The assassination of Charlie Kirk cries out for the death penalty, which is rarely imposed by Utah courts.. (snip)Utah has executed only one person(snip) in the last 15 years, and there are only four criminals on Utah’s death row, each of whom has been supported there at taxpayer expense for more than 29 years.(ship) Utah has a pro-transgender culture, contrary to every other Republican state. In 2023, with Gov. Cox’s signature, Utah codified a pro-transgender administrative rule that had first been promulgated in 2020, making it one of the only Republican states with a law that prevents parents from seeking professional counseling to treat gender dysphoria in their children.

Roughly a month ago, The New York Times dropped a damning story about the current state of the Democrat Party. The main takeaway of the extensive report was that America’s leftist political entity is facing a massive voter registration crisis.
Buried within the article, however, was a tacit admission that, “For years, the left has relied on a sprawling network of nonprofits — which solicit donations from people whose identities they need not disclose — to register Black, Latino and younger voters.” Although these groups claim to be “nonpartisan,” the outlet noted, “the underlying assumption has been that most new voters registering would vote Democratic.”

On Saturday morning, California Gov. Gavin Newsom's Press Office made an alarming post on X, reading, "Kristi Noem is going to have a bad day today. Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom recognized a Palestinian state on Sept. 21.
The announcement was made ahead of the U.N. General Assembly in New York City; the countries had pledged to recognize a Palestinian state before the summit.
“Today, to revive the hope of peace for the Palestinians and Israelis, and a two state solution, the United Kingdom formally recognizes the State of Palestine,” British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said in a statement.“Since 1947, it has been the policy of every Canadian government to support a two-state solution for lasting peace in the Middle East,” Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said in a statement

Some Democrats claim to want “unity” in the wake of the far-left political violence they fomented, but it is hard to believe they want anything other than to be absolved of responsibility when 118 of them in the House refuse to officially condemn the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The House of Representatives passed House Resolution 719, condemning Kirk’s assassination and “Honoring the life and legacy of Charles ‘Charlie’ James Kirk,” on Friday 310-58. While 95 Democrats voted in favor of the resolution, more than half of the Democrats in the House either voted against it or decided not to support it by voting “present” or not voting at all.

The Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement has gained in ranks mostly due to the pragmatic messenger who cuts through party lines, Donald Trump; but also, because the political left went too far into the world of social crazy. OpenAI has announced plans to develop an automated age-prediction system to determine whether ChatGPT users are over or under 18, following a lawsuit related to a teen’s suicide. The teen’s parents claim that Sam Altman’s AI chatbot served as the boy’s “suicide coach.”
Ars Technica reports that in the wake of a lawsuit involving a 16-year-old boy who tragically died by suicide after engaging in extensive conversations with ChatGPT, OpenAI has announced its intention to implement an age verification system for its popular AI chatbot. The company aims to automatically direct younger users to a restricted version of the service, prioritizing safety over privacy and freedom for teens.

President Trump pushed back on reports that Erik Siebert, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, resigned from his post, claiming, “he didn’t quit, I fired him!”
“Today I withdrew the Nomination of Erik Siebert as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, when I was informed that he received the UNUSUALLY STRONG support of the two absolutely terrible, sleazebag Democrat Senators, from the Great State of Virginia,” the president said in a Truth Social post just past midnight Friday. “He didn’t quit, I fired him!”
He added, “Next time let him go in as a Democrat, not a Republican.”

After Charlie Kirk was assassinated last week, conservatives noted that most political violence comes from the left. The left bristles at this fact and has responded by dramatically padding the numbers to pretend the reverse is true.
Consider a Sept. 12 piece from The Economist claiming, “extremists on both left and right commit violence, although more incidents appear to come from right-leaning attackers.” (snip)The founder and executive director of the Prosecution Project is Michael Loadenthal, although the links naming the website’s leadership were broken Friday, .(snip).Loadenthal is an “openly anarchist Antifa-affiliated … researcher at the University of Cincinnati who, by his own admission, is a far-left violent extremist,”

Texas A&M University President Mark A. Welsh III will step down on Friday after more than a week of turmoil sparked by a viral video of a student confronting a professor over gender content in a children’s literature course, the Texas A&M University System announced Thursday.
The video, along with an audio recording of Welsh initially refusing to fire Professor Melissa McCoul, first circulated online on Sept. 8 after state Rep. Brian Harrison, R-Midlothian, shared it on the social media platform X.Welsh fired McCoul a day later, but the move did not satisfy Harrison, or Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, who did not think Welsh handled the situation properly.

Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib had a fiery back-and-forth with Florida's Byron Donalds during a House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday. The outspoken Democrat blasted President Donald Trump's Washington DC crime crackdown, slipping in a jab about the National Guard decision by the Trump administration as "fascist" during the hearing with Mayor Muriel Bowser and other DC leaders.
"We can't be passive right now ... nobody over there should take this personally," she said, motioning at the Republican side of the chamber. "It's really important we stand up against this fascist takeover - that's not a bad word, it's a fact."
(snip)
At that point, Donalds interjected, bringing up the fascist remark.
