The Jeffrey Epstein story was bound to become a circus, and the chances doubled once Democrats and the liberal media thought they could use it to take down President Donald Trump. The derangement exhibited by these people has long reached epic levels, to the point where rumor and speculation has replaced reality and facts.[snip] NBC News’ Hallie Jackson asked if any of the survivors saw Donald Trump do “doing anything inappropriate as it related to Jeffrey Epstein.” They all said no.

Comments:

NBC News’ Hallie Jackson leaving no doubt as to the main interest of news media in the Epstein case.

At some point a couple of somen said Epstein bragged about being friends with Trump. They noticed a photo of the two men on Epstein's desk. Somehow I don't envision Trump bragging about any friendship with Epstein. Epstein was a wannabe. A climber.

The question doesn't trouble me. It's the fact that NBC will not accept the simple, direct, straightforward answer. NBC asked the right question, they got the truth, but they will never drop it.

I didn't like it when Trump said the Epstein files were a hoax, but I think the only reason he said it was because the Democrats were trying to tie him into the case. They had four years to possibly "doctor" the evidence. We need to listen to these women's stories, not some left wing news organizations trying to suggest Trump's involvement.

A political dynasty may inherit Rep. Jerry Nadler’s (D-NY) soon-to-be empty seat, with former President John F. Kennedy’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, mulling a run. The 32-year-old Schlossberg told The New York Times that running for Nadler’s seat is “certainly a possibility.” As Breitbart News reported, Nadler announced he would be retiring after three decades in Congress, saying that the fallout from Joe Biden’s presidency indicated the time has come for generational change within the Democrat Party.

A lawyer for the victims and survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, Attorney Brad Edwards, told reporters that there is no such thing as the Epstein list. A reporter asks, "Do you believe Jeffrey Epstein had a list?" To whom Edwards replies: "Yeah, so there is not a list," as the survivors behind him nodded in agreement.[snip] while conspiracy theories continue to swirl about a so-called hidden “Epstein list,” Edwards made clear: there is no such document. The people with the most knowledge, Epstein's victims, agreed. What does exist, however, are people who knowingly helped Epstein carry out his abuse,

For years, Americans were told their only hope was to roll up their sleeves for Pfizer, Moderna, and the rest of the vaccine cartel. Trillions of dollars flowed into their coffers while dissenting doctors were silenced, families were divided, and countless workers lost their jobs under vaccine mandates. However, a peer-reviewed study out of Germany now shows that a cheap, decades-old nasal spray, azelastine, may do what the so-called ‘miracle’ experimental COVID jabs never accomplished: stop infection.

I haven’t written about it here at The American Spectator, at least that I can remember, but I’m becoming a subscriber to the theory that Donald Trump is the kryptonite to Saul Alinsky’s Superman. What I mean by that is the Alinskyite Left, which encompasses basically the whole of today’s Democrat Party ever since Barack Obama took it over in the mid-2000s, is built on a definite roster of political tactics and principles, and those tactics and principles are calibrated to defeat a certain type of opponent. Specifically, the corporatist Bush Republican blue-blood types who would buckle in the face of an impolite opposition

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a deadly warning to drug traffickers Wednesday as he shared details about a U.S. military strike that destroyed a Venezuelan drug boat in the Caribbean, killing 11 suspected Tren de Aragua narco-terrorists. "It's a new day. It's a different day, and… this is an activity the United States is not going to tolerate in our hemisphere," Hegseth said on "Fox & Friends." Venezuela's Minister of Communication and Information Freddy Nanez dismissed video of the attack as AI-generated, an accusation Hegseth dismissed.

China and Russia have greenlit a new cross-border natural gas pipeline in a major win for Russian President Vladimir Putin, though questions about who pays what and at what price remain unresolved. Once completed, the proposed Power of Siberia 2 pipeline could pump 50 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas per year into China—about 61 percent more than the 31 bcm delivered by the original Power of Siberia line in 2024. The new route would run through Mongolia from western Siberia's Yamal fields.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune wants GOP voters to believe that Senate Republicans have no ability to speed up confirmation of the more than 140 Trump nominees languishing in the upper chamber. But that isn’t entirely true. After returning from Congress’s month-long August vacation, Thune took to the Senate floor on Tuesday to pin the blame for the continued confirmation delay of the president’s appointees squarely on the shoulders of Senate Democrats. Verbally wagging his finger at his leftist colleagues, the majority leader said that “their historic obstruction cannot continue.”

It does not matter if individuals become naturalized citizens of the United States, so long as they retain the citizenship from wherever they came, they should not be allowed to serve in the American government. Either they renounce their foreign citizenship, or stop serving in our government. And, it is more preferable that they self-deport if they feel strongly about keeping the other citizenship. As founder John Jay expressed in 1787, “Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government.”

Cracker Barrel suffered a hit to sales after it unveiled its “woke” new logo – which faced heated backlash from customers online and even President Trump. Starting Aug. 19, the day after the logo was revealed, transactions slowed at Cracker Barrel restaurants, according to debit and credit card data from Bloomberg Second Measure, a data analytics provider. That sales decline gained steam through Aug. 26 as diners slammed the new logo – a modern, sleek reimagining that erased an illustration of beloved folksy farmer Uncle Herschel. Other full-service restaurants showed mixed results during the same period, in a sign that Cracker Barrel’s sudden downturn was due to brand damage, according to Bloomberg.

A federal appeals court ruled on Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump unlawfully invoked the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelans he alleged were part of a criminal gang. In a 2-1 decision, a three-judge panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued a preliminary injunction that blocked the Trump administration from removing a group of Venezuelans under the seldom-used 18th-century law. The Fifth Circuit is the first federal appeals court to rule directly on a March 14 presidential proclamation invoking the 1798 law to justify rapid deportations. Circuit Judge Leslie Southwick, writing for the two-judge majority, rejected the Trump administration's assertion that the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua

The surge in the couple’s wealth was first reported by the Washington Free Beacon on Monday. President Donald Trump has once again struck at the heart of the globalist machine, demanding federal racketeering charges against Democrat megadonor George Soros and his son, Alexander. For decades, Soros has funneled billions into organizations and movements that destabilize nations, bankroll violent protests, and manipulate democratic processes under the cover of “philanthropy.” His influence has stretched from American streets ─ funding BLM demonstrations, pro-Palestine agitators, disruptive protests in cities (like Los Angeles) — to violent uprisings and political meddling across Europe.
