Attorney General Pam Bondi got into a heated exchange with Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal (Conn.), accusing him of “lying” about his military record when asked about the lobbying activities of her former firm, Ballard Partners.
The back-and-forth took place during a Senate Judiciary Committee oversight hearing with Bondi on Tuesday.(snip)That prompted an indignant response from Bondi, who immediately pivoted to accusing Blumenthal of lying about his military record.
“Sen. Blumenthal, I cannot believe that you would accuse me of impropriety when you lied about your military service. You lied, you admitted you lied to be elected a U.S. senator,” she said, speaking over Blumenthal.

"Accused" nothing. Blumenthal absolutely lied about his military. Not in dispute.

What about the time Da Nag Dick carried two severely wounded American soldiers on his back - - while trudging through a rice paddy - - under heavy machine gun fire from the Viet Cong?
Yeah - - what about it?

I was a Marine - in Vietnam. Blumenthal wouldn’t make a pimple on a good Marine’s ass.

HA!! Bondi called Blumenthat a LIAR to his plastic-looking FACE today. He deserves it and so much more. He and Chris MUrphy are my senators from CT and I still cannot believe it to this day. But elections in CT are crooked, cronyism & corruption run deep here. ANd if people who deny that white priviledge exists, I invite you to visit ANY contry club in CT, ANY golf course, virtually anywhere where rich white folks go to play with themselves. Greenwich is a perfect example-full of liberal s who support any hafre-brained scheme the Dems propose as long as it does not affect them directly. They love illegals alright, the further away they are the more they love them. KInda like the folks in Nantucket who freaked out when the migrants were bussed to their very doorsteps-they could get rid of the fast enough, remember?

How could one possibly ‘mis-speak’ about being in such a place? Is he that dense? Vietnam, even in peace, is not a place someone might ‘think’ they’d been to without having set foot there. Did he smoke that much dope?

Pam Bondi didn't accuse him; she stated a fact. He said he served in Vietnam, but he was in the USMC but never served in Vietnam. That's called stolen valor and is an affront to all those brave Americans who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.

Sadly #1, it would seem the people in deep blue CT just don't care and may have been happy to hear he didn't actually serve.

The Vietnam War was a hellhole where over 58,000 members of the US military were killed. You don’t misspeak about be a member of the US military stationed in Vietnam during that war, you lie about being there if you were not there. I know because I spend the entire year of 1968 on the ground in Vietnam.

Ms. Bondi was on fire against ALL the lying, no good stinking 'rats yesterday. When they prepared their questions for her, they had absolutely NO IDEA that she would come out firing cannons against their pea shooters and she had all the proof she needed to show that her statements were factual. Even the useless media couldn't cover for the scummy 'rats. It was glorious!

Bondi is not the shy, ineffective creature that many accuse her of being over her careful handling of the Epstein situation. I saw fire coming out of her eyes when Blumenthal opened his stupid mouth. She will come through for us. Many of the goons in Congress have lied about their past and accomplishments to dishonestly attain their positions, too many to list, eh, Lizzie?
