Some of the biggest health industry news has dropped in the past week, which is no doubt why we Americans are being distracted by former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) directors and rogue Health and Human Services (HHS) staffers mounting a smear campaign against HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.[snip] On Wednesday, HHS Secretary Kennedy announced that the issue of Information Blocking would finally be addressed, and he detailed why in a video on X.

"More than 1,000 insubordinate current and former Department of Health and Human Services employees released a letter today demanding Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s resignation." All of the current employees that signed the letter should be summarily fired.

This is a problem that should have never existed. I experienced it and thought that the medical provider just didn't understand HIPPA. Yes! Make this info blocking go away.

Heads up on a new issue. I went for my annual physical and saw on the wall a sign that the clinic is now using AI. I was able to opt out. I had already opted out of them sharing my vaccine information with the state of Louisiana. Apparently HIPPA protection is useless when the government wants information.

HIPAA is worse than useless. If you read all the fine print on the back that they make you sign, pretty much everyone is exempt from the law. It is worded so broadly if the paper boy wants your info he can get it.

#2, 100% correct. We do not need any of them.

I have this problem all the time with my various Doctors. I get numerous blood tests and the information is useful to all My doctors but is blocked all the time. But on the other hand, you don't want this info going to corporations, govt. officials, or criminals. Your medical info should be shared with your doctors or other authorized persons ONLY!

So many things we sign without reading the fine print.
Why? because there is so much of it.
I call it the internet printing.
If you want to get done what you have to sign to get done why read the print? You won't get the benefit without signing so they have you by the balls.

It took me a little while to reach this conclusion, but I reached it before Trump became POTUS again. I’m so very thankful RFK, Jr. was chosen by DT, and confirmed as HHS Secretary.
I think the main reason Kennedy wanted to run for the presidency was to have the power to do the job he is doing as HHS Secretary, and I believe it is providential that things worked out as they did. He has a much better chance of doing what needs to be done, and being successful at it, under Trump. Like Trump, his background has prepared him for doing the good job he is doing. He has been a public figure all of his life. That means that his life has been pretty much an open book - good, bad and ugly. He is dedicated to making America healthy, and that dedication is a large part of his strength and determination to endure the slings and arrows from people who hate him for his views, and for working with Trump. He has earned my respect by the changes he has made in his life to be able to do the job he is doing. That doesn’t mean my agreement with his every view. May God bless, protect and guide him to be successful in accomplishing this much needed mission to make America healthy.

It must tear the democrats up when they rethink squeezing Bobby out of their midst...he could have won the election for them...he's very popular with MAGA...and most common sense people....just another mistake the democrats made...in a long line of fumbles...of course I'm ecstatic Bobby is with US...he's on the mark all the way...and I'm sure his daddy is proud of him...up there....

Exactamundo, #2 and#11. Fire every last HHS employee that signed that letter. They’re all deep-state pogues who think that THEY run HHS.
If they did that in private industry, they’d be frog-marched out the front door by the end of the day.

HIPPA has done nothing but make the lives of the average American more difficult. I can’t even make a Dr appt for my husband or ask about his test results without him having given permission for me to do so first. It was never like this and it’s completely unnecessary. The irony is this was one of the excuses to legalize “homosexual marriage” so that the homosexual “spouse” would be in on the medical records of their partner.
