Rosie O’Donnell took to social media on Monday to promote a “recount” of President Donald Trump’s landslide victory over former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
The comedian shared a post to her Instagram Story from social media influencer Joe Braxton, who claimed that Tesla CEO Elon Musk “hacked and stole” the 2024 presidential election in his demand for a “recount.”
“We Demand A Recount!” the online influencer exclaimed in the caption of his Instagram post, which was shared by O’Donnell.
Braxton went on to bizarrely alleged that “Elon hacked and stole the election, then created a department

ATLANTA — The 2025 school year in Georgia will start in August and this time, it’s bringing back an older lesson plan for its newer students. Starting in August, third through fifth graders will have lessons on how to write in cursive, also called script. When students return to classrooms after summer break ends, the Georgia Department of Education will begin cursive writing courses for public school students. The instruction was added as part of the updated English Language Arts Standards curriculum for the 2025-2026.
As part of the move to teach cursive again, the GaDOE put out a guidance

The Great Land's senior Senator, Princess Lisa Murkowski (R, supposedly - AK), is in the news again, this time suggesting that she might consider bailing on the Republican Party and becoming an Independent. That's not surprising to those of us here in the Great Land who have followed Princess Lisa's career; I'm not enamored of the term RINO (Republican in Name Only) as I think it's far too liberally (hah) applied, but in this case, it certainly applies. As an example, I might point out our last election, in which Princess Lisa tossed Democrat Mary Peltola some props at the cost of Republican Nick Begich III, who ended up winning.

The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it.
The assessment, which has not been previously reported, was produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm. It is based on a battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command in the aftermath of the US strikes, one of the sources said.

President Trump on Monday evening announced that Israel and Iran have agreed to a total ceasefire in 6 hours.
“CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE! It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED! Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World.

When people think of American commerce, they think of New York. And when people think of American Jewish culture, they also think of New York, which has the largest Jewish community of any city in the world outside of Israel. But if the polls are correct, New York may soon have a mayor who is an avowed Marxist and an antisemite. (And yes, I equate anti-Zionism directly with antisemitism.)Tomorrow is voting day in the New York Democrat party mayoral primary. This matters because the greatest likelihood is that whoever wins the Democrat primary will be New York City’s next mayor. The chances of a Republican winning, after all, are slim.

Before I complete the first sentence of this article, I'm confident that most if not all who read it can agree on at least one thing: The United Nations — the UN Human Rights Council, in particular —has not only disproportionately condemned Israel, for decades; it has also been inherently adversarial to the United States with respect to many U.S. positions and initiatives, for decades.
That said, it comes as zero surprise that United Nations Secretary General António Guterres has condemned President Donald Trump's attack on Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend, while saying zero about the radical Islamists intentionally targeting Israeli civilian areas, including a civilian hospital.

In a precautionary move, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz placed all state authorities on heightened alert in the event that Iran retaliates following the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities on Saturday night. "Following the President’s decision to bomb nuclear facilities in Iran, I’ve directed our public safety teams to be on heightened alert for potential threats to Minnesota," Walz announced. "While there’s no known threats at this time, we’ll continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly." The LA County Sheriff’s Department has deleted a social media post calling the US airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities “tragic” after being dragged online.
“Our hearts go out to the victims and families impacted by the recent bombings in Iran,” the department wrote on X Sunday in a now-deleted post.
“While this tragic event happened overseas, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is closely monitoring the situation alongside our local, state and federal partners.”
The post sparked immediate outrage and was allegedly updated to exclude the part sending condolences to “the victims and families” and calling the US military airstrikes “tragic.”

Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough, a Harry Reid appointee with a selective interpretation of how the Byrd Rule can be applied to reconciliation bills, has been doing the bidding of the Democrats in ruling that major provisions of President Trump's "One Big, Beautiful Bill" are subject to the Byrd Rule and therefore are ineligible to be part of a reconciliation bill. That means that, according to MacDonough, those provisions have to go through the normal Senate process and need 60 votes for passage instead of a simple majority.
