How Trump Broke the Democratic Party

President Trump has had a very productive second term, but according to Victor Davis Hanson, Trump’s biggest accomplishment isn’t legislation; it’s that he shattered the Democratic Party’s façade—and left it flailing. “Donald Trump’s greatest legacy, he broke the Democratic Party and he turned it. ... He exposed it for what it was,” Hanson explained in an interview. “It was a bicoastal elite party with a bunch of billionaires who spend lavishly, and a bunch of subsidized poor, and a professional class that feels frustrated.” Hanson described the party’s urban base as young, well-paid professionals struggling in sky-high-cost blue cities. “That’s what the Mamdani constituency is. Frustrated, young prof—white professionals,” he said. Meanwhile

Trump has not broken the Democrat party. Nothing will break the Democrat party because they refuse to listen or use their brain to see what the Democrats are doing to them.

Trump has exposed all the corruption, Democrat and Rino. That is why they hate him. As he says, he is just in the way, because they hate Trump supporters as well.

I don't want them to change. They have truly become the opposition party...pro-crime, pro illegal aliens, pro boys beating up girls in sports and invading their bathrooms and locker rooms, pro vote fraud, pro no bail release of violent predators, pro trans nonsense etc. etc. What's not to like?

Then why do so many articles here lately warn us of the possibility, if not probability, that democrats will re-take the House in '26, and spend the next two years serially impeaching Trump?

On Friday night's Real Time, HBO host Bill Maher called out Democrats like former Vice President Kamala Harris and Bill and Hillary Clinton for refusing to appear on his show despite the fact that he voted for them. Just before the scolding he was making fun of how Donald Trump had an employee nicknamed "Big Balls," and said it's like Gov. Gavin Newsom had an aide named "Perfect Hair." Then he added: "Hey, at least Gavin comes here. People ask me all the time: Why haven't you ever had Hillary or Bill Clinton on? Why didn't you have Kamala on during the last campaign? WASHINGTON — President Trump has committed in principle to providing “security guarantees” to Ukraine to safeguard its frontier from Russia following a possible peace deal, The Post has confirmed. The precise contours of those security guarantees, which were discussed by Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Anchorage on Friday, remain unclear, however. Trump has not committed to sending US troops and previously ruled out NATO membership for Ukraine. The security may amount to a European-led initiative with America’s support, a source familiar with the talks said.

Early this morning, President Trump debriefed us and President Zelenskyy following his meeting with the Russian President in Alaska on 15 August 2025. Leaders welcomed President Trump’s efforts to stop the killing in Ukraine, end Russia’s war of aggression, and achieve just and lasting peace. As President Trump said ‘there’s no deal until there’s a deal’. As envisioned by President Trump, the next step must now be further talks including President Zelenskyy, whom he will meet soon. We are also ready to work with President Trump and President Zelenskyy towards a trilateral summit with European support.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he agreed with Donald Trump's claim that the war in Ukraine would not have ever even begun if he had not lost the 2020 election and was serving as president when the carnage began, instead of former President Joe Biden. "I can confirm that," Putin said at the tail-end of a press conferece that took place Friday evening after the pair met for a summit at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. Trump made the assertion multiple times on the campaign trail, and continued saying it after he took back the White House. Trump has faced pushback on the claim,

US President Donald Trump's actions have brought the end of the war in Ukraine "closer than ever before", Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has said. His statement comes despite the fact that Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin failed to reach a deal on a ceasefire at a summit in Alaska on Friday. He also said the "path to peace in Ukraine" cannot be decided without Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and that the UK's "unwavering support" will continue as long as it takes. The highly-anticipated meeting between Trump and Putin had been pitched as an important step towards peace in Ukraine, but no concrete

Alec Baldwin is afraid. Very, very afraid. The actor is riven with fears for the future of the U.S. in the wake of Donald Trump’s successful push to increase federal law enforcement across Washington, DC, embracing the conspiracy theory that the president will use any means to “deflect from his inadequacy” and take control of whatever he can. In a video uploaded to his official TikTok page, Baldwin suggested Trump would not stop at D.C. before going on to list cities across the U.S. and sporting institutions like the NFL and NBL, opining whether Trump was going to seize and “take them over” too: What’s gonna happen next?

A federal appeals court panel has cleared the way for the Trump administration to largely dismantle the work of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, lifting a lower-court judge’s injunction that had preserved the agency’s structure — and barred mass layoffs — for months. The 2-1 ruling, authored by Judge Gregory Katsas, said a series of legal defects in the lawsuit brought by CFPB employees and the NAACP doomed the case and required the district court judge’s blockade to be lifted. Katsas, a Trump appointee, said the fatal flaw was the broad challenge against what the employees described as a master plan to shutter the agency altogether.

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska — President Donald Trump said he and Vladimir Putin didn’t reach a deal to end Russia’s war in Ukraine after meeting on Friday — despite Putin saying they had come to “an understanding” — as the two leaders offered scant details on what was discussed while heaping praise on each other. In brief remarks as they shared a stage after meeting for about 2 ½ hours in Alaska, Putin said he and Trump had reached an “understanding” on Ukraine and warned Europe not to “torpedo the nascent progress.” But Trump then said, “There’s no deal until there’s a deal” and said he planned to speak with

A U.S. district court decided on Wednesday to strike down a 2017 federal regulation that exempted religious employers from the Affordable Care Act’s mandate for employer-sponsored health insurance to cover the cost of contraception. If the ruling holds, religious non-profit organizations such as the Little Sisters of the Poor, the defendants in the case, may now be required to file for an accommodation process with the government that still maintains employees’ access to contraception without the religious organization having to pay. For-profit employers would have access to no religious exemption from the mandate whatsoever.

United States District Court for the District of Columbia Chief Judge James Boasberg is well known to this audience for ordering illegal aliens to remain in the United States despite the Trump administrations clearly lawful effort to deport them under the Aliens Enemies Act. Yet, he also has an important connection to the Russiagate hoax that reveals the scope of the lawfare superstructure that is trying to dismantle MAGA, which I document in my book Breaking the Law. Just like the rest of the Russiagate conspirators, Boasberg ought to be investigated for it.

Scott Janssen’s heart was racing. He took shallow breaths. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing, but he tried to hide his shock. It was a crisp autumn day, and Janssen was visiting Buddy, an elderly client, at his small brick home on a dead-end street in Durham, North Carolina. Buddy had just lost May, his wife of 40 years. She was bed-ridden and had suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. Janssen, a hospice social worker, had been visiting the couple for nine months. The response drew huge applause from attendees, including Catsimatidis. The Gristedes supermarket owner later told The Post Mamdani’s plan would fail miserably, pointing to failures at a Kansas City, Mo.-owned grocery store that closed Monday after years of being a huge money pit for taxpayers and being plagued by rampant shoplifting and empty shelves.
