A 2019 mission in North Korea, which intended to have Navy SEALs plant an electronic device to intercept communications of the country’s leader Kim Jong Un, resulted in an unsuccessful operation that left unarmed North Koreans dead, according to a report from the New York Times on Friday.
The mission, which took place during President Donald Trump’s first term, required the president’s direct approval, the Times reports, and came amid high-level nuclear talks between the US and North Korea.
The White House and Pentagon declined to comment.

Former President Joe Biden has sparked health concerns after stepping out in Delaware with a large scar across his forehead.
The 82-year-old was seen looking frail in new footage leaving a church in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with what appears to be a large gash on his head.
The footage, first shared by Inside Edition, was taken by local Fred Karger who told the outlet that from up close it resembled a scar from skin cancer surgery.
The night before, he was also seen at a local ice cream shop wearing a baseball cap that appeared to cover the injury.

Have federal district judges peaked? Democrat judges, especially Biden judges, have been issuing insane rulings trying to stop President Trump from doing pretty much anything. These rulings are so bad that even Justice Kagan, hardly a Trump pal, was baffled by them.
I’ve argued that these rulings are literal lawfare, there’s no pretense that these various blocks are even legal, they’re there to force Trump to go to the Supreme Court. And then the Supreme Court, especially its weakest man, Chief Justice Roberts to mull over what the cocktail party set will say and cringe over being accused of being a rubber stamp for Trump.

Senior officials at the U.S. Department of Justice have held multiple meetings in recent days to consider a possible federal ban of transgendered individuals from owning firearms, Breitbart News has learned.
Multiple sources familiar with the matter, including one official inside the DOJ, confirmed (snip) that the Office of Legal Council (OLC)—which advises the Attorney General on legal matters—has held several such meetings since the tragic shooting, allegedly by a transgendered individual, (snip)
This legal question of banning firearm ownership for transgendered individuals would focus on whether these people suffering from gender dysphoria are in fact mentally ill and therefore should be denied firearm ownership while they are unstable and unwell

Two significant shifts for Canadians appear to come out of the recent tour of Europe as highlighted today by Prime Minister Mark Carney.
The first development is the formal declaration that Canada has joined the “coalition of the willing”, along with the U.K, France and Germany. The second announcement is that Canadian troops will join the coalition of the willing and put boots on the ground in Ukraine, as part of the coalition’s security guarantees for Ukraine. Nicolas Hulscher, writing in Dr. Peter McCullough’s Substack, is covering a new comprehensive review of over 100 studies that shows the shocking impact mRNA injections may be having on rates of cancer:
A comprehensive literature review by Mathilde Debord titled “COVID-19 mRNA vaccines can induce cancer in 17 distinct ways, according to over 100 studies” was just published in Le Point Critique. Drawing from over 100 peer-reviewed studies, it outlines 17 distinct biological mechanisms by which the injections may initiate, accelerate, or reactivate malignant processes.
Some of the different ways the mRNA shots may initiate, accelerate, or reactivate malignant processes include:

We’ve covered the story extensively—Donald Trump sees the ongoing, unthinkable level of crime and violence that goes on daily in the nation’s capital, decides to do something about it, federalizes the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), and deploys the National Guard.
What happens? Crime plummets to levels not seen in years.
If you’re a Democrat, however, you don’t like this for several reasons: 1) It makes President Trump look good, which you can’t stomach even if lives are at stake, and 2) you don’t actually care about crime and don’t mind seeing it continue in our nation’s cities. (Some might think that’s a harsh assessment—

Rep. Yassamin Ansari, D-Ariz., sparked a social media firestorm on Thursday for saying she does not "give a sh--" whether people in her district can vote for her in a rebuke of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.
During a press conference on Capitol Hill on Thursday, Ansari was asked about her use of the term "constituents" while criticizing the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts.
"So, I didn’t realize this was such a controversy until the right-wing media started attacking me for using the word, so I Googled the word constituent. The definition of constituent is somebody who is part of a community, doesn’t matter what their legal status is," Ansari said.

It was a busy week. President Trump didn’t talk to reporters for two days, and Democrats started a rumor that he was dead. Trump threatened to crack down on crime in Chicago, and Democrats protested. The administration terminated a group of drug traffickers with extreme prejudice, to the dismay of liberals. And there was much more. But it was Greta Thunberg–specifically, her haircut–that more than anything else, provided material for meme-makers.
Here we go with this week’s collection:

The Joe Biden autopen fiasco isn’t over, and it never went away. It just went dormant for a bit, but we knew something was going to drop, and it has. President Joe Biden signed a trove of clemency petitions before he shuffled out of the White House. There are concerns that he wasn’t cogent or even aware of what he was signing. That issue presented itself with executive orders, as told by Speaker Mike Johnson. The mountain of clemency petitions was navigated by a shoddy chain of command among top Biden staffers, and again, it presented issues about whether Joe Biden was aware of what was going on

Was floating a ban on trans people owning guns just some basement-level idiot’s idea for “owning the libs”?
In the wake of Robin Westman’s deadly Minneapolis rampage, some troll in the bowels of the Trump Justice Department reportedly proposed blocking trans people from buying firearms by declaring them all “mentally ill.”
This, of course, is absurd as a simple matter of law: No rule that strips a (dubiously-defined) group of their Second Amendment rights has any chance of holding up in court.
And if it did somehow survive, that’s an open invitation for future progs to create their own “mentally ill by definition” categories — deployable to limit lots of other rights.

WASHINGTON - The United States has ordered the deployment of 10 F-35 fighter jets to a Puerto Rico airfield to conduct operations against drug cartels, sources say, adding more firepower to intensifying U.S. military operations in the Caribbean that are stoking tension with Venezuela. The new deployment comes on top of an already bristling U.S. military presence in the southern Caribbean as President Donald Trump carries out a campaign pledge to crack down on groups he blames for funneling drugs into the United States.
