Wendy McMahon has announced her resignation as the president and CEO of CBS News and Stations, the latest departure from the network amid the pending acquisition by Skydance. McMahon wrote to staffers, “Championing and supporting the journalism produced by the most amazing stations and bureaus in the world, celebrating the successes of our shows and our brands, elevating our stories and our people … It has been a privilege and joy. “At the same time, the past few months have been challenging. It’s become clear that the company and I do not agree on the path forward. It’s time for me to move on and for this organization to move forward

So she wants to continue her leftist lying and SeeBS is concerned it will go broke when the lawsuits hit it. Jeez, what to do? Of course the usual threat to democracy and end of independent journalism (if there ever was such a thing) are common themes in the article. with the back hand 'its all Trump's fault' theme tossed in . I'm sure her golden parachute is much better than the rest of us put together.

But poor baby Wendy can't freely lie anymore under cover of journalism, isn't that just a darn shame? Please do not use html code or replies will be deleted.

Another one bites the dust..... The MSM was always biased (think "Uncle Walter" Cronkite), but hid it better before Trump. Once Trump came along, they tore up the journalism rule book and quit even trying to appear unbiased. Now they're whining because they're being held accountable. I have no sympathy.

Paramount, with a $12 stock price, and a negative 20% profit margin, cannot afford any more of Wendy McMahon. I suspect that is the root of the disagreement.

Delightful to see the liars falling one by one. You have to wonder if the rest of them are EVER going to come to the realization that they are not in a Constitutionally recognized role to push their agenda. They are there to report information fairly and accurately. If they cannot, they have no value. THAT is what is happening to the propaganda media, people are seeing them as worthless and tuning them out. Unfortunately for them, they get paid through advertising and that is linked to viewership/readership and therefore declining as well. People like McMahon want to fight for things that are lies and they don't want to be held accountable for it. Trump (and others) are beating them up in court and costing the companies they work for more than what they are worth. McMahon refuses to change, she probably was told to change and keep her job or resign so she is going out with a whine. The problem the new owners will face is that their acquired company is packed with like minded people to McMahon. Are they going to fire all of them? Corporate media is dying from internal rot. I will be interesting to see what Skydance will be able to do about that.

The employees of these networks think their jobs exist only to provide for their own entertainment and give them a platform for their well known liberal ideologies. They are actually working for a Corporation with stockholders who expect to make a profit. Neither the employees or the networks will survive without it. CBS is one of the many on the brink. There are a lot of better choices.

The Supreme Court ordered the Maine House of Representatives on Tuesday to restore the vote of a Republican lawmaker who was censured after she wrote an online post defending fairness in women’s sports and criticizing the intrusion of a trans-identifying male athlete into female competition. Maine Representative Laurel Libby filed the emergency appeal to the Supreme Court while a lawsuit over the social media post plays out. In the post written earlier this year, Libby criticized a male high school athlete who won a girls’ track meet, and included in the post the male student’s name.

Federal regulators announced Tuesday a new regulatory policy for Covid-19 approvals designed to limit vaccine approvals to older Americans and those at serious risk from the virus. The FDA’s new policy will make seasonal Covid-19 vaccines available to the elderly and those with health conditions that put them at a greater risk of infection, but not for young adults and children who otherwise face little risk of suffering from debilitating Covid-19 symptoms. Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary and Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research director Dr. Vinay Prasad unveiled the policy in a new paper published by the New England Journal of Medicine.

But when asked at the Qatar Economic Forum if he will continue spending at that level in upcoming elections, Musk said he would not. "I think, in terms of political spending, I'm going to do a lot less in the future," Musk said. When asked why, he said, "I think I've done enough."

Dr. Samadi not only agreed with Dr. Ezekiel that it likely wasn't just discovered, but said the comment in Biden's cancer statement, about it being "hormone sensitive," proves the diagnosis can't be new.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Monday gave the Trump administration the green light to revoke special legal protections for thousands of Venezuelan immigrants, which could pave the way for them to be deported. The high court granted an emergency application filed by the administration, meaning officials can move forward with reversing a decision made at the tail end of the Biden administration to extend protections for more than 300,000 Venezuelans under the federal Temporary Protected Status program. The brief order noted that liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson would have denied the application. Litigation will now continue in lower courts.

On Sunday, news broke that former President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 and metastasis to the bone. The announcement, made by Biden’s office, detailed that the diagnosis followed the discovery of a prostate nodule after worsening urinary symptoms a week prior. While the statement emphasized that the cancer is hormone-sensitive, offering hope for effective management, the timing and context of this revelation raise serious questions about transparency and political motivations. The key question I have is this: Did Joe Biden’s inner circle know about this diagnosis last year?
