Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) claimed on Saturday on CNN’s “Newsroom” that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials would use “manufactured” footage to make it appear as though law enforcement agents were body slammed during the arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka at the Delaney Hall Detention Center last week.
Watson Coleman said, “We were there for a tour. ICE was giving us the runaround. We finally got into a facility. We heard some noise. We came out, we found that the mayor was there and they were an ICE was having conversations with him. They asked him to leave the facility. He left the facility.”

Representative LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she did not body slam anyone during the arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka at the Delaney Hall Detention Center last week.
Host Dana Bash said, “I want to go back to some of the footage we were looking at, at some, and I want our viewers to see that you are the woman in the red blazer as we show them, DHS says that obviously that there were chaos, that maybe you were trespassing. You can talk about that. But DHS also says that, in their words, you were body slamming an ICE officer.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers teamed up with other federal agencies to arrest an alleged hitman wanted in Venezuela for at least four contract killings. Officers and agents took the Biden-era Venezuelan illegal alien into custody in Grapevine, Texas, on May 2, according to a statement by the agency.
“This fugitive stands accused of some horrific crimes, further representing a threat in the communities of Texas that we will not tolerate,” said ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Dallas acting Field Office Director Josh Johnson. “ICE Dallas will never relent in our priority of enhancing public safety and arresting and removing criminal alien threats from our streets."

Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy has had his hands full since assuming the role in late January. A series of recent outages and glitches, particularly at Newark Liberty International Airport, has invited added scrutiny and speculation as to the state of air travel and safety in the U.S.
Duffy joined Kristen Welker on NBC News' "Meet the Press" Sunday morning to address some of the questions swirling about the ongoing issues and what is being done about them.
Duffy acknowledged and emphasized one of the key issues, that being the age of much of the equipment involved.

It turns out that Secretary Treasury Scott Bessent was more than hinting at being close to striking a deal with China during trade talks in Switzerland, as my colleague Bob Hoge reported. The White House sent out a press release Sunday afternoon announcing a "China Trade Deal in Geneva." [Tweet]
According to Bessent, we'll get the details on Monday morning.
“I'm happy to report that we made substantial progress between the United States and China in the very important trade talks. First, I want to thank our Swiss host. The Swiss government has been very kind in providing us this wonderful venue,

In this episode of Al Sharpton: Race-Hustler Extraordinaire"...
First, the facts:
In January 2025, President Cyril Ramaphosa signed South Africa’s Expropriation Act 13 of 2024. It allows expropriation (seizure) of land without compensation. The law mandates “just and equitable” compensation in most cases, with judicial oversight for disputes.
Ahh, "equitable." As we've learned all too well, for the Democrat Party, "equity" — along with "inclusion" — doesn't mean to the left what it means to the rest of us, or what it means in the dictionary.
In the wake of South Africa's Expropriation Act, the Trump administration announced plans to bring more than 50 white Afrikaners to the United States, starting on Monday,

This Mother’s Day, let’s do more than brunch and bouquets. Let’s salute the women who are literally shaping the future of America, both inside their homes and from inside the walls of our nation’s highest offices. And nowhere is that more clear than in the 2025 executive branch of the Trump administration.
While the press may focus on headlines, I want to focus on heroes—the unsung ones—the mothers. The women who get up early to prepare for Cabinet meetings and stay up late helping with homework. The women who shape public policy with one hand and stir mac and cheese with the other.

The media is dialing up the doomsaying over the impact of President Donald J. Trump’s foreign tariffs and is going back to the well of perhaps the most successful fearmongering campaign of all time.
According to one left-leaning mainstream outlet, the tariffs could lead to a repeat of the great national toilet paper shortage of 2020, when mass hysteria stoked by the media sparked a panic that drove Americans to hoard bathroom tissue, leaving stores with barren shelves and forcing retailers to impose rationing measures.

Senator John Kennedy and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem teamed up to expose Biden-era immigration policy. Former President Joe Biden’s lack of any real border authority resulted in massive numbers of illegal aliens and asylum seekers gaining access to the United States. Millions of Americans voted for stricter enforcement in 2024, but many are still wondering why the former president would allow a flood of humanity to come into the country. Kennedy and Noem dug deep into the issue, and the conclusion they came to should frighten all Americans:

President Donald Trump has appointed Ed Martin as the head of the newly formed Justice Department Weaponization Working Group — a move that has Democrats, NeverTrumpers, and deep state operatives sweating bullets.
“Ed Martin has done an AMAZING job as interim U.S. Attorney, and will be moving to the Department of Justice as the new Director of the Weaponization Working Group, Associate Deputy Attorney General, and Pardon Attorney,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“In these highly important roles, Ed will make sure we finally investigate the Weaponization of our Government under the Biden Regime, and provide much needed Justice for its victims. Congratulations Ed!”

One of the craziest stories of the year broke on Friday after a contingent of Democrat politicians stormed an ICE facility in New Jersey, supposedly in protest of President Donald Trump's immigration policies. But while they claimed to have done nothing wrong, the more evidence emerged, the more obvious it became that they were lying through their teeth.
As RedState reported, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, who was arrested on site, tried to play the victim on CNN. Video then emerged showing that he breached a checkpoint and refused to leave after multiple requests.
The behavior of three Democrat congressional members was arguably even worse.

In what appears to be a political course-change for the ages, Alaska's own nominally Republican senior Senator, Princess Lisa Murkowski, suddenly seems to be speaking in approving tones of FBI Director Kash Patel, whose nomination she opposed.
But that approval seems to be limited to a few issues, although they are serious issues.
During a Senate committee hearing this week, Murkowski engaged in a substantive exchange with Director Patel, focusing on the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls crisis and Alaska’s worsening fentanyl epidemic.
“This is a week that a lot of Alaskans are paying attention to,” Murkowski began,
