AOC Becomes De Facto House Minority Leader

Original Article

Before last Friday’s House vote on a symbolic resolution condemning the assassination of Charlie Kirk and all forms of political violence while honoring his life, the purported leaders of the Democratic Caucus informed its members that they would support the measure. Yet, in a truly vile floor speech prior to the vote, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y) called the resolution “reckless” and claimed Kirk’s “rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans.” In the end, less than half of the Democrats voted for the resolution. The rest stood with AOC.

Well, I hold some hope that about half of them refused to jump into AOC's blind hate boat. This is a welcomed change--though surprising. If Erika can forgive the person who murdered her husband, I feel that the least I can do is refuse to hate those democrats who refused to join with the haters within their own party. After all, Charlie wanted us to talk things out, not shoot at each other.

The Barmaid AOC would be wonderful for US. Hakeem is an evil person as crafty as Hussein. AOC OTOH has the intelligence of a box of rocks.

Schumer Melts Down Over Kimmel Being Preempted,

The left is in the middle of a full-blown manic response over Jimmy Kimmel's show being indefinitely preempted after a decision by affiliates and ABC. This followed Kimmel's disgraceful remarks alleging MAGA was desperately trying to spin the narrative that Kirk's accused killer wasn't one of them. That flew in the face of facts that the authorities have laid out regarding the case, and frankly, could deceive the public. ABC decided to pull the show after its Nexstar affiliate called the comments "offensive." That sparked a meltdown from Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who blamed Trump.

Generally speaking, when people jump to the conclusion that there was a conspiracy to commit some heinous act, it is a mistake to jump down that rabbit hole without first seeing a lot of evidence that it hides something dangerous. So when people started whispering about a conspiracy to kill Kirk, I thought that it was likely just paranoid musings that led in that direction. After all, lone crazy people do things often enough. But in this case it is beginning to look like this was a Trantifa conspiracy, and the FBI is seriously investigating links between trans activists who explicitly said online things that

As liberals flail around to find a new excuse to ignore the horrific murder of Iryna Slutskaya in Charlotte, a new set of excuses has popped up: Republicans only care about her death because she is white, and if we really cared about Ukrainians, we would support Ukraine even harder in its war against Russia. (Snip for tweet)It's a variation on "Republicans pounce," but in some ways it is more revealing than the more direct version that POLITICO and other media outlets chose as the frame for the issue. It is true that race is a component in the outrage--after all, the killer muttered several

Compare! A man slashed a woman’s throat in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Democratic mayor released a statement expressing elaborate ritual sympathy for the poor, unhoused gentleman who was driven to this desperate act by the inadequacy of the government services that were available to him. Woman brutally murdered / “I want to be clear that I am not villainizing those who struggle with their mental health or those who are unhoused.” She said she didn’t fully understand the event yet because she hadn’t assessed the medical records of the poor man who stood up on a train and started carving up a stranger with a knife.

Late last week NBC ran a “news” story featuring a dozen disgruntled federal judges whose rulings against various Trump administration policies have been stayed or overturned by the Supreme Court. These lower court judges, none of whom had the courage to allow NBC to name them in the article, bewailed the failure of SCOTUS to provide sufficient justification for ruling against them. It’s blindingly obvious, however, that the real issue they are whining about is the Court’s refusal to countenance their usurpation of the President’s Article II powers and frustrate implementation of his agenda.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Krist Noem appeared on the disgraced CBS News over the weekend and found herself deceptively edited by the far-left Sunday morning current affairs program Face the Nation. When Skydance purchased Paramount Global (which included CBS News), it promised things would change, specifically at CBS News, which is only surpassed by CNN in peddling lies and conspiracy theories. Well, meet the new boss… Noem was asked a question about the credibly-accused wife beater/gang banger/human trafficker/child porn solicitor and illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia, only to have the most vital part of her answer edited out of broadcast.

Whew, better late than never! That was my first reaction to the news that President Trump intends to give Rudy Giuliani the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The announcement followed the serious weekend car crash in New Hampshire that sent the 81-year-old Giuliani to the hospital. Thankfully, his injuries, said to include a broken vertebrae, are not life-threatening and he has been released from the hospital. A likely result is Trump’s presentation will focus almost exclusively on Giuliani’s greatest achievement: His stellar tenure as New York’s mayor.

