New York City: Vote for Sliwa (But Prepare

New York, New York! It’s a helluva town, and they are in big trouble. The residents of the Big Apple might need to follow the example of Snake Plissken and Escape from New York before the onetime premier American urbania turns into a heartless, hateful, surveillance-state dystopia! In 2021, the voters placed their hopes in mayor Republican-turned-Democrat Eric Adams. He was a police officer, sounded off on improving public safety, and he didn’t give off the same woke Communist craziness of his blah-blah predecessor Bill de Blasio.

NYC is nothing more than a delivery point for OPM. That's "other people's money" honey. All of those NYC'ers with their hand out will vote for whichever scammer will give them the most OPM. Sliwa has all the chance of a snowball in hell of winning this election. It's time for him to move out to a place he'd be appreciated.

Ever since I can remember fly over country has been treated like the scum New Yorkers believe we are. They treat their druggies and prostitutes with more respect. I think if you asked us most of us would say that we don't give a rat's ass about your future problems. Millions upon millions will be standing there on day one with their hands out waiting for the muslim to put magic money in them. I hope your "free bus rides" is worth all the manure Mamdani is about to shove on you. Trite but true. Nothing is free. You have no idea what is coming your way. It will be like a tsunami. Now let's talk about that governor of yours.

Once upon a time, George Will was a conservative. I'm not sure what he is anymore after his TDS drove him to vote for Joe Biden. Even if he didn't want to vote for Donald Trump, voting for Biden seems like a denial of everything he was before. It's certainly not a conservative position. But what he said on Friday on HBO's "Real Time" with Bill Maher was in some ways even more surprising than that. Maher and Will were talking about Democrat NYC mayoral race nominee, Zohran Mamdani. Maher went hard against Mamdani, saying he says "the things that communists say.

Since Donald Trump has begun the push to deport illegal aliens, we’ve seen stories about families being broken up, and people losing their homes or being deported without having been arrested for crimes other than illegal entry. The stories are framed sympathetically to wring American hearts, but they don’t change the debate because you can’t run a country based on emotional anecdotal narratives. Still, that’s exactly what Democrats want the country to do. They’re suggesting that most of the 40 million illegal aliens they invited into the country over the last quarter century are doctors, engineers, or saints, and, therefore,

German finance minister Lars Klingbeil wrapped up his visit to Washington last week. His meeting with U.S. treasury secretary Scott Bessent centered on the EU-US trade deal. A dose of European moralism, of course, wasn’t missing. It was a meeting of political opposites. On one side: Scott Bessent, Wall Street veteran and committed to cutting America’s debt through radical fiscal consolidation, deregulation, tax cuts, and shrinking the role of the state. On the other: Lars Klingbeil, steward of the largest debt program in German history, embracing state intervention as economic salvation. More than just a polite first encounter, this was a friendly but stark ideological clash.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has sent the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) a request for a treasure trove of documents related to the ongoing federal investigation into the Obama administration’s Russiagate operation, The Federalist has learned. According to a letter to ODNI senior adviser Paul McNamara, which was obtained by The Federalist, the DOJ has requested from ODNI a wide array of documents about the Obama administration’s 2016 and 2017 attempts to frame then-President-elect Donald Trump as an agent of Russia who stole the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton.

House Republicans subpoenaed nearly a dozen former federal officials and politicians — including Bill and Hillary Clinton — as well as records from the Department of Justice on Tuesday amid an expanding probe into the deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The officials — including former FBI Directors James Comey and Robert Mueller as well as six ex-US attorneys general — were compelled to testify before the House Oversight Committee. Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) announced the move days after DOJ officials interviewed Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence in a federal prison for conspiring to sexually abuse young girls.

