The Virginia Fraternal Order of Police is demanding that embattled Democratic attorney general hopeful Jay Jones exit the race “immediately” in light of the recently surfaced text messages showing him fantasizing about the former state House speaker getting shot in the head.
Jones’ disturbing text messages in 2022 had surfaced late last week in a bombshell story, but the AG hopeful has remained in the race and local Democrats have stood by him.
“This conduct has no place in our society or democracy, especially from an elected official who is running to be the top prosecutor in Virginia,” the Old Dominion State’s FOP wrote in a letter to Jones on Monday.

Germany could pull out of next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna if Israel is excluded, Chancellor Friedrich Merz warned on Sunday.

The National Review story revealed an August 2022 exchange between Jones — a former Norfolk delegate and one-time assistant attorney general — and Del. Carrie Coyner, R-Chesterfield. In the texts, Jones described a scenario in which Gilbert “gets two bullets to the head,” followed by a wish that the Republican lawmaker’s children “die in their mother’s arms.”

In blue cities across America—Portland, Oregon, especially—often violent protesters now seek to surround ICE facilities to stop federal officers from fulfilling their assigned and legal duties of arresting illegal aliens. Some 10 million or more illegal aliens were allowed to enter the U.S. during the Biden years—illegally and thus without criminal or health checks. Neither Antifa nor liberal urban America objected to such a flagrant disregard for the law. We don’t know how the government shutdown will end. We do know what its defining image in Washington will be: A computer-generated sombrero, plopped onto the heads of prominent Democrats, accompanied by an equally cartoonish Pancho Villa mustache.
The sombrero meme started with pro-Trump social media accounts and quickly jumped to the president himself, who shared an AI-generated video of Democratic leaders with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wearing the stereotypical costume.
Reporters in the Brady Room earlier this week were greeted by the meme on a loop; the vice president, addressing them on the shutdown, laughed at Democrats who were offended by the trope.
Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer says that there’s only one party that wants to shut the government down. He’s right: it’s only Democrats who won’t allow the Senate a few more weeks at current spending levels to agree on a new budget.
The shutdown highlights three weaknesses undermining the Democrat Party as we head toward next year’s midterm elections. First, the left wing of the party is running the show. Schumer is terrified of being primaried by New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC); his obstinance is a matter of survival, not conscience.

Generally speaking, the people of Gaza are barbarians. That’s not true to a person, but it’s true as a people.
Their education level is extremely low, even in comparison to the education levels in Democrat-controlled big cities in America.
They live in abject poverty. Their economy is primitive and much of it is barter-based. Their currency, to the extent they use one, is the Israeli shekel but U.S. dollars and Jordanian dinars are in regular circulation as well.
