Newsom Blames Trump for L.A. Insurrection

Original Article

Don't blame Gavin Newsom for the violent L.A. ICE "protests." He's only the governor of California presiding over the chaos he helped cause by running a proudly "sanctuary state"--forcing taxpayers to pay for all manner of support for illegal aliens—while presiding over open air drug use, "homelessness," and "insurrection." He's supported and endorsed the people running these protests (see my story nearby). Newsom would like you to believe, however, that it's President Donald Trump's fault that these bullhorn-spewing, pre-produced-sign-waving "protesters" have become violent. Indeed, these agents provocateur hope that the rabble take the bait and cause more pain. That’s Trump’s fault, naturally.

Newsom is on the side of the illegal aliens (Dem voters) burning his city down. They can burn it all down as far as I'm concerned.

Typical Democrat response. It is not my fault! Sure, Newsome, Mayor Bass, California (and other) Democrat Congressional representatives, local politicians, activistists, agitated and set up the conditions for the riots; but Newsom's inaction isn't his fault. It is Donald Trump's. By enforcing federal immigration law, Trump made this happen. Not the Democrats coddling of the illegal criminals who invaded the US and now wave their flags while rioting over removal of criminal illegals. California is ridiculous.

We've covered the insanity in Los Angeles over the past two days. But that's not the only place where anti-ICE radicals are getting out of hand. It was crazy in New York City on Saturday as well, where a mob of about 150 people tried to stop ICE outside of the U.S. Immigration Court. Things got violent there, and now the Trump administration has called out the National Guard to help quell the anti-ICE rioting that has been going on. California Gov. Gavin Newsom threw a tantrum over it. Meanwhile,

ABC News’ senior national correspondent Terry Moran has been suspended after going on a late-night screed against top White House adviser Stephen Miller along with President Trump on social media — drawing scathing backlash from the Trump administration. Moran, who landed an interview with the president in April, blasted Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy, as a man “richly endowed with the capacity for hatred.” “The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism. Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that’s not what’s interesting about Miller,”

At least five people were arrested Saturday as a mob of nearly 100 protesters cursed at cops and tried to block federal authorities apparently conducting immigration raids in Lower Manhattan, according to police and video from the chaotic scene. The angry, masked demonstrators yelled “motherf–kers” at officers, sat in the roadway, threw objects and even themselves in front of an unmarked white van with tinted windows as it tried to leave 26 Federal Plaza, where the US Immigration Court is housed.

And, incidentally, exposes anyone who endorses him as perfectly fine with promoting antisemitism. That includes not only Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who’s tried to distance herself a tad from her most viscerally antisemitic Squad-mates but still endorsed Mamdani the day after the debate, but also state Sen. John Liu, who announced his support even as he insisted they disagreed on Israel. Sorry, John: When Jews are being gunned down in our nation’s capital, and firebombed at a peaceful Boulder vigil,

Why do parts of the left and the media keep asking for sympathy in all the wrong places? In recent months we have had to put up with crazed activists like Taylor Lorenz claiming that Luigi Mangione is a “revolutionary” and a “morally good man” because she finds him “handsome.” Unfortunately he is also on trial for gunning down a father of two in cold blood on Sixth Avenue. In the eyes of many people that still counts against a man. And then there has been the bizarre defense of absolutely anybody who ICE has tried to deport.

The message was never broadcast. Never printed. Never heard. And yet it remains one of the most remarkable documents of World War II—a plain slip of paper, scribbled in pencil, misdated “July 5,” and folded into a shirt pocket by a man shouldering the weight of freedom’s gamble. Had D-Day failed—had the beaches been bloodbaths without a breakthrough—General Dwight D. Eisenhower was prepared to take full responsibility. Not with a press conference or a military tribunal. But with a handwritten note accepting all blame. Not naming subordinates. Not mentioning the enemy. Not even attempting an explanation.

Thousands of anti-ICE rioters descended on a major freeway in downtown Los Angeles Sunday evening, blocking traffic in both directions, while rioters downtown set off fireworks and torched several self-driving cars. Police officers were eventually able to force the mob down an exit ramp, restoring the free flow of traffic on the 101 Freeway, but Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell admitted that his officers were “overwhelmed” by the scale of the riots, which have continued for four consecutive days in Los Angeles. “We are overwhelmed,” McDonnell said in a Sunday night press conference. “Tonight, we had individuals out there shooting commercial-grade fireworks at our officers. Democrats are trying to make “TACO” — or “Trump always chickens out”— a new political slogan to get under the president’s skin. But it is not as clever a quip as they think it is, and it creates a perverse incentive for Trump to push the red buttons they don’t want him to push. (snip) it is straightforwardly wrongheaded as a political slogan. Why on Earth would Democrats dare Trump to follow through on his most extreme tariff threats? If this slogan were to really work, (snip)it would nudge him and his allies to cling more tightly to the most extreme versions of Trump’s bad economic policies.

LOS ANGELES — California Gov.
