On Monday night, the federal government hit Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.) with charges after she and fellow Democrats attempted to force their way into an ICE detention facility in Newark a couple of weeks ago. Predictably, House Democratic leadership issued a long-winded statement trying to downplay the incident, and it’s every bit as ridiculous as you’d expect. But the real story here is that the Trump administration offered McIver a plea deal, but she rejected it. “Well, the Justice Department and Alina Habba wanted me to admit to doing something that I did not do, and I was not going to do that, once again.

GOP Congresswoman Nancy Mace on Wednesday filed a resolution to expel Rep. LaMonica McIver after the Justice Department charged the Democrat with assaulting and impeding ICE agents.
Mace referenced the expulsion of GOP Rep. George Santos in her resolution.
“Mace’s resolution notes that the House has already set precedent for expelling Members charged, but not yet convicted, of serious criminal offenses, citing the expulsion of former Representative George Santos in 2023,” the press release said.
The White House called out “far-left activist” Massachusetts Judge Brian Murphy in a press release Wednesday after he ruled the administration cannot deport violent criminal aliens.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Biden-appointed US District Judge Brian Murphy said the Trump Administration violated his court order when it deported seven illegal aliens to South Sudan. He said they failed to provide the aliens with “meaningful” due process since they were being sent to “third-party” countries.
Murphy even suggested Trump Admin officials may have committed contempt for enforcing immigration policy.

Democrats are celebrating Omaha’s mayoral election win as proof that Republicans are out of step with America, when it’s really evidence how the nation’s cities have fallen out of step with America. There was a time when America’s cities were symbols of progress, but they have long since become sinkholes of decline, clinging to a handful of industries that employ a tiny fraction of their population as evidence of their relevance.
