Brussels: The Muddy Mirror of a Europe
in Crisis

Brussels, the self-proclaimed capital of the European Union, is no longer the beacon of a united Europe, but an advanced symptom of its disintegration. The normalization of radical Islamic and anti-Semitic discourse we are witnessing in Brussels is the result of 15 years of leaders abrogating their responsibility. Brussels, through its inability -- or unwillingness -- to make unpleasant but necessary choices, is setting itself up as the first potential locus of protracted European unrest. The Islamist Team Fouad Ahidar party embodies a new situation: a political Islam that no longer hides its identity. Instead, it advocates that a religious identity be the underpinning of national cohesion.

More and more, I am beginning to realize that too many Europeans are blood thirsty warmongers. They are barbarians. Too many Americans have died for their incessant insanity. Too many American dollars have been wasted on sustaining their addiction to war. It’s no wonder that my grandparents fled in the 1890s. My grandfather would have been consumed in ThE Great War defending the Empire of the Czar from Czar’s and the Czarina’s empires if their cousins. Fortunately, my father was too young for WW1, too old for combat in WW2 and designated as a home front M.D. EU leaders today are privileged cowards just like pathetic kings, queens and czars of the past.

10 years ago, large portions of Brussels were labeled 'No-Go' zones for Americans. I shudder to think how much of the city falls into that category now...

Islamists doing what they have always done for over 1000 years? Weird, weird.... When they're a tiny minority in a larger population they have always played nice and fit in. As their population grows they become more aggressive until they feel safe through numbers being actively and directly hostile to the host/victim culture and push to take over entirely. First it's political then direct violence. Always been this way, everywhere they go. Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it. Islam is a virus.

This is what happens when you fail to teach history. Most Europeans probably don't know about what Charles Martel or King John III Sobieski did.

We'll have a good laugh at ourselves for worrying about Iran making their own nukes. After muslims gain national government control of England and France they'll be able to get their hands on ready-made nukes. Heck. If they want to, they can just sell Iran 1 or 2.

If yu let Muslims into your country, you will lose your country. Muslims are 7th century barbarians who want all the rest of us dead or enslaved.....it is their RELIGIOUS DUTY to accomplish this.

Ukrainian forces have wiped out dozens of Russian military aircraft, including nuclear bombers, in a massive drone attack on President Vladimir Putin’s air bases deep inside the country, Kyiv sources are claiming. The mission carried out by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) using first-person-view (FPV) drones hit 41 Russian heavy bombers at four separate airfields thousands of miles from Ukraine, a security source told the Kyiv Independent on Sunday. The drones were reportedly smuggled into the country hidden in trucks. TU-95 “Bear” nuclear bombers, TU-22 “Backfire” fast-attack strike bombers and A-50 “Mainstay” command-and-control jets were among the aircraft that were destroyed in the strike, according to reports.

Supporters of Paris Saint-Germain and violent opportunists set fires, vandalised shops, and clashed with police on Saturday evening in the French capital following to 5-0 victory Inter Milan in the European Cup. During the match, PSG supporters were seen carrying banners reading “Stop genocide in Gaza” and “Free Palestine”. The team may face fines as UEFA prohibits political messages from being displayed in stadiums. At the time of this reporting, at least 294 people have been arrested, however, this total is likely to continue to rise. Around 30 were arrested as a mob forced their way into a Foot Locker store on the Champs-Élysées.

Americans may not have as many rituals as some other peoples do, but we have some. One of those is graduation, symbolizing the transition from one stage of life to another and a celebration of a young person’s accomplishments. (We may actually overdo these, as what was once a transition from college and high school studies is now often celebrated from even pre-nursery school.) Still, it plays a significant part of life, structuring time and change. Parents and grandparents who sat through boring recitals, sports events, prize days, supported kids dealing with difficult interpersonal issues,

Man, it must be brutal being a Democrat right now, breathlessly waiting for the '28 presidential election so you can finally get Trump out of your head and get a good old progressive back in the Oval Office. The problem? The potential candidate list so far is laugh-out-loud pathetic, a sad list of mostly failed “leaders” who almost all carry mountains of political baggage around their necks. You’ve got to choose between the Queen of Emptiness and Word Salads, former Democrat presidential nominee and VP Kamala Harris, the walking meme that is NY Rep. In case you don't, he's the 13-year-old boy with terminal brain cancer who appeared as a guest of Donald and Melania Trump at the president's speech to a joint session of Congress in March. Daniel dreams of becoming a law enforcement officer when he grows up, but the reality is that he may not reach those dreams. On that night in March, President Trump and Secret Service director Sean Curran made him an honorary Secret Service agent. If you still don't remember, he's the little boy with terminal brain cancer whom Democrats refused to stand up and clap for during the speech,

Illinois’s Democrat governor, J.B. Pritzker, is about to sign a new bill into law that will allow illegal immigrants to become driving instructors. From Peoria’s NBC affiliate: A proposal that’s passed both chambers would allow some immigrants to become driving instructors in Illinois. In the state, non U.S. citizens can apply for a special drivers license called a Temporary Visitor Drivers License or TVDL. You might ask, “Where did that TVDL come from?” We’ve had a Democrat-controlled state legislature since 2003, and they currently have supermajorities in both chambers. Except for a single-term RINO governor in 2015–18, we’ve also had 100% Democrat governors since 2003.

On Friday, Joe Biden made his first public speech since news of his cancer diagnosis, and true to form, he made the moment about himself. Speaking at Veterans Memorial Park in New Castle, Del., Biden used the occasion not to focus on the brave men and women who gave their lives in combat but to relive personal memories and center the speech around his son Beau, who died of brain cancer, rather than in war. After making obligatory Memorial Day remarks, Biden shifted to talking about the “10th anniversary of the loss of my son Beau,” noting that he “spent a year in Iraq.”

A few Democratic officeholders, activists, and pundits are finally coming to their senses that their brand is toxic to a majority of the American people. The Biden administration killed what was left of it in a number of ways. First, it serially lied to Americans about the cognitive decline and cancerous condition of President Joe Biden, both while in and after office. Only when caught did the complicit media fess up that the Biden inner circle serially misled the American people about Biden's inability to fulfill the duties of the presidency. Second, left-wing politicos used Biden as a waxen effigy. His job was to pose as a "moderate"

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day” collided with deliberation day in the courts, and it did not go well. The Court of International Trade ruled that the President lacks the authority to impose his massive tariffs worldwide. But all is not lost for Trump’s tariffs. The three-judge panel held that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (IEEPA) does not give the president “such unbounded authority.” While some have criticized the court as a “judicial coup,” it is a well-reasoned and good-faith decision from judges appointed by Presidents Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, and Trump. While the court, in my view, should have issued a stay pending appeal,

Last week, unelected District Court Judge Brian Murphy told the Trump administration that it must bring back an illegal alien who was deported because, according to Murphy, the alien needs due process — and the Trump administration buckled. In court filings on Wednesday, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said it would bring back the illegal alien, designated by the initials O.C.G., after Murphy ruled that the administration “ignored” certain steps in the removal process. But Trump should buck rogue judges, not buckle to them.

In February, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem terminated Venezuela’s 2023 designation for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), a temporary immigration status granted when foreign nationals cannot return to their home countries because of safety concerns, such as ongoing armed conflict, environmental disasters, or epidemics. A TPS designation protects individuals from deportation and allows them to apply for authorization to work in the United States.

The non-partisan analysis factors in last minute changes to the House Republican version of the bill, including stricter Medicaid work requirements and a higher State and Local Tax Deduction (SALT), a top demand for New York lawmakers.
