The White House’s Bizarre Defense
of Chinese Foreign Students

Original Article

President Donald Trump recently announced that America will take in 600,000 Chinese foreign students, outraging much of MAGA. While the White House has clarified this is a continuation of existing policy, the move appears anathema to the spirit of America First, and prominent commentators criticized the president for suggesting it.

Comments:

Pres. Trump doubled the number of student visas for Chinese students who wish to attend American colleges and universities, very often taking seats STEM at our most elite universities. I have supported Trump throughout the last 10 years but am troubled by this agreement.

This rank, odious betrayal begs the question... why? More 4-D chess like the withholding of Epstein info?

I know personally that many of these Chinese students are here to steal information, and take it with them, when they return to China. You get the drift when they confront you with questions about positions and things far above their positions. They are very curious about things that are outside their lane.

Slavery was 'an existing policy' but antebellum Republicans condemned the 'continuation' of that. This is a serious miscue; I hope it is reversed. It's widely known that a disconcerting percentage of Chinese university students are here to steal knowledge and technology; and to spy for the CCP.

Stamp those papers with "no way, reject, declined, void, go home, leave us alone, nope, never again etc". I too want to know what the WH is thinking. I don't want them here anymore than 600,000 rejects from Somalia or other 3rd world countries. The Chinese come in smart and looking for ways to steal our intellectual property. I think they are dropping the ball on this one.

I used to be angry about Chinese students and industrial and technological theft, but considering the quality of their products and the research coming out of there, the situation may have reversed. A growing middle class is still a good thing. Flame away, I might join you. For example, where is Jack Ma? Sometimes I think there may be two of me.

This makes absolutely NO sense. We need to get ALL Chinese infiltrators, spies and intellectual property thieves OUT of the country. And teaching them our best science and tech in colleges is just STUPID on our part. China has been at war with us for 30+ years, and yet we refuse to stop helping them destroy us.

There's a double-whammy effect here that was noted by Steven Crowder yesterday on his rumble channel. Those extra ~300,000 Chinese students will be taking seats away from mostly caucasian males, because *most* universities are still operating as DEI mills in spite of PDJT's executive orders and financial pressure against it. So China will increase its well-trained STEM population at the expense of America losing the addition of 300,000 more STEM professionals... just because they happen to be white guys. I see nothing but upside for China in this... and nothing but downside for America. Nobody's perfect, Mr. President... not even you. This is a mistake and the policy should be reversed before our adversaries do further damage.

I don't like this either. From where I am I can tell you with 100% confidence that the Chinese are gaming the system. It's taking it's toll.

Because the vast majority of Chinese people are intelligent, polite and cause no trouble whatsoever, unlike those of other races, religions and nationalities who are readily accepted in this country. Even among the illegal immigrants, how many Chinese people killed, raped and burned American flags?

So, it's a concession in trade negotiations being packaged and sold as necessary to keep a handful of smaller colleges (of which most have never heard) from going out of business. We're not stupid, Mr. President - losing Bowdoin, Amherst, or Sonoma State wouldn't bring down the economy.

america last again; thieving communists 1st again--coming to an espionage and fraud state like ours again. there will be no mid term victory here; no promised mass deportations. we willl stay home ... and project the middle finger towards dc. the billionaires, and the visa scams. the summer polling has cratered --for lies surrounding epstein and failed promises of deportations. this state also is worried about the CDC crooks, in and out of congress , going after RFK and MAHA

#9: That's because the Chinese are not here on their own agency... they're agents of the Chicom government. Other (mostly illegal) aliens are, at best, agents of the Democrat Party via the contorted set of NGO cut-outs that used to funnel USAID money to them. But even those illegals have shown that they have their own agency... as I doubt most Democrats had the murder and mayhem committed by them as part of the Democrat plan.

The conditions are right for confession. Meghan, relaxing in a cozy chair, gazes over all that is climate-controlled and high-ceilinged and sun-dappled and perfectly marshmallowy, and hers. An invisible hand has lit a Soho House–branded rose-water candle (the founder, Nick Jones, is a friend from “long before I met Harry,” she says), and that scent fills the air, mingling with the gentle tones of a flamenco-inflected guitar floating from a speaker. Then, in the lull in conversation, Meghan turns to me and leans forward to ask in a conspiratorial hush, “Do you want to know a secret?

Since the previous century I’ve been articulating in the public arena an array of interconnecting ideas about how the world works. For example, I tend to suspect that racial differences in achievement in 2021 have more to do with nature and nurture, with culture and human biodiversity, than with unspecifiable malevolence on the part of white men as dictated by the theory of systemic racism. (Note that I don’t put very much effort into telling you how I think the world should work, just how it does work. At least, the latter’s testable.)

Dan Sullivan (R-AK) called on Kerry to resign during a speech on the Senate floor. It's become clear...that our adversaries, whether Beijing or Iran, like it when John Kerry is in charge of foreign policy and national security. Why? Because they know how to use him to their advantage," Sullivan said.

The sewage in New England's exclusive Nantucket retreat is full of cocaine, according to local authorities, who this summer began testing it to monitor potential drug use in a popular summer getaway for the rich and powerful. "During COVID, a lot of these communities, and most communities, decided that it was important for them to start testing the water to see if there were any spikes in COVID in the region." said Randolph Rice, a Maryland attorney and legal analyst. "But what Nantucket has now decided to do as of the beginning of the summer is to actually start testing for other types of substances, particularly drugs, nicotine and other items

the Decline of Black America

The black community’s disengagement from ordinary acts of civic responsibility is harming America as a whole, but mostly, it’s harming blacks. To save their communities, blacks need to reengage with what was once normative polite conduct across American society. To appreciate this point, consider the tales told by abandoned shopping carts and litter. [snip] Here’s the thing: Shopping carts and litter are just the most benign signs of conscientiousness and citizenship. The lack of such betrays itself in far more malignant ways as well, and we’re seeing that across the country, particularly in videos: Spirit Airlines airport counters. Six Flags parks. Carnival Cruise Line ships.

A couple of days ago, Beege wrote a great article (redundant, I know) about the 14-year-old girl in Scotland who defended her sister against a migrant who threatened her. She was arrested because the tools she used to scare away the predator were a knife and an axe. A 14-year-old girl in Scotland has been charged with possession of a knife after viral footage showed her and another minor being approached and filmed by at least one foreign man. The girl brandishes a knife and an axe before walking away from the scene. The incident occurred on Saturday evening in the Lochee area of Dundee. "She will be reported to the relevant authorities,"

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) joined other Democrats in mocking the idea of prayer in the wake of the mass shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis this week, noting that the children were praying at the time. In a post on X, responding to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s claim that “prayer works,”, Newsom said: “There children were literally praying as they got shot at,” implying that prayer does not work. Democrats have long attacked the idea of offering “thoughts and prayers” for the victims and their families in the wake of mass shootings, arguing that political action is needed, particularly gun control legislation.

NEW YORK - A divided U.S. appeals court ruled on Friday that most of Donald Trump's tariffs are illegal, undercutting the Republican president's use of the levies as a key international economic policy tool. The court allowed the tariffs to remain in place through October 14 to give the Trump administration a chance to file an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court. Trump has made tariffs a pillar of U.S. foreign policy in his second term, using them to exert political pressure and renegotiate trade deals with countries that export goods to the United States. The tariffs have given the Trump administration leverage to extract economic concessions

During Trump’s second term, Mexico has only seen 86,017 deportations. “We have to say that there are fewer migrants entering,”
