I don't know if you've seen anything about Barack Obama's presidential center. But if you didn't, he posted about it on Saturday. It's been a boondoggle now for some time. It is, in fact, the perfect representation of Barack Obama.
Here's a Newsweek headline on the project: "Behind Schedule, Over Budget, and Mired in Lawsuits."The local community was also unhappy with it or had concerns. One resident called it a "monstrosity," taking away from the beautiful area that once was there. So much for the feelings of the locals. Guess those got lost in the narcissism.

The Obama Center is the most gawd-awful-looking structure in the land.
No windows to speak of, but a.skylight.
I would be afraid of getting trapped in there if there were a fire.
Obama can have it.

Residents are losing green space parkland.
Local taxes and rents are going up due to having his library in the neighborhood.
Building is ugly and sticks out like a sore thumb.
Construction costs are going through the roof.
Does Obama care?

Every time I see the Obama Library I think of the young girls who’d been to Epstein Island and described Epstein’s member as being shaped like an egg. Also, the lack of windows to let in light is a perfect metaphor for Obama’s arrogant, angry and foolish leadership. Surprise, Chicago! You voted for the thug and now you get to look at the results every day: the ugliest building in America dropped like a dog t*rd in your city.

That is very revealing about Obie’s mindset and how he perceives esthetics and reality. He has a very disordered mind.

Looks like a medievil prison. Why no windows? I'd never walk in there for that reason alone. I don't think anything uglier can be designed.

It reminds me of the Jawa's sand crawler from Star Wars... After it was shot up be the imperial. Creepy and just wrong looking. Like a metal and steel tumor on the earth.

It is an ugly building, just like everything about him is ugly. I bet there are no windows to reduce the chances of someone peeking in and seeing Michelle's manhood.

We were in Paris some years ago and on the trip to the airport we saw the "assisted housing" had buildings like that for the "migrants" currently overrunning France. Gray, depressing concrete blocks. At least those had some small windows.
It fits Obama's monument tho...a soulless concrete block. I guess it fits his Soviet outlook about their ugly apartment buildings with their 800 square foot units.

I still think the plain outside will be finished off with giant murals or frescoes of The One in grandiose poses. That way all the peasants can look up and gaze upon his magnificent image and be inspired.

Dopey Opie is still living under the delusion that he was a great president. Who would go there for inspiration when everything he did was a huge failure? Obamacare. Billions in cash to Iran. Fast & Furious. Racial Division. First Illegal President. Did I mention Obamacare?

Obama's library/monolith/death star/Muslim place of worship is an abomination, much the same as his presidency. Now he's being accused of funneling donations from the structure to other liberal causes, and probably no small amount into his own pockets...channeling his inner Clinton. Wouldn't it be great if all the donors walked away and the Obama Presidential Library became a graffiti stained outhouse that never reaches completion.

The joke of a building is very fitting for the joke of a president. The shame of it all is the joke was on U.S.

One of the recent memes from the New York Post showed the Obama library on the left and a large gray garbage can on the right. Almost twin images. Same difference. Also shown among the memes was the album cover of Who's Next (1971), maybe the greatest rock album of all time. The iconic front picture shows a large concrete obelisk in an isolated field of of rocks somewhere outside London, perhaps the blank side of a WW2 bomb shelter. The band is zipping up after having "anointed" the concrete chunk. Who's going to anoint the Chicago structure?

The word "change' should be as unpleasant as our "four-letter" words. Using it without context means anything the listener want it to be. Muslims hear Sharia, illegals hear citizenship, Democrats hear more free stuff, etc.
And yes, the building is as ugly as their souls.

The building looks like a bombed-out Gazan structure. Who's bright idea was this architecture? Because it looks dystopian, unfinished, and bombed-out.

The general shape of Zero's "Presidential Center" is such that every time I see it, I am reminded of a monument called "The Mask of Sorrow". This monument is located in Magadan, Russia, at the eastern end of the 1,262-mile long Road of Bones. It is a monument to all the prisoners who suffered and died, both in the Soviet gulags in the 1930-1970's, and the prisoners who died building the Road of Bones, and whose bones are buried in the dirt-work of the road.
Here is a link to a photo and an explanation of the monument.

You can tell it is a project managed by democrats. BTW, the building sketches remind me of those tall narrow buildings in the Middle East where the dude stands on top and calls the people to prayer. Do you think that this building is being built for this purpose? If so, we are in trouble.

"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away".
