Comedian Kathy Griffin said Thursday on the “Don Lemon Show” that she did not believe President Donald Trump won freely and fairly in the 2o24 presidential election.
Griffin asked, “Are you ready for a tin-foil hat moment?”
Lemon said, “Yes.”
Griffin said, “I am just going to be bold and say this. You know, you can take issue with this all you want. I do not think he won in a free and fair election. How do you like that, lefties? Yeah, I said it. I’m Kathy Griffin, and I do not think Trump won in a free and fair election. I believe there was tampering.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California lawmakers this week advanced several efforts aimed at reining in utility profits and slashing electricity bills as part of their agenda to tackle the sky-high costs of living. The proposals would make sweeping changes to how utilities fund expensive infrastructure projects like putting power lines underground to guard against wildfires. They also would add more oversight around wildfire mitigation spending and put new requirements on utility requests to increase rates. Supporters said the goal is to make the big investor-owned utilities start sharing some of the costs to fight wildfires and build new transmission infrastructure. “This

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass issued a wild statement on Friday in the wake of the start of the anti-ICE rioting in her city, saying "We will not stand for this." She didn't mean they wouldn't stand for the riots or obstructing law enforcement, she meant they wouldn't stand for the ICE actions. This morning, we received reports of federal immigration enforcement actions in multiple locations in Los Angeles. As Mayor of a proud city of immigrants, who contribute to our city in so many ways, I am deeply angered by what has taken place. These tactics sow terror in our communities

Elon Musk is First Buddy no longer.
The epic bromance between Musk and President Donald Trump, between the richest man on the planet and the most powerful one, has come to an end, not with a bang but with a tweet: Just days after Trump granted Musk a golden key in an Oval Office send-off from his role as head of DOGE and adviser to the White House, Musk unleashed on the president’s Big Beautiful Bill: “I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore,” he wrote on his social media platform, X. “This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.

Olympic gymnastics icon Simone Biles called out former National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) swimmer Riley Gaines for her vocal opposition to allowing males who identify as females to compete in women’s sports.
Gaines shared a comment regarding Champlin Park’s Class AAAA Softball State Champion for 2025, with a clear implication that the star player was male.(Snip)Biles responded and said that this perspective fosters division and harms the transgender community, with some calling it a form of “bullying” instead of supporting inclusivity.

William Sullivan’s essay regarding scientific atheism is intriguing and enlightening. It got me thinking about a very simple proof for a Creator.
The atheist loves to proclaim, “There is no scientific proof of the existence of God!” This is true, since by “scientific” proof, the atheist means “empirical” proof, and there is no empirical proof of anything.
However, it is quite easy to use logic to prove in easy steps that God exists and that He is the God of the Bible.
1. Every existing thing either is or is not existentially dependent upon the action of other beings. Those beings that are existentially dependent are called “contingent.” A being that is not

It's getting wild in California.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom should have called out the National Guard himself to deal with the riots now ongoing around the Los Angeles area. But he didn't. And it's getting crazy, with federal law enforcement assaulted, even cars set on fire as people wave foreign flags.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin even shared video that someone took in one of the CBP vehicles that was attacked; a Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agent was injured in the melee. So, now Border Czar Tom Homan says they are bringing in the Guard in response. Newsom is throwing a tantrum on X over the reported action.

Far-left Rep. Pramila Jayapal has begun proudly hosting “shadow hearings” about the deportation of alleged illegal alien gang bangers.
Titled “Kidnapped and Disappeared: Trump’s Lawless Third Country Disappearances,” the first hearing was held Friday: [Tweet, video]
“Since taking office in January, President Trump has shown nothing but utter contempt for the Constitution,” Jayapal said in a statement. “He has ignored and decimated the traditional role of Congress and defied and defamed the courts, doing untold damage to our democracy.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) carried out operations at businesses across Los Angeles on Friday, sparking protests and clashes outside at least one location, which resulted in authorities throwing flash bangs in an effort to disperse the crowd.
The Associated Press reported that immigration advocates confirmed nearly 45 people were arrested across seven locations. The locations included two Home Depot stores, a store in the fashion district and a doughnut shop, according to Angelica Salas, the executive director of the Coalition of Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), who spoke at an afternoon news conference to denounce the actions.

Los Angeles has been embroiled in anti-ICE riots for the last couple of days.
We've been reporting on a lot of the violence, including assailing a federal detention facility, hurling rocks at agents in cars, blocking their vehicles, damaging property, and even setting vehicles on fire while waving a foreign flag.
Yet what you got from the local officials was failed action. The first statement from Mayor Bass on Friday was encouraging the bad actors. DHS said their building was surrounded, and it took the police two hours to respond to their calls.

Private companies can do whatever they want,” leftists once snorted in defense of companies like Facebook banning conservative speech.
But now the tables have turned, and LGBTQ activists have found themselves in a state between panicked and sulky as their fair-weather friends in corporate America are pulling sponsorships of Pride celebrations this month.
As a result, Pride events across the nation are facing budget shortfalls, and activists are blaming everyone but themselves. At least 14 companies — including Pepsi, Citi, MasterCard, Nissan, Garnier, and US defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corp. — have dropped or greatly scaled back their financial contributions to annual Pride events nationwide.