When President Trump signed his August 25th executive order setting guidelines under which burning an American flag can be prosecuted, we quickly learned how ignorant his critics are about the constitutional and cultural implications of desecrating this revered national symbol. Indeed, it appears that very few of these people actually read the President’s EO. It does not, as most Democrats and alleged experts insist, violate the 1989 Supreme Court ruling in Texas v. Johnson that flag burning is protected speech under the First Amendment.

Just eight years ago, in those halcyon days of 2017, millions of women took to the streets in pink “pussy” hats to protest the election of President Donald Trump, who they saw as an affront to women. The Women’s March planted leftists’ enraged flag in the sand — and eight months later they swamped social media and America’s airwaves to excoriate sexual harassment in the workplace. Protecting and believing women was the movement’s clarion call, with the hashtag #MeToo a symbol of women standing together against predators and abusers. And now, in 2025, they have once again taken to the streets to rally around . . . a credibly accused wife-beater.

President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he is working with Republican lawmakers to craft a new crime bill. It’s what our Country need, and NOW! More to follow. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!” Trump had previously floated the idea of passing a new piece of legislation to curb crime in major cities across the country after federalizing law enforcement in Washington, DC.

We need to mark this one freeze frame, this digital data point in time, as that moment leftist lunacy was fully exposed in its utter moral collapse. We think we've seen it before in the election losses, the USAID money laundering scandal, the cheating vote counters, the Beria school of malpractice at the Justice Department, and cheering for criminals. However, this moment, this snapshot, says it all.Like a controlled demolition of an old relic of a building, the scene in a Mexican restaurant captured on video showed a piece-by-piece, trope-by-trope implosion of the leftist superstructure built on the foundation of bigotry, lunacy, and hearsay.

Barack Obama is such a soulless fraud. He’s spent the last week trying to downplay the significance of Charlie Kirk’s assassination. First, he pretended that the motive behind Charlie’s murder was impossible to ascertain. Then he blamed President Trump for welcoming “extremism” into the White House. Finally, he insinuated that Charlie was a racist and at least partially responsible for his own death. As always, America’s foremost “divider in chief” excels at rubbing salt in gaping wounds. The Soros network of NGOs must have recently sent out marching orders instructing Democrats to speak favorably of Obama’s presidency because every prominent Donkey Party politician has tried to rewrite Obama’s divisive reign

A number of show business, news media, and political personages have proclaimed vile comments, cheering the murder of Christian conservative Charlie Kirk. So, too, have entertainment-industry has-beens who grab for modern relevance. None will be named by this writer, who doesn’t wish to aid miserable lost souls’ quests. I believe there are at least two reasons some celebrities acquit themselves so despicably. First, unfortunately, a hatred market exists. Just as there are garbage-hearted people with wallets, there breathe conscienceless graspers with big eyes. Whether someone is selling a candidacy, a movie ticket, a TV program, a recording, or any other commodity, market cultivation is surely a consideration.

If Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez plans to run for president in 2028, she’s just made the biggest mistake of her political career. That speech of hers will be written in ink, and it will haunt her for years to come. Why? Because she didn’t know the first thing about Charlie Kirk, and everyone who watched her give that speech knows she’s either ignorant or lying. We know that on the Left, they do not believe in any kind of presumption of innocence when it comes to words. Words are harm. Words are violence. Most of all, words define who you are.

Does California Governor Gavin Newsom want his state to remain a part of our federal union? Newsom does not like our president. The fact that Donald Trump is a member of the opposing party is immaterial to the governor's critique of the United States federal government. Newsom doesn't like to be told how to run his far-left-wing, kooky, dystopian nightmare of a state. In fact, Newsom rejects any effort Washington makes to exert control over federal policy in California. It's not just immigration enforcement. Newsom has been resisting federal rules on auto emissions, Clean Air Act waivers, and the removal of EV mandates.

Some Democrats claim to want “unity” in the wake of the far-left political violence they fomented, but it is hard to believe they want anything other than to be absolved of responsibility when 118 of them in the House refuse to officially condemn the assassination of Charlie Kirk. While 95 Democrats voted in favor of the resolution, more than half of the Democrats in the House either voted against it or decided not to support it by voting “present” or not voting at all.
