On Climate, Follow the Money

A week ago, Bill Gates released a long memo on climate that got a great deal of attention. He said more or less what critics like Bjorn Lomborg have been saying for a long time: sure, increased levels of carbon dioxide will tend to increase global temperatures to some extent. But the increase will be modest and will not have catastrophic consequences. Rather than impoverish the world in a futile attempt to control the weather, we should focus on human well-being, which relies more than anything else on affordable energy. You might think that such a moderate, sensible approach would meet with nothing but praise. But no: climate alarmists went crazy,

FTA: " . . . sure, increased levels of carbon dioxide will tend to increase global temperatures to some extent. But the increase will be modest" NONSENSE! There is not a shred of statistical proof that carbon dioxide causes gullible warming - - not a thing. It's discouraging and disgusting that even some intelligent conservatives have swallowed the Fool-Aid. There is NO man-made gullible warming. Don't give the evil leftists even an inch on this scam!

Once again, thank you Donald J. Trump for turning off the US taxpayers' money spigot to these climate grifters. Are we tired of winning yet? No, No and Hell no!!!

China's economy exploded with the Globull Warming scare. They are the world's solar panel producer by far while they build coal and gas fired electrical generation plants. Only fools believe they will shut down those investments in 5 years as promised. Meanwhile Australia is energy starved due to green policies while they ship their coal to China and India. Germany tore down gas and coal and nuclear plants and destroyed forests to build windfarms which they are now tearing down to build coal, gas plants. Many more examples but where are the main stream Media reports? They lie through omission

Excellent essay. Tens of thousands of people stealing 4500K to $1 million per year as "salaries" in the Climate Scam Industry. No way are they going to ever admit what Gates finally figured out, decades later than he should have. I've always understood that the Climate Scam is about money and power and has nothing to do with actual science or climate, only money and power.

The server farms that are going be needed to further AI and other advanced concepts could not possibly be powered by wind and solar (which, I predict, is going away before long ... unaffordable, and horrible for the earth). No, the massive amounts of electricity needed could only be generated by traditional sources, which are nuclear, natural gas, coal, hydroelectric dams. The future Gates wants to happen won't be powered by boutique energy. He knows that. If I had green stocks in my portfolio, I'd be buying puts, selling calls, getting prepared to unload. Short is the way to go on green. Not necessarily today, but before long. Reality has a nasty way of presenting itself, especially to those who resist it.

If you think Bill Gates has changed his philosophy about the one-world government, boy, do I have some ocean-front property for you! No, their end-goal is still the same: gain the power to kill off "unnecessary eaters" and enslave the rest. But the method of getting there has changed. Globull warming/cooling was too slow, and more people were beginning to realize it's a fraud. Now they've come up with a much better plan. My guess is it has to do with AI and digital currency.

The climate alarmists will never give up. We traveled across Michigan last week and as we talked with other "leaf-peepers" we all agreed that we hadn't seen colors so vivid and brilliant in several years. Yet yesterday the left leaning Michgan Daily reported that "Michigan's Muted Fall Foliage May Be a Symptom of Climate Change".

Good article, good comments! When -a few days ago- I read that Gates was abandoning the Climate Scam, it too me about three minutes to figure out that he has figured out that his path to POWER, which used to be via the Climate Scam, has a new, and much faster, more direct path via AI. AI needs computer power, which means the huge Data Centers, which in turn need a TON of electricity. The Climate Scam's purpose is political control via restricting and controlling energy. It is an impediment to the much faster AI path to Power, so it has to be disassembled, much to the 'wailing and gnashing of teeth' of the Climate Grifters. By the way, the article mentions that many of these groups are fueled by Dark Money. I wonder how much of that comes from the ChiComs. The Method has changed, but the Goal -Political Power- remains the same.

MSNBC’s Katy Tur: NYC Has More ‘Culture’

During Wednesday’s jubilations for Democratic victories across the board the night prior, MSNBC’s Katy Tur claimed New York City’s wealthiest won’t leave because of the immense amount of culture on offer. Her guests also supported the idea that electing Zohran Mamdani (D) won’t scare off the one percent and subsequently bankrupt the city. When asked if it was insane for a socialist to be placed in charge of the “capitalist capital of the world,” former Biden adviser Jared Bernstein defended the mayor-elect: Look, there is a long and mistaken view that what's good for Main Street, or should I say what's good for Elmhurst or Brooklyn Heights, is bad for Wall Street.

THE PIED PIPER OF BUSHWICK There are a couple of fires right now for conservatives. To our front, the Heritage Foundation is in the midst of a generational struggle session over allegiance to Israel. While I think the reckoning is worthwhile and ultimately inevitable – especially considering future American conservatives are not apt to carry Jerusalem’s burden – the one to our rear is much more immediate and consequential. The story we’re hearing from the left (and the right) about Mamdani’s win in New York City is pure mythology.
Nothing New in Brussels 2 replies

The EU summit on Thursday in Brussels focused primarily on security issues. To put it bluntly: Ukraine must somehow turn its lost war against Russia into a victory, and the EU must be militarily ready for action by 2030. The fact that this would only be feasible with a functioning economy has apparently not yet dawned on the power center in Brussels. Instead, they are preparing for a major fiscal “liberation strike,” giving bureaucracy a lush boom of its own. When German chancellor Friedrich Merz traveled to Brussels for the EU summit, his fiery rhetoric about EU bureaucratization followed him closely. “Let me put it in very vivid terms:

Is it, or should it be true that in order to win, we should follow the principle that there are "no enemies to the right?" On its face, the principle makes sense. After all, elections are won by adding together enough voters and voting blocs to get a plurality of the vote. Unless you have more voters than the other side(s), you lose. So if you see a group of voters who might be persuaded to vote along with you, it makes sense to either appeal to them or, at the very least, not criticize them. This is the essence of some conservatives' arguments that the critiques of Tucker Carlson,

Arctic Frost Revisited 4 replies

Arctic Frost was the FBI investigation that tried to associate Donald Trump and many other Republicans with the January 6, 2021, Capitol protest. It was the basis for one of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s indictments of Trump. That indictment was dismissed. Senator Chuck Grassley has been on this case for a long time; whistleblowers approached him long ago to explain the corruption of the FBI and Joe Biden’s Department of Justice. Arctic Frost can best be seen as a continuation of the Russia Collusion Hoax and the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, which sought to prevent Trump from being elected, and then to cripple his administration after he won the 2016 election.

The president knows he has just one year until the midterms to fireproof his agenda and safeguard future elections against Democratic fraud. That’s why he wants to end the filibuster. The 60-vote Senate threshold is strangling Republican priorities and is allowing Democrats to shut down the government for the fifth week while blaming Trump.
