Following the midterm “shellacking” of 2010, President Obama and Eric Holder began the “secret research project” targeting political opposition using the IRS. DOJ asked the IRS for the donor data of all supporters to conservative groups. [Schedule B’s of 501c(3)(4)]. The IRS was used to identify targets 2011 and 2012, until discovered April ’12. President Obama has a problem. President Obama then sends his Chief of Staff, Jack Lew, to run the IRS and block discoveries around the IRS weaponization. From 2012 through April 2016, the Obama administration then began spying on political opposition, using the FBI to conduct surveillance through their access to the NSA database.

During his 2023 State of the Union address, he railed that “the tax system is not fair, it’s not fair.” A year earlier, he proposed a “billionaire minimum income tax.”

The president continues to claim the benefits of his economic plan despite widespread criticism, telling One America News Network that America’s $37 trillion national debt is “very little, relatively speaking” because of his “Liberation Day” tariffs.
In the same interview, he said that his tariffs will generate “trillion dollars a year”. Since April, tariff revenues have raised around $214 billion.

US District Judge Michael Simon, an Obama appointee, at the request of the DOJ, recused himself due to a conflict of interest involving his wife, Democrat Rep. Suzanne Bonamici.

The Department of Energy canceled a $630.6 million Biden-era grant that would have funded green energy projects in California, and which Gov. Gavin Newsom (D.) praised as "critical" to the state, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.
According to internal agency documents, Trump Energy Department officials determined that the grant would have been used primarily to support new solar and wind energy projects. State leaders said they planned to use the funding to upgrade 100 miles of transmission lines to enable more green energy to come online as part of the California Energy Commission's so-called CHARGE 2T program.
