Students at Auburn University taking "Crime and Justice in America" are learning queer criminology, which includes lessons on radical gender ideology that contradict Alabama's definition of sex, critical race theory —the notion that the Black Lives Matter movement has been a positive influence on the nation and other progressive theories on race and racism. Of the course material reviewed, 100% were progressive with ideological talking points.

How in the heck does a university allow this garbage to be part of their curriculum? How can they have this sort of sickos teaching?

Simply BEING queer isn't illegal and nor should it be. Nonetheless, it is immoral - God's Word spells it out. The consequences for sin are His domain. Do not ask me to affirm your sins but outside of your private spaces do not expect me to tolerate it - especially if it is in the presence of impressionable minds - children and students. Like misery, sinners love company and classes like this are actually attempts to make the sin seem acceptable. On YOUR time and dime, again, that is your business. But using MY tax dollars to spread the poison should not be possible.

Yes, all of the black ads and movies showing black people in roles that they would never play in reality and the mixed race couples have been just great for America. May we have some more please.

As an engineering graduate of Auburn University, this was my letter to President Gogue several years back when this systemic racism and DEI raised it's ugly head: Yes, I too have pains of frustration and lots of questions. My frustration is with letters like this one from Dr. Gogue. He says Auburn University must confront the pain, fear, systemic racism and injustice faced by the black community. Based on what? Isolated incidents of tragic deaths/murders? These isolated incidents happen to all ethnicities, not just blacks. Check the crime stats in our local area. Are whites the only ones who are capable of discrimination and festering hate? Does he not see any of this in the majority of the multitudes burning, looting and destroying public and private property? How many lives have been lost as a direct result of these lawless thugs? And they are thugs, and not disenfranchised victims. He lists imperatives and is obviously asking the Auburn Family to embrace them. These are not imperatives! These are nothing more than a recounting of what we have been doing for the past 50+ years. This guilt he is assigning to us (and all whites) elected a black president of this great country in spite of this systemic racism he refers to. Does he not remember? The time for conversations is over! We have been talking for the past 50+ years. The problems that still exist are not going to be addressed in the conference room or in the streets. The logical solution is adherence to our constitution and the rule of law and order. The opportunity for success and achievement is available to all citizens of this great land. I have no sympathy or empathy for those who blame me for their lot in life and expect me to fix it. I (nor the Auburn Family) did not have a damn thing to do with it.

So let me get this straight: PRIVILEGED people, you know the ones who can afford to attend this university, are learning to target . . . who? Oh, that's right, themselves--except they're too stupid to figure that out! They are pathetic.

In response to a Federalist inquiry, not a single Democrat U.S. Senator called for the Virginia Democrat attorney general candidate Jay Jones to drop out of the race in light of his text messages fantasizing about assassinating Republican Todd Gilbert. “Put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know and he receives both bullets every time,” Jones wrote, after running a hypothetical about how to allocate two bullets among Gilbert, Hitler, and Pol Pot. The 2022 text messages were first reported by National Review on Friday. According to a source cited by the outlet, Jones also “suggested he wished Gilbert’s wife could watch her own child die-

The most destructive inferno in Los Angeles history, which charred a devastating path through Pacific Palisades and Malibu in early January, was a rekindling fire that an Uber driver intentionally set days earlier near a popular hiking area, federal investigators alleged. Authorities on Wednesday also announced the arrest of 29-year-old Jonathan Rinderknecht, who is suspected of setting the initial fire on New Year’s Eve. Rinderknecht, of Florida, was charged with maliciously starting what eventually became the Palisades fire. Among the evidence that was collected from his digital devices was an image he generated on ChatGPT depicting a burning city, said U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli.

Katie Porter threatened to walk out of an interview with a local CBS News affiliate after the reporter asked several follow-up questions about whether her support for Democrats’ congressional redistricting measure would alienate Republican voters. The on-camera sitdown with Porter, a frontrunner in the gubernatorial race, grew confrontational after the reporter, Julie Watts, asked: “What do you say to the 40 percent of California voters — who you’ll need in order to win — who voted for Trump?”

Tours at the Capitol have come to a standstill. The House is keeping its doors closed, while the Senate is stuck in a loop of failed votes on a rejected plan to reopen the government. President Donald Trump is threatening to mass fire federal workers and refuse back pay for the rest. As the government shutdown enters a second week, there’s no discernible endgame in sight. “You have to negotiate,” Sen. Bernie Sanders, the independent from Vermont, argued late into the evening on the Senate floor. “That’s the way it works.”

Hamas has agreed to a peace deal pushed by President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza and return the hostages, two years after the terrorist network attacked Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, sparking not only the bloodiest day for Jews since the Holocaust, but a deadly war and a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to make the announcement: "I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan. This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Former FBI Director James Comey pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a federal charge of lying to Congress five years ago. Comey, 64, also denied a charge of obstruction of justice tied to the long-running probe into alleged collusion between President Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russian officials. His trial was set for Jan. 5, 2026, after a brief hearing. The two-page indictment handed up by a federal grand jury last month accuses Comey of lying during a Sept. 30, 2020, Senate Judiciary Committee hearing when he claimed he didn’t approve leaks

The $7,500 federal “incentive” dangled as an inducement to move the EV needle has expired. This means EV sales — if you want to use that word to describe a transaction involving the buyer, the seller, and you, the party who is taxed to “help” facilitate it — are likely to slide even farther below the waterline than they already were. This tends to happen when people are obliged to pay full price for a thing that is only tempting to them when it is heavily discounted — like those half-off dented cans of soup you sometimes see on sale at the supermarket.

Things are not going well for Jay Jones. Maybe he could have survived his disgusting comments about a fellow legislator and that person's wife and children. But then yesterday we learned that Jones had previously made similar comments about police officers, suggesting that if a few more cops were shot and killed, they wouldn't be as likely to shoot people. If you missed this, I wrote about it yesterday. Unfortunately the earlier conversation about police wasn't over text messages so we don't have the proof it happened. Jones denied it, but the story is coming from the same Republican lawmaker who those other texts were sent to.
