MSNBC contributor Claire McCaskill said Monday on “Deadline” that American voters were “not smart enough” to keep President Donald Trump away from the presidency.
McCaskill said, “There’s a huge swath of Americans that don’t know about that because their algorithms are purposely not feeding them politics because they don’t want to hear about it. But you know what they’re all going to know about? They’re all going to know about higher prices. They’re all going to know that they’re spending more at Walmart than they spent this time last year. They’re all going to know that their 401Ks are down. They’re all going to know that.

Question: Does Claire realize that she is describing her own party to a 'T'?
Is it possible to gaslight oneself?

We were, however, smart enough to keep the word salad lady far from the levers of power. That's good enough for me.

Last summer, McCaskill, referring to VP Harris and Gov. Newsome, asked Rachel Maddow “How come the Democratic party does not have them at the top of the ticket, instead of using them to shore up some pretty glaring weaknesses in our president?”
The American people were way ahead of her, and smart enough to know better than to put Joe Biden back in the White House. That is why Democrats ended up throwing Biden out, and putting VP Harris at the top of the ticket. Why wasn't McCaskill smart enough to see what the American people saw? Biden was unfit for office due to advanced dementia before his 2020 run, Harris never couldn't think on her feet, and Tim Walz was even more awkward on stage than she was. It takes a special kind of arrogance to fault the American people for rejecting what the Democratic party tried to sneak past them.

I'm trying to remember -- Claire got in office to complete the term of her DH who died. Then she ran for the office and I think did not get elected. She can't seem to leave Washington for some reason. She had a husband at home who at one time was getting rich off the government with Section 8 apartments, my DH worked for him. I think they were borrowing the money to build the apartments, then renting them to the poor at outrageous prices, paying back the government the money the government loaned them.

The dems just cannot help themselves from continually lighting the Acme cigar. Their pathological need to demonize their opponents continues to marginalize them. The only thing that keeps them in office is vote fraud. Wouldn’t you love to meet the strategists who advise dems to keep insulting the majority of Americans?

Americans were certainly not smart enough to keep Claire McCaskill out of government. Missouri's not so secret shame. Gotta love our political class. They think they are better than everyone else which means they are entitled to everything. Go away Claire and take all your elitest friends with you.

McCaskill is a typical female Democrat: authoritarian, humorless, preachy.... and unattractive. Maybe the first three are a result of that last one.

And to think, the only reason this woman ever held elected office was because of a last-minute campaign push from the actor Michael J. Fox (of Alex P. Keaton and Marty McFly). Think about that next time you get the urge to binge watch the "Back to the Future" trilogy, and if a royalty payment might be involved, whether or not to follow through....
