Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem exploded in outrage over a cryptic and “menacing” tweet issued by California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s press office this past weekend. “Kristi Noem is going to have a bad day today. You’re welcome, America.” Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary at DHS, blasted Newsom’s team for crossing the line into dangerous rhetoric. McLaughlin wrote on X: “This reads like a threat. This is ugly, @GavinNewsom. Your keyboard warrior team may hide behind their laptops and spew this kind of vitriol, but you would never have the guts to say this to her face.”

Monday on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Trump border czar touted the results of his administration’s illegal immigrant crackdown. According to Homan, “close to 1.6 million illegal aliens” have self-deported.[snip]
“We’re at over 400,000 deportations. And between CBP and ICE, and that’s just since the president took office. The first four months of the fiscal year, we can’t count that, because Joe Biden wasn’t doing anything. But here’s what people need to understand, two things. Number one, over 1.5 million illegal aliens, close to 1.6 illegal aliens already left the country on their own.

New Mexico’s National Guard Adjutant General announced Monday that Guardsmen will soon be deployed to Española, a town of roughly 10,000 people in northern New Mexico whose leaders recently asked for state help dealing with a crime, drug and housing crisis. Española will be the second New Mexico city to receive National Guard troops this year. Albuquerque, the state’s biggest city, has seen a monthslong troop deployment in support of the Albuquerque Police Department. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham authorized the deployments to both cities in emergency orders that cite rising crime and short-staffed law enforcement agencies.

President Trump addressed the United Nations today and roasted the world’s elites right to their faces. Our own Katie Pavlich is traveling with the president, noting that, unlike his first presidency, these leaders aren’t laughing anymore. Trump means business, and he doesn’t bluff.
Yet, there might have been acts of sabotage, something that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said must be investigated. These aren’t unfounded accusations; some UN staffers were joking about screwing around with the escalators, which stopped working as soon as the president and First Lady Melania Trump hopped on them. The microphones were also not functioning correctly, and the teleprompter was malfunctioning.

Law enforcement authorities quickly recaptured two illegal aliens who escaped from Border Patrol custody after allegedly choking a female agent. Officials say the attack happened while the two Mexican nationals were being transported to a detention facility. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers initially arrested the two during a multi-agency enforcement operation in the greater Houston area.
The short-lived escape began when 29-year-old Juan Carmen Padron-Mendez and 23-year-old Juan Carlos Padron-Barron, both illegal aliens from Mexico, were being transported to the Montgomery Processing Center on Monday.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. — The trial of Ryan Wesley Routh came to a dramatic end Tuesday when he started stabbing himself in the neck with a pen after a Florida jury found him guilty of attempting to assassinate Donald Trump last year on a golf course.
After just two-and-half hours of deliberations, the panel also found Routh guilty of assaulting the Secret Service agent who rousted him from his hiding place and guilty of three federal gun charges stemming from the Sept. 15, 2024, incident.
Routh, who had pleaded not guilty to all the charges, now faces life in prison when he is sentenced.

Something big is happening with America’s young people. It has been building for the past two years. It centers on faith, purpose, and a renewal toward more traditional American values. This new American youth counterculture movement looks very different from the one that burst onto the scene in the 1960s.
Sixty years ago, the youth movement on college campuses set out to upend our culture’s status quo — the rebellion created a seismic cultural and political shift away from post World War II traditionalism.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries sent a joint letter to Trump on Saturday requesting a meeting to discuss funding the government ahead of the Sept. 30 deadline. Trump cast doubt on whether he would be able to agree to Democrats’ demands for policy concessions in exchange for their votes on funding the government, but indicated that a meeting with party leaders could still happen.

Charles Murray could be physically assaulted at a college while the perpetrators walked away with a ‘mark’ on their permanent record, the willingness of conservatives to appear on campus was an act of courage. To do it the way that Charlie Kirk did was sheer heroism. There’s no question ... that the majority of campuses, professors and students only became more hostile to free speech since his campaign began.

We have been following the cases that address the president’s control over the executive branch under Article II of the Constitution. By statute, Congress has tried to limit the president’s powers, most notably by establishing “independent” agencies that are not fully under the president’s control. The constitutionality of such agencies has always been doubtful, but in Humphrey’s Executor v. United States, 295 U. S. 602 (1935), the Court upheld the law that said the president can remove a commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission only for cause.

