As liberals flail around to find a new excuse to ignore the horrific murder of Iryna Slutskaya in Charlotte, a new set of excuses has popped up: Republicans only care about her death because she is white, and if we really cared about Ukrainians, we would support Ukraine even harder in its war against Russia. (Snip for tweet)It's a variation on "Republicans pounce," but in some ways it is more revealing than the more direct version that POLITICO and other media outlets chose as the frame for the issue.
It is true that race is a component in the outrage--after all, the killer muttered several

A man slashed a woman’s throat in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Democratic mayor released a statement expressing elaborate ritual sympathy for the poor, unhoused gentleman who was driven to this desperate act by the inadequacy of the government services that were available to him. Woman brutally murdered / “I want to be clear that I am not villainizing those who struggle with their mental health or those who are unhoused.” She said she didn’t fully understand the event yet because she hadn’t assessed the medical records of the poor man who stood up on a train and started carving up a stranger with a knife.

Late last week NBC ran a “news” story featuring a dozen disgruntled federal judges whose rulings against various Trump administration policies have been stayed or overturned by the Supreme Court. These lower court judges, none of whom had the courage to allow NBC to name them in the article, bewailed the failure of SCOTUS to provide sufficient justification for ruling against them. It’s blindingly obvious, however, that the real issue they are whining about is the Court’s refusal to countenance their usurpation of the President’s Article II powers and frustrate implementation of his agenda.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Krist Noem appeared on the disgraced CBS News over the weekend and found herself deceptively edited by the far-left Sunday morning current affairs program Face the Nation.
When Skydance purchased Paramount Global (which included CBS News), it promised things would change, specifically at CBS News, which is only surpassed by CNN in peddling lies and conspiracy theories.
Well, meet the new boss…
Noem was asked a question about the credibly-accused wife beater/gang banger/human trafficker/child porn solicitor and illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia, only to have the most vital part of her answer edited out of broadcast.

Whew, better late than never!
That was my first reaction to the news that President Trump intends to give Rudy Giuliani the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The announcement followed the serious weekend car crash in New Hampshire that sent the 81-year-old Giuliani to the hospital.
Thankfully, his injuries, said to include a broken vertebrae, are not life-threatening and he has been released from the hospital.
A likely result is Trump’s presentation will focus almost exclusively on Giuliani’s greatest achievement: His stellar tenure as New York’s mayor.

When President Trump signed his August 25th executive order setting guidelines under which burning an American flag can be prosecuted, we quickly learned how ignorant his critics are about the constitutional and cultural implications of desecrating this revered national symbol. Indeed, it appears that very few of these people actually read the President’s EO. It does not, as most Democrats and alleged experts insist, violate the 1989 Supreme Court ruling in Texas v. Johnson that flag burning is protected speech under the First Amendment.

Just eight years ago, in those halcyon days of 2017, millions of women took to the streets in pink “pussy” hats to protest the election of President Donald Trump, who they saw as an affront to women.
The Women’s March planted leftists’ enraged flag in the sand — and eight months later they swamped social media and America’s airwaves to excoriate sexual harassment in the workplace.
Protecting and believing women was the movement’s clarion call, with the hashtag #MeToo a symbol of women standing together against predators and abusers. And now, in 2025, they have once again taken to the streets to rally around . . . a credibly accused wife-beater.

President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he is working with Republican lawmakers to craft a new crime bill.
In a post on Truth Social, the president wrote, “Speaker Mike Johnson, and Leader John Thune, are working with me, and other Republicans, on a Comprehensive Crime Bill. It’s what our Country need, and NOW! More to follow. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
Trump had previously floated the idea of passing a new piece of legislation to curb crime in major cities across the country after federalizing law enforcement in Washington, DC.

We need to mark this one freeze frame, this digital data point in time, as that moment leftist lunacy was fully exposed in its utter moral collapse.
We think we've seen it before in the election losses, the USAID money laundering scandal, the cheating vote counters, the Beria school of malpractice at the Justice Department, and cheering for criminals. However, this moment, this snapshot, says it all.Like a controlled demolition of an old relic of a building, the scene in a Mexican restaurant captured on video showed a piece-by-piece, trope-by-trope implosion of the leftist superstructure built on the foundation of bigotry, lunacy, and hearsay.

On August 8, 2022 about 30 FBI agents descended on Donald Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago and searched the place with less civility than they would have afforded a Miami drug lord. They spent most of that day rummaging through Trump’s personal belongings — and those of his wife and son — allegedly in search of classified documents. This was the first time in American history that such an outrage had been committed against any former president. Yet it was greeted with thinly disguised glee by Trump’s critics, including erstwhile National Security Advisor John Bolton.

Robbie Woodland was skeptical of President Trump’s takeover of the District of Columbia until she spotted a patrol firsthand in Southeast.
The lifelong Washingtonian watched as federal agents drove by without performing any jump-outs or other strong-arm police tactics of the sort she feared would target her predominantly Black neighbors living across the Anacostia River, a part of the nation’s capital long associated with high crime.
When she took her focus off the patrol and looked at her surroundings, she noticed that the troublemakers who had become fixtures of her community were nowhere to be found.

f you're a working parent (or if you know one) then you already know—summer is one big juggling act.
Yes, there can be joy in the mix with sunshine, sprinklers, and popsicles. But there are also child care gaps, tricky logistics, and the ever-mounting costs of it all. And in the middle of all that juggling, it can be really tough to also keep up with what's happening in Congress. You might hear something about a "One Big Beautiful Bill" on the news or overhear some political back-and-forth, but what does any of that actually mean for you and your juggling routine? Let's break it down.
