Karen Bass May Have Had a Little

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass issued a wild statement on Friday in the wake of the start of the anti-ICE rioting in her city, saying "We will not stand for this." She didn't mean they wouldn't stand for the riots or obstructing law enforcement, she meant they wouldn't stand for the ICE actions. This morning, we received reports of federal immigration enforcement actions in multiple locations in Los Angeles. As Mayor of a proud city of immigrants, who contribute to our city in so many ways, I am deeply angered by what has taken place. These tactics sow terror in our communities

These riots should make it easier for ICE to pick up illegal aliens. And Karen, bless your little heart. You FA, and now you’re FO.

It is not possible for Los Angeles, the Armpit of America, to host the Olympic Games. Karen Bass let Pacific Palisades, Altadena, and Malibu burn to ashes, together with her two top Lesbian Fire Chiefs. I was there, no firefighters ever sprinkled a drop of water and all our homes were gone in the J7 Los Angeles DEI Holocaust.

"Everyone has the right to peacefully protest, but let me be clear: violence and destruction are unacceptable, and those responsible will be held accountable." Doesn't she mean violence and destruction up to a certain amount are unacceptable since you can loot/steal/pilfer/rob in parts of California up to a certain amount with no consequences? She's not exactly expressing a change of heart; it's more like a change in double speak. These people are to be despised. Now you see why the left advances women, people of color, stupid Tims, the alphabets; it's so they can put the more foolish among them out front believing we (the sane and reasonable people) believe they can't be criticized.

This leering communist jack o'lantern with her permanent smirk has no heart. Or principles. Or intelligence. She's a coatholder, a backbencher elevated way above her meager abilities. KJP plus 40 years. Fires may be exacerbated by incompetence but they can be blamed on nature. Giving it the big 'un against federal immigration enforcement is strictly a choice and of course she's making the wrong one. Until she realizes it may affect her personally.

This is what happens when you have in charge who are totally about the perks of large salaries instead of giving a crap about the citizens they are obligated to serve and protect. As Bass is putting out written statements, is she putting out one policy regarding the arrest of illegal aliens in the Spanish language statements and another policy in the English language version? Remember the leftist and progressive Democrats do not want the Federal Immigration Laws to be effectively enforced resulting in illegal aliens being deported, instead they intend to implement politically partisan policies to transition tens of millions of illegal aliens into US citizenship, and to further transition them into becoming future leftist and progressive Democrat supporters and as they say “New American” voters! That’s why the Democrats have been supporting mass uncontrolled and unlimited illegal immigration into the USA and have been doing everything possible to keep the illegal aliens in the USA.

ICE is there to uphold Federal Law and this creature’s feeble liberal opinions are irrelevant. She and Newsom both sat back and gleefully let this happen and Trump just wiped the smirks off their faces. If she’s so passionate about protecting illegal aliens and criminals let her put herself out there in the line of fire. There are a few tanks out there that would happily roll over her.

Thousands of anti-ICE rioters descended on a major freeway in downtown Los Angeles Sunday evening, blocking traffic in both directions, while rioters downtown set off fireworks and torched several self-driving cars. Police officers were eventually able to force the mob down an exit ramp, restoring the free flow of traffic on the 101 Freeway, but Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell admitted that his officers were “overwhelmed” by the scale of the riots, which have continued for four consecutive days in Los Angeles. “We are overwhelmed,” McDonnell said in a Sunday night press conference. “Tonight, we had individuals out there shooting commercial-grade fireworks at our officers. That can kill you.”

CNN was claiming not too many hours ago the situation in Los Angeles was "mostly peaceful." That was nonsense. But it's has to be bad when even CNN acknowledges that things have "taken a turn" and there's a problem. Now, they're no longer just calling them "protests," but "incursions" and "violent." They're still trying to give some of the leftists a pass as "peaceful," while acknowledging there are violent ones. They also note the anarchists and the pro-"Palestinian" radicals who are in this crowd as well. What they don't say is that the anarchists are a part of most radical leftist protests. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Five years ago, America lit the match. This summer, we may finally learn what it looks like when someone actually puts the fire out. The riots of 2020 weren’t just lawless; they were sanctioned. Police precincts were torched. Businesses razed. Federal courthouses turned into war zones. It was a nationwide spectacle of surrender, not by the people, but by the leaders who were supposed to stand between civilization and collapse. Minneapolis, Portland, and Seattle all fell victim not just to angry mobs but to their own governors and mayors, too cowardly to stop them.

The Democratic Party is spending $20 million to learn how to reach young men. Here’s Ilyse Hogue, the co-founder of “Speaking with American Men,” explaining the problem: “Democrats are seen as weak, whereas Republicans are seen as strong,” Hogue said. “Young men also spoke of being invisible to the Democratic coalition, and so you’ve got this weak problem and then you’ve got this, ‘I don’t think they care about me’ problem, and I think the combination is kind of a killer.” Ah, I see. Democrats want to rebrand themselves as being strong and powerful.

The left threw violent anti-immigration protests in seven different areas of Los Angeles beginning on Friday, and you’ll never guess who paid for it. If you guessed "you," you are right. Not only are taxpayers paying for the initial ICE raids, which netted 44 illegal aliens, but we’re paying for the police, sheriff's deputies, enhanced California Highway Patrol, and the federal response to the violent protests against the ICE raids, too. But that's only the half of it. Most Americans are only too willing to pay for law enforcement, but it turns out that you’re also paying for the L.A. immigration protesters,

It's getting wild in California. California Gov. Gavin Newsom should have called out the National Guard himself to deal with the riots now ongoing around the Los Angeles area. But he didn't. And it's getting crazy, with federal law enforcement assaulted, even cars set on fire as people wave foreign flags. Fox News reporter Bill Melugin even shared video that someone took in one of the CBP vehicles that was attacked; a Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agent was injured in the melee. So, now Border Czar Tom Homan says they are bringing in the Guard in response. Newsom is throwing a tantrum on X over the reported action.

Democrats are trying to make “TACO” — or “Trump always chickens out”— a new political slogan to get under the president’s skin. But it is not as clever a quip as they think it is, and it creates a perverse incentive for Trump to push the red buttons they don’t want him to push. (snip) it is straightforwardly wrongheaded as a political slogan. Why on Earth would Democrats dare Trump to follow through on his most extreme tariff threats? If this slogan were to really work, (snip)it would nudge him and his allies to cling more tightly to the most extreme versions of Trump’s bad economic policies.

William Sullivan’s essay regarding scientific atheism is intriguing and enlightening. It got me thinking about a very simple proof for a Creator. The atheist loves to proclaim, “There is no scientific proof of the existence of God!” This is true, since by “scientific” proof, the atheist means “empirical” proof, and there is no empirical proof of anything. However, it is quite easy to use logic to prove in easy steps that God exists and that He is the God of the Bible. 1. Every existing thing either is or is not existentially dependent upon the action of other beings. Those beings that are existentially dependent are called “contingent.” A being that is not
