Between the economy booming, illegal aliens being punted back over the border, and Iran getting neutered like some kid named Kaden whose wine woman Munchausen mommy needs attention, as well as the president not being a senile eggplant, the future looks good for the Republicans in 2028.[snip] But there is one guy who worries me. There’s one guy who’s doing things differently, who seems to be aiming for the empty “I’m not crazy and I don’t hate you” lane to the nomination.

All true…..but trust me—-if the Bay Area were a Republican stronghold, he would be a Republican. There is zero traction for political advancement with an R behind your name. Indian community is huge in his district and he has the connections. He put his finger in the air and figured out the direction.

He seems like your regular commie leftist to me; I don't care how nice he sounds while spouting his insane views. I believe more people are paying attention to what a candidate says. Kamala was so in your face dumb and didn't say anything of substance that people's aim to listen to what a candidate has to say rather than be told or sold. When I say people, I mean sane people. Crazy leftists and ignorants don't count. The author's reference is about conservatives being worried. California maybe, but nationally, nah.

"He doesn't hate us" is small comfort, considering that the man is still a commie. Kurt Schlichter is better than this.

Perhaps, but he is going to have to push a lot of long time Dems aside to get to the nomination.

Another candidate I've seen is my governor Andy Beshear from Kentucky. He's nice looking and folksy but he's pretty much progressive in just about anything I can think of. The only good thing I can say about him, is that he doesn't hate businesses and has actively courted them to relocate. GE is moving to Kentucky soon. Still, he's quite the prog and really flexed his power during covid.

No. He lacks the charm and charisma of the democrats' finest. No gel in his hair, no foreign accent, no wild eyes and no big stupid ideas, just a bunch of the usual small ones. We are over being worried about democrats.

Listening to his interview on the Iran air strikes, he sounds like every other lefty shill out there..."War Powers Act!!!! Impeach Trump!!!" But if you look at these same people when Obama was killing people across the globe (even an American citizen) with drone strikes, it was {crickets} from them. They have no moral authority on this or any other subject. I don't care how "nice" he sounds.

I agree with Kurt S. Khanna sounds great and looks great, but so did Obongo, and don’t forget that. He is still a Lefty, and remember, NEVER vote for Democrat!

Well, the Indian migrants to Loudown County here in Virginia ruined it along with the growth of federal employees. We don't need any legal immigration. Just stop it.

I was in his district when I was in CA. I remember his early campaign literature. He almost sounded like a Republican and never stated his political affiliation. However, once in office, his conservative clothing came off and he's a true Blue (pun intended) DemoRoid.

Never heard of him. We'll see if this latest "hero of the left" will gain any traction. Remember Bloomberg is a billionaire and got about 1% of the vote outside of NYC. This guy could be a similar flash in the pan.

They want another Obama. Someone that is a committed lefty with no track record that the media can cover up their true intentions. A smooth talker. Can't be a straight white male.

Ever now and then the news media displays a sense of humor. Such as when they said Senator Raphael Warnock of Georgia might be a candidate for POTUS. Yea. And I might marry Taylor Swift.

While I agree with #8 (never vote for a Democrat), as a Californian, I was already familiar with Mr. Khanna and I actually watched Kurt's interview of him! He is unquestionably impressive, and I do appreciate Kurt's observations and warnings. Heed them, as they are well observed!!

Ro Khanna was elected in a district that votes 80% democrat. There's no daylight between his views/votes and Bernie Sanders. Like 0bama he has cultivated the admiration of enough silicon valley bigwigs to assure his campaigns will be well-financed.

Khanna kind of reminds me of former democrat NY Senator Moynihan in terms of demeanor, tone, and ability to articulate his beliefs without coming off as a total anti-American lunatic; however, on the vast left- right continuum, Moynihan was a little pinko, Khanna is full blown, pegged the the farthest left. Yes, he is dangerous. I believe what the author was saying by the doesn't hate us remark, is that voters more towards the middle of the political spectrum and those with low levels of political awareness, might be tempted to vote for him.

Khanna aside, I love how Kurt described the Democrat nominees. Too funny! Just put a big L on their foreheads.

Sounds like the danger for the unwary voter is in NOT focusing on what this guy says, BUT on how he says it. Another variation of the metaphor warning that a snake is still a snake, and you knew he was snake when you took him in. PDJT hasn’t shied away from calling a snake a snake. Our potential 2028 candidates have shown themselves skilled in doing the same in their own way.
