U.S. Attorney General for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro announced that an Indiana woman was arrested in D.C., charged with two federal crimes after she allegedly threatened to assassinate President Donald Trump. In a video posted on Monday on X, Pirro talked about the arrest in D.C. on Saturday, August 16, of Nathalie Rose Jones, 50, of Lafayette, Indiana, in D.C. Authorities said Jones traveled from New York to D.C., where she was taken into custody after she made a "series of threats on social media in which she threatened to kill President Trump."
