Israel’s military headquarters may have been struck after Iran’s Islamic Republic unleashed a barrage of missiles on central Tel Aviv late Friday night. Alarming footage shared on social media — and verified by The New York Times — showed a strike slamming into an area that houses several military sites, including the Israel Defense Forces’ main command center. The dramatic clips captured interceptor missiles firing into the sky moments before a blinding flash, a thunderous boom, and the explosion of an incoming warhead.

In Viet Nam we had radar that picked up the origin point and trajectory of incoming Rockets (88mm). The computer would check the origin to be sure it wasn't in civilian areas (and a lot of them were), for those that were not the computer connected to the radar would fire a 105 howitzer back to the point of origin and blow up whatever was still there. I have to wonder why the Israelis don't have a similar system to target the point of origin of Iran's Mistles. At least know where the mistles are coming from so they can be targeted immediately.

Who knows what to believe. Just because some source claims he apparently just happened to be standing close enough to witness a leader's death does not make it so. The only thing we know for certain is that missiles are flying and the Israelis now have a very good idea of how successful their air defense system is and where any weaknesses lie. We have absolutely no way of knowing how much of the coverage we are getting is factual and how much is propaganda.

An aviation expert believes the co-pilot on Air India flight AI171 pulled the plane's wing flaps instead of retracting the landing gear, causing the plane to crash. Commercial airline pilot and YouTuber Captain Steve, who analyzes plane crashes and close calls, gave his theory on the incident which killed 241 people on board. The London-bound 787 Dreamliner began losing height moments after take-off and crashed in a fireball over a residential area in the Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Some Experts Think Iran Was Close to a
Nuclear Bomb

As if things weren't tense enough already, some experts think that Iran may have been closer to assembling at least a primitive nuclear warhead than previously thought. That is, to put it mildly, disconcerting. Israel's recent attacks on Iran have been mostly aimed at destroying Iran's nuclear program along with un-aliving their senior military leaders, and if Israel had such intelligence, that may have led to the decision to attack.[snip] We should note that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, speaking on behalf of the U.S. intelligence community, is more skeptical.

The Mossad on Friday released stunning and rare video footage of its co-lead role with the air force in Israel's preemptive strike on Iran's ballistic missiles and air defenses. Three videos show the Mossad targeting ballistic missile targets, air defense targets, and general preparations for the attacks (with the agents' faces blurred out.) From the perspective of the videos, it appears the Mossad used drones from inside Iran to attack various targets.[snip] Although far more information has been publicized about the IDF's actions, these videos give readers a rare front seat into what normally are entirely clandestine operations that the Mossad does not even admit to.

Louisiana doesn’t do everything right. Senator Bill Cassidy remaining in office is a clear depiction of that. In light of the insane protests we’ve seen from the far left over the past week (the same far left that has been fighting to keep illegal aliens from deportation), the Louisiana Freedom Caucus sent out a strong reminder to citizens of the state—essentially reminding them that if they feel threatened by protestors while in their car, they can legally run them over.

The threat by Iran comes as negotiations between the U.S. and Iran over the fate of Iran’s nuclear program continue, with the U.S. insisting Iran give up enrichment to prevent attainment of nuclear weapons or face military attacks on its nuclear facilities by either the U.S. or Israel.

The left-wing Congressional Hispanic Caucus is demanding an investigation into law enforcement officers who removed and handcuffed Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) from a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) press conference after he became disruptive. The caucus is also demanding DHS Secretary Kristi Noem’s resignation. “Sen. Alex Padilla was shoved, tackled, handcuffed, and detained while attempting to fulfill his constitutional duties,” Caucus chairman Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) said in a statement: That in itself would be a scandal, but the assailants were staff working for Kristi Noem, the secretary of Homeland Security. This escalation is dangerous and unacceptable. The Congressional Hispanic Caucus stands with our brother, Alex Padilla, a leader who represents all Californians.

“Mass Deportations Now.” It wasn’t just a slogan on signs — it was a rallying cry that galvanized millions of voters. The promise was the restoration of American sovereignty through the removal of all illegal aliens — not just the violent ones. Americans understand that national unity requires assimilation, and assimilation is impossible when millions pour in illegally and remain indefinitely. The message that won the election was not “Mass Deportations, But Only For The Worst Offenders.” But on Thursday President Donald Trump posted the following on Truth Social: “Our great Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking

The Interior Department plans to remove or cover up all “inappropriate content” at national parks and sites by Sept. 17 and is asking the park visitors to report any “negative” information about past or living Americans, according to internal documents. It’s a move that historians worry could lead to the erasure of history involving gay and transgender figures, civil rights struggles and other subjects deemed improper. Staff at the National Park Service were instructed to post QR codes and signs at all 433 national parks, monuments and historic sites asking visitors to flag anything they think should be changed, from a plaque to a film at a visitor’s center.

Former vice presidential candidate Tim Walz has a longstanding affinity for Communist China. He has visited there more than 30 times, and chose China as the venue for his wedding in 1994. Walz has expressed his admiration for communism, and he had a Chinese girlfriend who almost certainly was an agent of the CCP. So it shouldn’t be surprising that, interviewed by Neera Tanden of the Center for American Progress, he unleashed a couple of howlers. Here, he expresses contempt for the military parade scheduled for tomorrow. Walz will skip the event, choosing to participate instead in an anti-Trump rally. And he hopes it rains on the soldiers: (X).

Count on Democrats to put a face to Republican efforts to cut federal benefits, rolling out potential victims who elicit the most sympathy so the media can broadcast their plight to the nation. But Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s choice to counter a significant GOP cut to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) was not exactly from central casting. SNAP helps feed more than 40 million low-income Americans, which is a crisis all to itself that DC conveniently overlooks, and Republicans are advocating for nearly $300 billion in cuts through 2034, which includes pushing some of the costs down to states.

IDF Spokesman Effie Defrin on Friday morning told a press conference that Iran had launched over 100 drones toward Israel in recent hours. He also noted that over 200 IDF aircraft have attacked over 100 targets in Iran with over 330 munitions. He did not say when they would reach Israel, but in April 2025, it took such drones several hours. During that Iranian attack and another attack by Tehran on Israel in October 2024, Israel had a wide alliance of US, Brits, French, and other countries helping to defend it.
