The runner-up in the 2024 U.S. presidential election won’t be running for California‘s top job next year, but Kamala Harris isn’t ruling out a 2028 White House bid yet. After months of speculation and impressive polling, the former Vice President has made it official: She’s not going to be on the ballot to lead the Golden State. “After deep reflection, I’ve decided that I will not run for Governor in this election,” Harris said Wednesday. Earlier this year, around the time of the Oscars, Harris told friends and deep-pocketed donors that she would make a final decision on running for

The scandal-scarred independents running for New York City mayor stand little chance against frontrunner Zohran Mamdani — even if the rivals team up against the socialist candidate, a shocking new poll found.
Mamdani, a Queens assemblyman and Democratic nominee, is projected to handily win the November general election with 50% of likely voters in the latest survey, released Tuesday by Zenith Research/Public Progress Solutions.
Ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who has decided to continue his comeback tour after his embarrassing June primary loss to 33-year-old Mamdani, came in a distant second at 22%, while the GOP nominee Curtis Sliwa pulled 13%.

While most of the country has erupted in outrage after an angry mob savagely assaulted two white people in downtown Cincinnati over the weekend, one prominent local politician has the exact opposite reaction to the story.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, a group of black individuals smacked around a bald white guy at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Elm Street in downtown Cincy and beat him so bad that he could not get up.
Then, a white woman got slugged by one of the cowards. Her head slammed down onto the concrete, and she lost consciousness. Blood was seen coming out of her mouth.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rick Crawford (R-AR) have dropped a political nuke on Washington: Smoking-gun thumb drives containing unreviewed evidence in the Hillary Clinton email scandal have been sitting in an FBI office collecting dust for over SIX YEARS. The letter, addressed directly to FBI Director Kash Patel, demands that the unevaluated materials — which include sensitive intelligence, foreign communications, and damning evidence related to the Clinton Foundation and Barack Obama — be immediately reviewed and exposed to the American people.

A radioactive wasp nest has been discovered near a former nuclear weapon manufacturing facility in South Carolina.
The nest was found by workers at the Savannah River Site in Aiken County, according to a report from the Department of Energy.
According to reports, the contaminated nest was found on July 3, just before 2 p.m., by Radiological Control Operations workers during routine inspections.
Located on a stanchion near a tank in the F-Area tank farm, the nest registered a staggering 100,000 disintegrations per minute (dpm), a level described as “moderately high” radiation.
Workers promptly sprayed the nest to eliminate the wasps, which were then bagged and disposed of as radiological waste.

A Virginia councilman was set on fire in an apparent personal attack on Wednesday, authorities said.
The suspect, Shotsie Michael Buck Hayes, allegedly confronted Danville City Councilman Lee Vogler, 38, at his office, at Showcase Magazine, and covered him with a flammable liquid, the Danville Police Department said. Both went outside where Hayes allegedly set Vogler on fire, police said. Vogler has been taken to a hospital in unknown condition, police said. Showcase Magazine said he sustained “serious burn injuries.”

The House is in recess now, but that hasn't stopped silly Democrats like Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) from lame attacks on Republicans and President Donald Trump. It's all they know how to do since, as former Democratic operative Dan Turrentine noted, they don't have any agenda.
He posted videos doing things like swimming in a pool or lifting weights saying that he should be working and lowering costs for people. (Snip) Swalwell was roundly mocked on X. Fox's Greg Gutfeld had a little fun with him, as our sister site Twitchy reported. Gutfeld said Swalwell's videos gave "the ick."
That mocking upset Swalwell, who then decided to embarrass himself more.

On Wednesday, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll ordered West Point to terminate the employment of President Biden’s recently hired censorship czar.
The revelation came following a now unavailable Tuesday announcement from the academy that Jen Easterly, the former director of the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), would be serving as the new Robert F. McDermott Distinguished Chair within the school’s Department of Social Sciences. Easterly graduated from West Point in 1990.Easterly led CISA from July 2021 to January 2025, a time period during which she oversaw the agency’s efforts to censor Americans.

The U.S. economy under President Donald Trump exceeded expectations and grew at an annualized rate of three percent in the second quarter, according to Commerce Department data released on Wednesday.
The Commerce Department report found the American economy, as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP), made the gains from April through June. GDP is a measure of a basket of goods and serves to measure growth throughout the U.S. economy.
The three percent figure exceeds the Dow Jones estimate at 2.3 percent and reversed the 0.5 percent decline the first quarter of the year experienced.

On Tuesday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” Breitbart News economics editor John Carney talked about pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Carney said, “I’d say pharmaceuticals [are] the weakest spot so far. We’re entirely reliant on the rest of the world for pharmaceuticals, from everything from like over-the-counter things that…should be really easy to make…to more high-tech drugs, we’re severely dependent on foreign imports.”
He added that while people say we can import from the E.U., “What happens if the E.U. doesn’t like our Israel, for instance, and they say, okay, we’re not going to sell you your statins, right?” And India could do likewise over tariff policy or South Korea policy.

Once upon a time in America, taxpayers were scandalized to learn the Pentagon paid $400 for a toilet seat. It was front-page news. Congressional hearings were convened. Outrage flowed like prune juice at the Biden White House breakfast buffet.
Fast forward to 2025, and no one bats an eye over spending more than that for just a toilet.
In fact, the federal government under the Biden administration set aside a whopping $7.5 billion in cold, hard, debased American currency—and to date, we’ve got a grand total of 384 E.V. chargers to show for it.
And here’s the twist: hardly anyone is shocked.

A WNBA game between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries was interrupted on Tuesday night after a bizarre object was thrown on to the floor late in the fourth quarter.
The Valkyries had rebounded a miss with about one minute left in the game when the object flew from the stands and down onto the court. The object bounced a few times away from the ballhandler and then toward the near sideline. The object appeared to be a lime green sex toy. The broadcast showed the object on the floor for a brief moment before everyone realized what it was.
"Inappropriate. Get them out of here, whoever it is,"
