch might lie in getting a decent price or any price at all for the old real estate in New York. They may have to abandon it or sell to to speculators. We shall see.

4 is really on to something. To which I'd add: name one place, where Moslems overwhelmed the former demographic, that wasn't ruined. France, Sweden, Norway, Britain, Dearbornistan, Mogadopolis, etc. etc. Luckily for Florida, that particular group will want to stay in New York, since its recent acquisition. It's the flaming Liberals seeking greener pastures who will pollute FL.

Don't come to Florida! We're already full! All the people fleeing blue cities are ruining the beautiful, small pastoral towns and cities in Florida because corrupt county and city councils are allowing overdevelopment to line their own pockets.

Has the Elusive J6 Pipe Bomber Been Identified? 9 replies

Remember the January 6 pipe bomber that the FBI couldn’t figure out due to their serial incompetence? Five years after this supposed attempted attack on the headquarters for the Democratic and Republican National Committees, the FBI learned that the suspect is five feet six inches tall. Seriously, guys? Later, a contractor working with the FBI, Karlin Younger, who discovered the bombs, was the subject of a profile deep dive by Michael Shellenberger, where some stuff did seem a bit odd. Yet, it was Steve Baker and Joseph Hanneman at the Blaze who might have cracked this story wide open. Two things, one, they better be right, and two,

Nancy Pelosi has announced her retirement as of the end of the current term. No surprise there: she is 85 years old, and being in the minority in the House, especially after having been Speaker, is no fun. Conservatives have mostly despised “San Fran Nan,” and president Trump made no bones about his feelings: “I think she’s an evil woman. I’m glad she’s retiring. I think she did the country a great service by retiring,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office when asked for his reaction to the California Democrat’s announcement she is ending her decades-long storied career. “I think she was a tremendous liability for the country,” Trump continued.

The big news story of the week was Zohran Mamdani’s election as Mayor of New York City. Socialism is once again in the news, and meme creators have gone into overdrive. A new generation of anti-socialism memes is being created, and golden oldie anti-socialism memes are being revived. Beyond that, the Schumer Shutdown continued, food stamps have run out, the guy that wants to murder Republicans got elected Attorney General of Virginia, Nancy Pelosi announced her retirement, and conflict with Venezuela is looming. But memesters were more interested in Sydney Sweeney seeing off an interviewer who wanted to talk about white supremacy.

Executives are in active talks about axing the money-losing F-150 Lightning altogether, sources told the Wall Street Journal, in what could become the first major casualty of America’s faltering electric vehicle revolution. The Lightning, launched with fanfare in 2021 and hailed by CEO Jim Farley as a ‘smartphone that can tow,’ was supposed to mark a new era for Ford. Zohran Mamdani’s victory in the New York City mayoral race this week is a clear moment. Voters chose a 34-year-old Democrat Socialist promising frozen rents, higher taxes on the wealthy, more public spending, etc. You know, all the things communists promise before their overblown Marxism takes control. That is now the experiment New York City residents asked for. As GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson (LA-04) explained: Zohran Mamdani’s victory marks the BIGGEST WIN FOR destructive, dangerous, big government SOCIALISM in U.S. history — and a loss for freedom loving American people. He’s an unapologetic Marxist — fully EMBRACED by the Democrat establishment. Hakeem Jeffries ENDORSED him. Barack Obama personally called to CONGRATULATE him.

During Wednesday’s jubilations for Democratic victories across the board the night prior, MSNBC’s Katy Tur claimed New York City’s wealthiest won’t leave because of the immense amount of culture on offer. Her guests also supported the idea that electing Zohran Mamdani (D) won’t scare off the one percent and subsequently bankrupt the city. When asked if it was insane for a socialist to be placed in charge of the “capitalist capital of the world,” former Biden adviser Jared Bernstein defended the mayor-elect: Look, there is a long and mistaken view that what's good for Main Street, or should I say what's good for Elmhurst or Brooklyn Heights, is bad for Wall Street.

Greetings, Dear Reader, As usual, they’re all wrong and I’m right. How can we interpret the two conflagrations in our midst? Let’s get into it. THE PIED PIPER OF BUSHWICK There are a couple of fires right now for conservatives. To our front, the Heritage Foundation is in the midst of a generational struggle session over allegiance to Israel. While I think the reckoning is worthwhile and ultimately inevitable – especially considering future American conservatives are not apt to carry Jerusalem’s burden – the one to our rear is much more immediate and consequential. The story we’re hearing from the left (and the right) about Mamdani’s win in New York City is pure mythology.

The EU summit on Thursday in Brussels focused primarily on security issues. To put it bluntly: Ukraine must somehow turn its lost war against Russia into a victory, and the EU must be militarily ready for action by 2030. The fact that this would only be feasible with a functioning economy has apparently not yet dawned on the power center in Brussels. Instead, they are preparing for a major fiscal “liberation strike,” giving bureaucracy a lush boom of its own. When German chancellor Friedrich Merz traveled to Brussels for the EU summit, his fiery rhetoric about EU bureaucratization followed him closely. “Let me put it in very vivid terms:

Is it, or should it be true that in order to win, we should follow the principle that there are "no enemies to the right?" On its face, the principle makes sense. After all, elections are won by adding together enough voters and voting blocs to get a plurality of the vote. Unless you have more voters than the other side(s), you lose. So if you see a group of voters who might be persuaded to vote along with you, it makes sense to either appeal to them or, at the very least, not criticize them. This is the essence of some conservatives' arguments that the critiques of Tucker Carlson,

Germany's grand “Muslim Miracle” was supposed to save the country’s future. Instead, it broke it into a million pieces. About ten years ago, German leaders sold their citizens on a utopian plan: import millions of young Muslims to flood the workforce, rescue a collapsing pension system, and secure the nation’s prosperity for generations. The theory sounded far-fetched and absurd, but Germans bought into it. However, the reality was a total disaster. Fast-forward to today, and Germany is now raising its retirement age to 70. The German people were lied to. The plan to rebuild the workforce through mass immigration didn’t just fail; it cratered. It didn’t revive the economy