Let’s take a tour of the 13th congressional district in Illinois. It starts in East St. Louis and then moves steadily north. By the time it gets to Springfield, home of Abraham Lincoln, about 90 miles away, it takes a sharp turn to the east, reaching Decatur and finally Champaign, itself about 80 miles away from Springfield. It’s a jagged, narrow strip of territory with no obvious rhyme or reason as it traverses six counties. It’s less a congressional district than a road trip, and bears a resemblance to the original gerrymander, a long, salamander-like state Senate district in Massachusetts in 1812. The only point of the new 13th district lines,

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to order a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip to force Hamas to free the hostages, according to local reports. The expansion of the war would see the military, which already controls about 75% of Gaza, take over the remaining areas and conduct operations where the hostages are believed to be held, the Jerusalem Post reported. The move was reportedly made without the input of the Israeli military’s chief of staff Eyal Zamir — with Netanyahu instructing him to fall in line or resign, according to the internal memo sent out.

At the core of The Atlantic’s unnecessarily long profile on loud Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett is the argument that, “when the Republicans go low, the Democrats should meet them there.” As Rachel Jeantel so famously put it, “That’s real retarded, sir.” The notion that Democrats have for too long shown excessive restraint or pitched themselves to voters with a naive intellectualism while being punched in the mouth by brute Republicans is a hysterical myth, one that only persists because the media that helped create it continue to perpetuate it.

In a stunning firsthand account, a whistleblower has exposed how senior intelligence officials under Barack Obama manipulated analysis, silenced dissent, and strong-armed subordinates to produce a politically loaded assessment linking Donald Trump to Russian election interference. According to the whistleblower, senior intelligence officials, including then-DNI James Clapper and CIA Director John Brennan, pressured analysts to endorse conclusions they didn’t agree with and marginalized anyone who raised objections. The now-infamous January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment, the whistleblower says, was crafted to match a predetermined political narrative: that Russia interfered in the 2016 election specifically to help Donald Trump.

The US military is preparing to activate hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, DC as a part of President Trump’s sweeping federal crackdown on crime in the nation’s capital, according to authorities. Trump has yet to make a final decision about the activation of federal troops, but the National Guard is currently readying to deploy them, two US officials with knowledge of the operation confirmed to Reuters. The preparation comes as 120 FBI agents from across the country have already begun patrolling DC streets overnight and backing up area cops at carjacking hot spots, despite many lacking local patrol work training, The Washington Post reported.

A pair of Texas friends died less than three months apart after ingesting pills laced with a dangerous new synthetic opioid, and now their mothers are begging US officials to sound the alarm on the little-known drug that’s up to 43 times more lethal than fentanyl. The young men both died this year after swallowing different pills secretly tainted with the deadly, often Narcan-resistant opioids known as nitazenes, which have begun seeping into the US at an alarming rate. Lucci Reyes-McCallister, 22, died January 26 near Houston, Texas, after taking a pill labeled as Xanax that was actually laced with N-pyrrolidino protonitazene, an emerging form of nitazene.

On today’s episode of ‘Dems Doing Performative Nonsense,’ we have leftists locking themselves up. The protests against everything related to President Donald Trump continue with Democrats voluntarily placing themselves in a cage to prove some kind of point about the cruelty of Alligator Alcatraz. Leftist protesters formed a “human chain” to lament deported illegal aliens and social media can’t stop talking about it. Not because the 8-mile chain, which took place in Columbus, Ohio, was an effective message that changed the hearts and minds of pro-immigration law enforcement proponents, but because the people who made up the protest all had a lot in common. Watch: [Tweet, video] For a party that complains about how old and white Republicans are, this protest looked an awful lot like a retirement home ad. Local newspaper The Ohio Dispatch reported that “thousands” attended the “Hands Along High Street” protest to stand against President Donald Trump’s administration and its policies.

Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has issued advice warning that it “may not be appropriate” to post pictures of shoplifters, the Times of London reported. This is more than redecorating — it’s a statement about accountability and honesty in presidential legacies. By moving the portrait, Trump delivers a quiet but clear verdict on one of the most corrupt

It’s hardly a secret that the Democrats are in the midst of an existential crisis. They are leaderless, fractious, broke, and more unpopular with the voters than they have been in decades. Yet, as their antics have demonstrated during the first seven months of the second Trump administration, they don’t connect these calamities to their bad policies and worse execution. Instead, they attribute their ills to malevolent forces threatening “our democracy” and see themselves as its saviors. How will they rescue the republic? Former Clinton advisor James Carville laid out a blueprint last Wednesday.
