They can’t stop it. They’re powerless. And we don’t care if you’re upset. The memes will continue until the government reopens. It’s asymmetrical warfare—I love it. The Democrats never expected to be hit like this during the Schumer shutdown, and it shows. They are seething over President Trump’s trolling of Democrats over their little show here. Liberals want $1.5 trillion for illegal alien health care and NPR funding. That’s the crux of why they decided to shut down DC. When talks failed, Trump posted a video of Hakeem Jeffries, K-Mart Obama, standing next to Chuck Schumer with a moustache and a sombrero, where the latter rattled off reasons

The Liberal government's compensated confiscation campaign aimed at removing the vast majority of semi-automatic firearms from the hands of legal gun owners has officially begun, with a pilot program in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia launching on Wednesday.
The "buyback" effort is aimed at taking thousands of models of semi-automatic firearms away from their once-lawful owners, who risk criminal charges if they're caught in possession of their firearms once the government's amnesty period has expired.
[snip] He said after the program ends and there are no more buybacks, police will know who still has banned guns, so he may as well comply now and get something for it.

The religion of Islam teaches that raping and killing non-Muslims is a holy and necessary action. Is it any surprise, therefore, that some of the Muslim immigrants to Europe and America admit frankly that their goal is, quite simply, conquest and transformation?
San Diego Imam Uthman Ibn Farooq delivered an address in Birmingham, Great Britain, which should chill the heart of every American patriot. America and Europe will be Muslim, the imam excitedly predicted, urging his fellow Muslims not to water down a single word of their religion, which includes explicit commands to rape, assault, conquer, and murder “infidels.” The imam even referenced a desire to be a “martyr,”

A group calling itself “Friends Against Fascism Organization” announced it would hold a “tailgate” party on the University of Virginia campus Friday evening to burn American flags while serving “burgers, dogs and refreshing beverages.” White House rapid response strategist Greg Price shared the group’s flyer on X. However, the legitimacy of the “organization” planning the protest in the parking lot prior to a UVA volleyball match Friday night remains unclear. The university has never heard of the group.
The event is ostensibly in response to President Donald Trump’s executive order in August to prosecute flag burning when it incites violent crime.

A student television network at the University of Delaware, which houses the Biden Institute, offered "SPECIAL THANKS" to "CHARLIE KIRK'S KILLER" at the end of a comedy program, then quickly and quietly removed the joke from the episode.
The credits for last week’s episode of the Biweekly Show, a student comedy program produced under the university’s supervision, included a "special thanks" section with entries like "COCAINE," "AMNESTY WEEK," "VIOLENCE"—and "CHARLIE KIRK'S KILLER." Delaware Republican Party executive director Nick Miles told the Washington Free Beacon the video was uploaded to YouTube the evening of Sept. 25 and replaced with a version that omitted the credits the following afternoon. The episode does, however,

The Democrats appear to have miscalculated on triggering a government shutdown by a vast measure, which we started to see in motion mere hours after the Schumer Shutdown began on Oct. 1.
Then as my colleague Ward Clark wrote earlier on Thursday, President Trump signaled in a Truth Social post he was eager to sit down with OMB head Vought in the afternoon, to dig into what extraneous government spending might get cut--especially anything prized by the Democrats. We may have had a preview of this, though, from something Vought posted on his X account on Wednesday afternoon --

Thursday on MSNBC’s “All In,” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said President Donald Trump’s second term has become “the worst crisis in America literally since the Civil War.”
Host Chris Hayes said, “You’ve have been in you’ve served in Congress, in the Senate, you served through a number of different administrations with different presidents. I’ve covered a number of shutdowns. I’ve never seen a president during a shutdown kind of gloating about the ability to punish people or to take stuff away from people in states that didn’t vote for him. Have you seen that before?

Hamas on Friday agreed to release all Israeli hostages — living and dead — but wants to negotiate the other terms of President Trump’s comprehensive peace deal even after the commander in chief said there was “not much” room for discussion. [Snip] “Based on the Statement just issued by Hamas, I believe they are ready for a lasting PEACE,” Trump said in a statement posted to his Truth Social page.
The commander in chief later posted a short video on Truth, calling Friday a “very special, maybe unprecedented” day, while thanking countries including Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan for their help in hammering out the proposed peace deal.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the U.S. military killed four “narco-terrorists” on a boat he said was carrying narcotics off the coast of Venezuela on Friday morning, the latest strike on “narco-trafficking” vessels in the Caribbean Sea.
Hegseth said a “kinetic” strike took out a boat affiliated with a designated terrorist organization in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
No U.S. forces were injured during the operation.
“The strike was conducted in international waters just off the coast of Venezuela while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics – headed to America to poison our people,”

The Department of Energy canceled a $630.6 million Biden-era grant that would have funded green energy projects in California, and which Gov. Gavin Newsom (D.) praised as "critical" to the state, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.
According to internal agency documents, Trump Energy Department officials determined that the grant would have been used primarily to support new solar and wind energy projects. State leaders said they planned to use the funding to upgrade 100 miles of transmission lines to enable more green energy to come online as part of the California Energy Commission's so-called CHARGE 2T program.

President Trump said Thursday that he’s still weighing the idea of giving Americans up to $2,000 in rebates derived from the revenues his tariff agenda has generated.
Trump’s proposal to share some of the hundreds of billions of dollars the federal government has collected since he slapped foreign nations with steep levies in April, comes as the Supreme Court is slated to hear arguments in a case next month that will decide whether the president has the power to impose sweeping global tariffs.
“They’re just starting to kick in,” Trump said of the tariffs in an interview with One America News Network,

Thursday on CNN’s “The Arena,” Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) said President Donald Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s meeting of military commanders on Tuesday was a crazy “disgrace.”
Crow said, “Packing hundreds of general officers, generals and admirals into a room so they could be lectured by Pete Hegseth on woke culture war issues and grooming standards is not something that you see in the United States of America or should see in the United States of America. That’s something that Vladimir Putin would do. That’s something that Kim Jong Un would do, or Xi