Let's recap, shall we? Fourteen months ago, Donald Trump got shot and Corey Comperatore got killed by an assassin in Butler County, PA. A few weeks later, another assassin got captured on Trump's Florida golf course. Just this week, people have fired shots over political issues more than once, and oh by the way, the event yesterday memorialized someone who'd been assassinated for his politics.
With all of that as background, plus the fact that both the President and Vice President would be participating in the event, the Washington Post cast a skeptical eye on the expense ahead of the event:

America has a lot of built-in safety backups and redundancies.
But every once in a while, when tradition, science, time-tested protocols, and common sense are ignored, a fragile system utterly collapses.
Usually, an iconic event reveals how vulnerable the entire country has become, and predictably occurs when suicidal ideologies and nihilism, in perfect-storm fashion, wreak havoc. The media, academia, the bureaucracy, and higher education can mask the dangers of their political agendas—at least until their sheer incompetence or toxicity can no longer be hidden or excused, and a predictable disaster ensues.
Take the January 4-5, 2025, Pacific Palisades fire that destroyed an entire historic neighborhood of Los Angeles.

What rubbish.
In fact, he was at the center of the two seminal events that led us to our nation’s unstable political state: his election and the defeat of Hillary Clinton. By electing Obama, Democrats viewed themselves as having expiated America’s original sin of racism. For Democrats, Obama’s election was not simply the choice of a Democrat over a Republican. It was a religious act of moral redemption. And Democrats were the agents of this moral redemption.

In 2014, Israel’s future had never seemed brighter. Led by the high-tech sector, the economy was booming. The Israel Defense Forces—with advanced weapons, an outstanding air force, sophisticated intelligence capabilities, and cybersecurity prowess—gave the Jewish state the most powerful military in the Middle East. While not producing warm relations and bustling commerce, treaties with Egypt (1979) and Jordan (1994) brought cold peace and stability along Israel’s two longest land borders. World surveys placed Israelis among the happiest of populations. As I have been shouting from the rooftops (figuratively speaking) for a quarter of a century, there exist in Western Europe entire cities, and large sections of other cities, that are already effectively under Islamic control. Muslim leaders who at first, before their fellow believers had achieved dominance, played the victim and spoke of religious freedom and minority rights, now wield their power ruthlessly, imposing sharia law with increasing imperiousness and treating the non-Muslims among them the same way that infidels have always been treated in Islamic societies.

Elite-driven outrage culture has turned rhetoric into real risks on California’s streets, created by an environment where social media doesn’t just echo political theater, it amplifies it.
From Sacramento to Los Angeles, citizens are living with the fallout: intimidation normalized, threats brushed off, and responsibility abandoned. This is what happens when words are weaponized.

President Donald Trump officially designated Antifa a domestic terror organization on Monday.
In his Sept. 22 executive order, Trump defined Antifa as “a militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government, law enforcement authorities, and our system of law. It uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals.” Antifa became particularly infamous during the 2020 summer of love and the so-called "mostly peaceful" protests, and it remains a source of violence in the United States, with Portland just one city still enduring months of anti-ICE Antifa riots.

The inspiring nearly five-hour memorial featured speeches from a number of public figures and officials, including President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk. Here are the most unforgettable moments from the service. Erika Kirk revealed Sunday that she has forgiven the suspected assassin for taking her husbands’s life.
Kirk, through tears, explained that Charlie visited college campuses to help save young men.
“He wanted to save young men.

Every time I write something about our current entanglement with Venezuela lately, something else explodes just after we publish it. Sometimes literally. On Friday, I gave a little update on, among other things, how many cartel boats out of the South American country that our military has blown up and then walked away from my computer for the day, only for President Donald Trump to announce via social media that we got another one. This time, we killed three narco-terrorists. If you're keeping track at home, that's the fourth cartel boat out of Venezuela that the United States has blown up this month.

Low-rated "comedian" Jimmy Kimmel is headed back on the air after he was briefly suspended for lying about who murdered Charlie Kirk. As RedState reported, the late-night host will return on Tuesday night, marking a victory for the far-left elites who rallied to his defense. So much for all the cries of "fascism," I suppose. Early on in this controversy, I opined that controversial comments from FCC Chairman Brendan Carr were not the reason for Kimmel's suspension. It seems I was right, given this reversal wouldn't have happened if ABC were truly terrified of the federal government taking action.

After years of being gaslighted by some of the most dishonest people in election history, The Gateway Pundit, along with some of the most respected election investigators in the state, are about to blow the lid off the lies about Detroit’s “secure” 2020 election that helped to give Joe Biden an inexplicable victory in the must-win state of Michigan.
On Election Night 2020, President Donald J. Trump appeared to hold commanding leads in key battleground states — approximately 100,000 votes in Wisconsin, 300,000 in Michigan, and 700,000 in Pennsylvania.

I am not opposed to using the death penalty for specific heinous crimes. Certainly, it was warranted for Timothy McVeigh, and Charlie Kirk’s killing was indeed heinous. However, the alleged assassin is Tyler Robinson and that gives me pause, because there are thousands of Tylers out there ready to make him a martyr.
This hate-filled, deluded, brainwashed community has been groomed deliberately by a Machiavellian academia since the 1960s.
There was a time when public education institutions were staffed with unbiased professors and educated their students with genuine facts and encouraged independent thought. That was back then.
