The Hammerstein Ballroom in midtown Manhattan hums with the sound of walkers, canes, and Medicare-approved stability sneakers shuffling on the brocade carpet. Several busloads worth of gray-haired radicals are milling about the historic auditorium. Some have shelled out thousands of dollars to be here for a chance to see their favorite MSNBC personalities denounce Donald Trump in person. Liquor drinks are extra. The exorbitantly priced bar opens at 10:30 a.m. We're going to need it.
"MSNBC Live '25: This Is Who We Are" is the failing left-wing network's second live offering in as many years. Last year's event was largely focused on how to stop Trump from winning the election

Pathetic. Both MSNBC and the stupid ex-hippies who would attend such a waste-of-time clown show.

Back around 2006-2007 (operating from memory here( I was recovering from back surgery 0 lubar fusion - don't do it, friends!- and Don Imus watching was a guilty pleasure. Then Imus insulted the Rutgers girls basketball team, was fired, and Dan Abrams took over the programming of MSNBC.
I watched the noon to six p.m. line up every day. It was so bad, it was deliciously good. I don't remember all of the stars in that line up, but do remember that Woody Allen's son, new to radio, and with an unearned radio excellence award in his hand, came on at noon and stared at the camera.
And somewhere in the m ix were Joy Reid, babbling confusedly like Kamala';s voice coach, Toure, a one named man of mystery, and for the icing on the cake, Reverend Al Sharpton, engaged in mortal combat with the teleprompter. And Queen Rachel Maddow looking down at her audience.
There were others, but I can't remember who they were.
It took some special skills for Dan Abrams to put together that line up.
I will never forget them.

It's really funny to see the media circling the bowl and trying to maintain how special they are. It's even better to see their supporters eating the thin gruel and thinking it delicious.
MSNBC was cut out of the corporate sale because everyone knows they are losers on their way out. Since they have no appeal to the primary demographic, advertising dollars will be drying up and they will soon be extinct. Hopefully they will take all their liberal dinosaur talent with them.

OMG! Only a miniscule 4 to 6 thousand 24- to 54-year-olds, advertisers favorite demographic, watch MSNB-sleeze on a given day? What business would even bother to support this programming? It would be an anti-business expense - in truth a TAXABLE political contribution NOT a valid business expense.

This trend of aged woke Trump haters has caught me by surprise. Perhaps I wasn’t paying attention. FOX commented several times about the gray-headed crowds at the “No Kings” foolishness and the reporting in this article repeatedly returns to comment on the age of the attendees at the MSNBC event. Being a Vietnam era survivor myself (never a liberal), I can’t understand how maturity and experience has failed to mellow the hippie population to infuse some degree of common sense. “There’s no fool like an old fool” rings true here.

One can almost hear the swoosh of helicopter blades and the intro to the Door's 'The End' while reading the article.

#8, maybe its all the medicinal weed these folks have been smoking over the years. That stuff is known to stunt memory, maybe it has the same effect on maturity.

When the name change becomes official this week, MSNOW will stand for “more s*** no one watches”…. What a pathetic crowd of has-beens and losers.
The 60’s are over, folks. Go home and play with your grandchildren - if you bothered to have any.

2nd post apologies, but, here is the origin of the name MSNBC.
MS stood for MicroSoft, b t Gates bbailed early. The N BC stood for National Broadcasting Company.
The new name is bereft of meaning.

MSNBC has admitted it isn't news, it's biased commentary. They want to keep the audience they have left.

FTA:"The exorbitantly priced bar opens at 10:30 a.m"
10:30 AM? I suppose that's the best time of day for those who may be napping by noon (I wonder when joe tippled) or for those who have coupons for the Early Bird Special.
For MSNBC's crowd we'll have to change the old saying to "Hey! It's gotta be 10:30 AM somewhere!!"

There isn't enough beer in New York City to make me go to that senior citizen lovefest (I'm 81). How many people actually watch Rachel Maddow? I can't imagine it is enough to warrant $25 million a year. She must have some agent.
