About the 'Undocumented Grandmother' Facing Deportation

The Los Angeles Times is being called out for its headline on the “undocumented grandmother” who is facing deportation after a “wrong turn.” Ana Camero, who has been living in the United States illegally for 20 years, was driving home from work when she mistakenly drove into the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego. When the 64-year-old was asked for her identification, she had none, so immigration authorities were called. “It was just a wrong turn,” her daughter, Melissa Hernández, told news station Telemundo 20. Camero has lived in the United States for more than 20 years.

The odds are very great that the daughter is also an illegal. But she has an anchor baby. Deport the two mother and grandmother and they can take the baby if they want or put it up for adoption. I’m sick of all these illegals she probably wants to collect Social Security now if she’s been working and using a stolen Social Security number.

No, she made the wrong turn 20 years ago when she turned North. If she had no ID she also had no drivers license.

So she broke our laws coming here illegally 20 years ago and has been breaking our laws daily by driving without a license. Wonder if she has insurance on her vehicle.

Tell ya what else can have "severe consequences" driving without a license, no ID, residing in country illegally for 20 YEARS presumably harboring other illegals with her full consent and knowledge, nonpayment of taxes. Whose vehicle was she driving? If hers how do you get registration, plates and insurance without a valid drivers license and who paid the excise tax.

How many times do you think this person voted over the last 20 years? If she didn't have a driver's license it's doubtful she had insurance.

My butt Woukd be in jail if I had no drivers license. And I am a legal citizen of the USA. It’s the law. Obey it. Ole grandma has been breaking our laws over 20 years. Enough time for her to have corrected her illegal entrance into this country. I have ABSOLUTELY no sympathy for her. Deport.

From the article" "Ana Camero, who has been living in the United States illegally for 20 years, was driving home from work when she mistakenly drove into the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego." "Camero has lived in the United States for more than 20 years. Born in Mexico, she does not have a California driver’s license or any other form of identification, according to her family. A spokesperson for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed Camero is in custody and currently being processed for deportation back to Mexico." There are many more ILLEGAL INVADERS like her in California

So she is here illegally and has been taking a job from legal citizens for the last 20 years. Does she have a fake SSN? What other laws is she breaking? Doesn't matter. Send her home.

Here we go again: Left-wing outlets fear

The media is dialing up the doomsaying over the impact of President Donald J. Trump’s foreign tariffs and is going back to the well of perhaps the most successful fearmongering campaign of all time. According to one left-leaning mainstream outlet, the tariffs could lead to a repeat of the great national toilet paper shortage of 2020, when mass hysteria stoked by the media sparked a panic that drove Americans to hoard bathroom tissue, leaving stores with barren shelves and forcing retailers to impose rationing measures.

Marlee Senator John Kennedy and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem teamed up to expose Biden-era immigration policy. Former President Joe Biden’s lack of any real border authority resulted in massive numbers of illegal aliens and asylum seekers gaining access to the United States. Millions of Americans voted for stricter enforcement in 2024, but many are still wondering why the former president would allow a flood of humanity to come into the country. Kennedy and Noem dug deep into the issue, and the conclusion they came to should frighten all Americans:

One of the craziest stories of the year broke on Friday after a contingent of Democrat politicians stormed an ICE facility in New Jersey, supposedly in protest of President Donald Trump's immigration policies. But while they claimed to have done nothing wrong, the more evidence emerged, the more obvious it became that they were lying through their teeth. As RedState reported, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who was arrested on site, tried to play the victim on CNN. Video then emerged showing that he breached a checkpoint and refused to leave after multiple requests. The behavior of three Democrat congressional members was arguably even worse.

In what appears to be a political course-change for the ages, Alaska's own nominally Republican senior Senator, Princess Lisa Murkowski, suddenly seems to be speaking in approving tones of FBI Director Kash Patel, whose nomination she opposed. But that approval seems to be limited to a few issues, although they are serious issues. During a Senate committee hearing this week, Murkowski engaged in a substantive exchange with Director Patel, focusing on the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls crisis and Alaska’s worsening fentanyl epidemic. “This is a week that a lot of Alaskans are paying attention to,” Murkowski began,

Day one of the critical trade talks between the United States and China in Switzerland is over. Progress has been made, though some in the media seem to be cheering for a total collapse of these negotiations. Politico especially is insufferable, with the headline “the US-China trade meeting’s low bar: Progress.” That’s a good thing, you guys. The real low bar is no one walking out and an ending the talks on the first day: [Tweets] President Donald Trump signaled Friday that his soaring tariffs on China may soon begin to drop. That doesn’t mean the two countries are close to a deal.

No one is above the law. The Mayor of Newark was arrested for criminal trespass on Friday after storming an ICE detention facility. Mayor Ras Baraka joined members of Congress to inspect the Delaney Hall detention facility in New Jersey when all hell broke loose. In February, ICE announced it was expanding detention capacity with the Delaney Hall facility. “This detention center is the first to open under the new administration,” said acting ICE Director Caleb Vitello in February. “The location near an international airport streamlines logistics, and helps facilitate the timely processing of individuals in our custody as we pursue President Trump’s mandate to arrest, detain and remove illegal aliens from our communities.”

The Catholic Church has issued a warning to its clergy in Washington state: Any priest who complies with a new law requiring the reporting of child abuse confessions to authorities will be excommunicated. The new law, which will take effect on July 27, eliminates the long-standing confidentiality of the confessional, forcing Catholic leaders and lawmakers into a highly charged standoff over religious liberty and child protection. However, the Archdiocese of Seattle and several bishops argue that the law not only contravenes church doctrine but crosses constitutional lines, while supporters maintain it is a crucial step to protect minors from abuse.

That’s what happened on Wednesday, when Chief Justice John Roberts took it upon himself to subtly thumb his nose at President Trump and conservatives (snip) … the judiciary is a co-equal branch of government, separate from the others, with the authority to interpret the Constitution as law and strike down, obviously, acts of Congress or acts of the president. That innovation doesn’t work if … the judiciary’s not independent. Its job is to, obviously, decide cases, but in the course of that, check the excesses
