Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) shared a study that showed that left-wing terrorism had reached a “30-year high,” and criticized Democrats for using rhetoric such as “Hitler” or “fascist.”In a post on X, Fetterman included a screenshot of an Axios article titled “Study: Left-wing terrorism climbs to 30-year high.” Fetterman noted that “political violence is always wrong,” and called for everyone to “turn the temperature down.”
“Unchecked extreme rhetoric, like labels as Hitler or fascist, will foment more extreme outcomes,” Fetterman said. “Political violence is always wrong — no exceptions.”
“We must all turn the temperature down,” Fetterman added.

Scott Jennings absolutely dominated a CNN panel discussion Saturday by reminding his fellow commentators of some inconvenient facts about how the justice system actually works and that it is wrong to claim that Trump ordered Comey's indictment.
The discussion began after CNN played a clip of President Donald Trump criticizing the corrupt Democrats who weaponized the Justice Department for years.
“It’s not a list, but I think there’ll be others,” Trump said in the clip. “I mean, they’re corrupt. These were corrupt, radical left Democrats. They’ll be others. Look, it was — that’s my opinion. They weaponized the Justice Department like nobody in history. What they’ve done is terrible.

I guess the Bard must be MAGA because he sure knew how to assess the left’s current hysterical media meltdown: “It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” Everywhere you look, it’s over-the-top hyperbole from every Dem legislator,Dem pundit, and Dem mutant, with lots of high-pitched squealing about fascism and racism and how Trump is trying to be a king and how he is a Nazi and blah blah blah blah blah. Obviously, it’s all nonsense. Obviously, it’s all coordinated. Obviously, the memo went out that the social media interns need to turn it up to 11,

The Republican Party has not just won the political fights (so far), but they are winning the culture, too.
No longer do they have to worry about the lamestream, liberal media defaming them. They have social media on their side, with Elon Musk running the X (Formerly Twitter) ship of state. Big Media has little power now, and President Trump has forced Republicans to enjoy living in the limelight for once. Why was the 1995-1996 shut down a PR failure of sorts for the Republicans? It’s not fair to blame Newt Gingrich too much. After all, Republicans had not held the Congressional House majority since 1952.

On Saturday, President Donald Trump authorized the use of military force to quell the never-ending drama in Portland, and late Sunday, Department of War Secretary Pete Hegseth made good on that and ordered 200 National Guard troops to the West Coast city.
Portland, of course, has been the site of many Antifa riots, the recent violent actions against ICE facilities, and—don’t forget—numerous Black Lives Matter outbursts during the 2020 George Floyd riots. They vandalized the federal Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse and were accused of arson, destruction, and attacks on federal officers.

In the final days of the Obama presidency — while Americans were focused on inaugurating a new president and turning the page on a divisive era — President Barack Obama signed a quiet but sweeping executive order that many now see as a ticking time bomb planted in the heart of our Intelligence Community.
On January 3, 2017, just 17 days before Donald Trump’s inauguration, Obama signed a modification to Executive Order 12333, authorizing the National Security Agency (NSA) to share raw signals intelligence (SIGINT) with all 16 other intelligence agencies — including the FBI, the CIA, and even obscure agencies like the Drug Enforcement Administration’s intel wing.

In the wake of James Comey’s indictment, Democrats like Richard Blumenthal and Eric Swalwell are issuing dark warnings with a straight face that “what goes around comes around” and that anyone who cooperates with Donald Trump’s “vengeance prosecutions” will face retribution when Dems are back in charge.
But their threats fall on deaf ears because they started it. Democrats long ago weaponized the justice system against their political opponents.
Let us count the ways.
On Joe Biden’s watch, Trump faced four separate indictments with 88 criminal charges; more than 1,500 Trump supporters were arrested and over-prosecuted in the J6 investigation;

To my mind the two biggest stories of the week for their domestic impact are Senator Chuck Schumer’s threatened government shutdown and the indictment of former FBI head James Comey. Neither of them bodes well for the Democrats, whose favorability ratings are already scraping bottom. Both revolve around the magic date September 30, that is, this Tuesday. If the Congress does not pass a continuing resolution this Tuesday, the government will shut down. Schumer insists that he won’t vote for a stopgap bill, something centrists in his party like Senator Jeanne Shaheen are seeking. Schumer, along with Congressman Hakeem Jeffries,

Well, I predicted a Friday ruling from the Supreme Court — it's just that I predicted it in the case involving Federal Reserve Board Governor Lisa Cook. Instead, we got a ruling from the high court on the USAID funding case. (Which isn't to say we won't also get one on Cook's case — there's still time left in the day.)
Once again, the court handed the Trump administration a win, this time by formally granting the administration's application for a stay of D.C. District Judge Amir Ali's September 3rd preliminary injunction, which blocked the Trump administration from withholding previously appropriated USAID funding.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die: but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.
