WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Monday gave the Trump administration the green light to revoke special legal protections for thousands of Venezuelan immigrants, which could pave the way for them to be deported.
The high court granted an emergency application filed by the administration, meaning officials can move forward with reversing a decision made at the tail end of the Biden administration to extend protections for more than 300,000 Venezuelans under the federal Temporary Protected Status program. The brief order noted that liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson would have denied the application. Litigation will now continue in lower courts.

The other day I posted an article on Merrick Garland the machinations that occurred so that the end result would he that known radical Katenji would end up on the Supreme court for life. Her votes are predictable. She is a cancer on the Court.

Re #1, and posted on LCom:
"Merrick Garland was not selected to be Joe Biden’s Attorney General because the crew in control of the events wanted Merrick Garland as Attorney General. Garland was removed from his position as DC Circuit Court Justice in order to make room for Ketanji Brown-Jackson to take Garland’s place, get Senate confirmed and then await the resignation of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Bryer. {GO DEEP}
As a standalone Supreme Court nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown-Jackson would have been a radical pick. Judge Brown-Jackson was a known activist in the DC District Court; however, by removing Garland as chief circuit justice and replacing him with KBJ, who needed Senate confirmation as chief circuit justice, she could get through a later Senate confirmation easier and then sit on the Supreme Court for thirty years. Garland was removed to make room for KBJ. It was a strategy.
Garland was a U.S. Attorney General in name only. The actual lead of the DOJ was from Obama’s crew, Deputy AG Lisa Monaco."

It going to take many years to deport all those Venezuelans who Biden, or the unnamed leftist and progressive Democrats who were actually running the White House when Biden was so cognitively deficient that he did not know which way was up allowed into the USA.
As the leftist and progressive Democrats have been pushing the political agenda that all aliens, especially Third World origin aliens who can be categorized as members of minority groups by way of Democrat identity politics, should have unlimited “due process” to appeal their individual cases up through both the administrative immigration courts, and then the criminal courts all the way to the US Supreme Court, a crazy process that the leftist and progressive Democrats know will jam up those courts indefinitely. I
In the long-term as Hillary Clinton recently talked about is flooding the USA with as many Third World origin aliens as possible both illegally and legally, the majority of who will be no doubt poor, unskilled, and dependent upon the leftist and progressive Democrats to survive in the USA, and have them produce as many babies as possible born in the USA, with the parents, their other children, and babies born in the USA considered to be members of either domestic or foreign origin minority groups. The long-term leftist and progressive Democrat agenda in that respect to eventually change the future racial and voter population demographics of the USA to that of a minority-majority country favoring the leftist and progressive Democrat political agenda thus keeping the leftist and progressive Democrats in permanent political power on into the future. Unfortunately the wimpy Republicans, scared to death of being called out as racists by the leftist and progressive Democrats, have not alerted the American people of those leftist and progressive agenda objectives, to permanently transition the USA into a one political party run socialist utopia!

From Post 2, “The actual lead of the DOJ was from Obama’s crew, Deputy AG Lisa Monaco.”
Right. And I’m convinced that Obama was in charge of almost all Biden White House operations. Susan Rice made no decisions, she just relayed orders from Barry. I also think Obama ran the Harris campaign, as there is no chance that profane hack Jen O’Malley Dillon had major power in the Harris campaign plus control of the $1.5 billion campaign fund. Obama told Dillon what to do and where to route the money.

It's a sad day in America when Executive Branch activities, clearly assigned to it, and only it, in the Constitution, must each be "approved" by 9 unelected Judges, sitting for life, on the Supreme Court. Is there something in the Constitution that requires a "magic decoder ring," that only lawyers get upon graduation, to understand? It seems to be pretty understandable to the average person.

It’s really constitutionally the US Congress that says what the US immigration and nationality laws will be. It follows that it is also the Congress that says what “due process” amounts to when aliens appear in the immigration courts under deportation proceeding.
In that respect if Congress wanted to, the Congress could pass legislation to the affect that “due process” for illegal aliens who last entered the USA, by sneaking across the borderline thus entering the USA unlawfully without being inspected and admitted to the country by a US Immigration Officer, commonly called entry without inspection (EWI), factors that relate to the vast majority of illegal aliens, amounts to an appearance before a specially trained immigration officer, known as a special inquiry officer, who has the power to determine the alienage and deportability of such illegal aliens. Once those two factors are established, that the respondent is an alien, and that he or she last entered the USA by unlawfully crossing the borderline without being inspected and admitted to the USA by an immigration officer (EWI) most illegal aliens could then be deported or allowed to leave the USA voluntarily without a formal order of deportation, with most such illegal aliens being returned across the borderline within 48 hours. The wimpy Republicans currently have majority control of the Congress, so why don’t they pass such a new immigration law to take care of the Democrat’s bogus “due process” situation?

this is insanely and outrageously unacceptable judicial over-reach.

The ones that came over years ago to escape the socialist dictatorship takeover, thanks to Jimmy Peanut declaring the bogus election their OK, and applied for legal status should remain. The ones that came here illegally, fleeing the Dictatorship that they helped create. must all go back.

It's getting harder and harder to figure out which "club" you're in. I know when I was growing up they used specific physical features to describe races. That's not really workable anymore. Neither is skin color. There are many dark skinned Indians who correctly check the White box when there's no Caucasian box. It's almost as if people are people are people. What's this world coming to? Ha! About time.

Congress should pass a law asap that only U.S. citizens be counted for the next census so that representation in Congress is only based on the number of legal citizens a State has. Count the illegals too , but put them in the "waiting deportation category." If that is done the Democrats will lose their love affair with illegals.

Ethel Merman on the Supreme Court is so predictable and the other females as well...wonder what God had in mind when He let this woke on the court....what lesson is there in her predictable rulings....that women should not be in positions of power...they think with their emotions...not their heads....they function only when they are guided by a strong male....and justice Roberts is no better...I don't know who owns him...

No. What the supreme court did was CONFIRM that lower courts can NOT disallow the President from taking such actions as HE sees fit.

KBJ was born in Washington, DC and her husband is a liberal white dude. Big Surprise, she is the first black woman on the Supreme Court and obviously received the position due to her DEI credentials. I hope the fine MAGA folks continue to hound her until she resigns and cries Raciss!
