It's the fifth night of the "peaceful" anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles, and the lawlessness is spreading throughout the country like, well, like wildfire. NBC reported that demonstrations were planned in cities like New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta on Tuesday, and it looks like some of them are beginning to resemble what's going on in Southern California. The clip, posted by Frontlines - TPUSA, shows the woman being blocked by protesters impeding traffic in New York City. You can see signs from some of the agitators reading "ICE" with a New York Yankees symbol and a fist. Mexican flags wave in the background.

These protests are conversion therapy for many Americans. It is changing them from Democrat and left leaning to at least independent or Republican by opening their eyes to what the Democrats and left truly value today: illegals and lawlessness. They are quickly driving people from their cause.

#3 and #4, my thoughts exactly. I suspect they would be shown to spring from the same social material as California's Governor and Lt. Governor (Gavin Newsom and Eleni Kounalakis), the idle and not too bright nepotic offspring of our dissipated coastal elites. Who else has time to block traffic on a workday morning?

Newsom Blames Trump for L.A. Insurrection 12 replies

Don't blame Gavin Newsom for the violent L.A. ICE "protests." He's only the governor of California presiding over the chaos he helped cause by running a proudly "sanctuary state"--forcing taxpayers to pay for all manner of support for illegal aliens—while presiding over open air drug use, "homelessness," and "insurrection." He's supported and endorsed the people running these protests (see my story nearby). Newsom would like you to believe, however, that it's President Donald Trump's fault that these bullhorn-spewing, pre-produced-sign-waving "protesters" have become violent. Indeed, these agents provocateur hope that the rabble take the bait and cause more pain. That’s Trump’s fault, naturally.

We've covered the insanity in Los Angeles over the past two days. But that's not the only place where anti-ICE radicals are getting out of hand. It was crazy in New York City on Saturday as well, where a mob of about 150 people tried to stop ICE outside of the U.S. Immigration Court. Things got violent there, and now the Trump administration has called out the National Guard to help quell the anti-ICE rioting that has been going on. California Gov. Gavin Newsom threw a tantrum over it. Meanwhile,

ABC News’ senior national correspondent Terry Moran has been suspended after going on a late-night screed against top White House adviser Stephen Miller along with President Trump on social media — drawing scathing backlash from the Trump administration. Moran, who landed an interview with the president in April, blasted Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy, as a man “richly endowed with the capacity for hatred.” “The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism. Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller,”

At least five people were arrested Saturday as a mob of nearly 100 protesters cursed at cops and tried to block federal authorities apparently conducting immigration raids in Lower Manhattan, according to police and video from the chaotic scene. The angry, masked demonstrators yelled “motherf–kers” at officers, sat in the roadway, threw objects and even themselves in front of an unmarked white van with tinted windows as it tried to leave 26 Federal Plaza, where the US Immigration Court is housed.

The leader of a brutal Palestinian jihadist group responsible for the kidnappings and cold-blooded murders of the Bibas family and an Israeli-American couple was killed in an Israeli airstrike, the military said Saturday. Asaad Abu Sharia, head of the Mujahideen Brigades, was taken out in a joint operation in Gaza City on Saturday by the Israeli Defense Forces and the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security agency, the groups announced in a statement posted on Telegram. During the war, the organization he led was involved in instigating terrorist attacks against Israel and fighting against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip,” the statement read.

Private companies can do whatever they want,” leftists once snorted in defense of companies like Facebook banning conservative speech. But now the tables have turned, and LGBTQ activists have found themselves in a state between panicked and sulky as their fair-weather friends in corporate America are pulling sponsorships of Pride celebrations this month. As a result, Pride events across the nation are facing budget shortfalls, and activists are blaming everyone but themselves. At least 14 companies — including Pepsi, Citi, MasterCard, Nissan, Garnier, and US defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corp. — have dropped or greatly scaled back their financial contributions to annual Pride events nationwide.

Zohran Mamdani couldn’t even pretend he supports Israel’s right to exist as actually Israel: Bad as everyone was on stage at the first Democratic mayoral debate, he disqualifies himself with that stance alone. And, incidentally, exposes anyone who endorses him as perfectly fine with promoting antisemitism. That includes not only Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who’s tried to distance herself a tad from her most viscerally antisemitic Squad-mates but still endorsed Mamdani the day after the debate, but also state Sen. John Liu, who announced his support even as he insisted they disagreed on Israel. Sorry, John: When Jews are being gunned down in our nation’s capital, and firebombed at a peaceful Boulder vigil,

Why do parts of the left and the media keep asking for sympathy in all the wrong places? In recent months we have had to put up with crazed activists like Taylor Lorenz claiming that Luigi Mangione is a “revolutionary” and a “morally good man” because she finds him “handsome.” Unfortunately he is also on trial for gunning down a father of two in cold blood on Sixth Avenue. In the eyes of many people that still counts against a man. And then there has been the bizarre defense of absolutely anybody who ICE has tried to deport.

When Chinese entities began to buy up farmland near remote but strategic American military installations here in the United States, there were some of us who raised the question, Why? Those who did so were criticized, described as paranoid, Sinophobic, and hostile to Chinese investment in America. We might want to revisit that criticism. Pentagon experts are looking with deep concern at the extraordinary damage done to Russia's strategic bomber force in the wake of Ukraine's recent surprise drone attack. Engaging in what is called asymmetric warfare, Ukraine used flatbed trucks, carrying shipping containers filled with cheap attack drones,

The message was never broadcast. Never printed. Never heard. And yet it remains one of the most remarkable documents of World War II—a plain slip of paper, scribbled in pencil, misdated “July 5,” and folded into a shirt pocket by a man shouldering the weight of freedom’s gamble. Had D-Day failed—had the beaches been bloodbaths without a breakthrough—General Dwight D. Eisenhower was prepared to take full responsibility. Not with a press conference or a military tribunal. But with a handwritten note accepting all blame. Not naming subordinates. Not mentioning the enemy. Not even attempting an explanation.

US Navy Secretary John Phelan has told the Senate the service needs the right to repair its own gear, and will rethink how it writes contracts to keep control of intellectual property and ensure sailors can fix hardware, especially in a fight. Phelan cited the case of the USS Gerald R. Ford, America's largest and most expensive nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, which carried a price tag of $13 billion. The ship was struggling to feed its crew of over 4,500 because six of its eight ovens were out of action, and sailors were barred by contract from fixing them themselves.

Musk deleted that post less than two days after making it. He also deleted a separate post that called for Trump’s impeachment.

There’s an old joke line that says, “Don’t confuse me with facts.” It’s also a leftist line of argument. I used to try to argue with a leftist about politics, but whenever I’d bring in facts to counter his theories, he’d storm out, furious that I was polluting the discussion with how the world actually works. Greta Thunberg is a leftist down to the marrow of her bones, so she, too, refuses to have her ideological purity tainted by the facts. There’s a plausible argument that the current spate of civil unrest in deep blue cities is actually a MAGA setup ultimately benefitting Donald J. Trump. Indeed, the “optics” resemble an over-the-top horror movie for the Democrats: giant Mexican flags brandished over burning car wrecks; chunks of cement dropped on police from freeway overpasses; uncontrolled looting; a curfew ignored; molotov cocktails thrown; childishly scrawled f-word graffiti, and vast arrays of mostly young but physically unattractive people. Where’s the mass appeal in that picture? Hollywood would reject a script like that as unbelievable and disgusting.
