Conservative American writer David Horowitz lost his battle with cancer, passing away Monday at 86 years old, according to an announcement on his X account. In the mid-1990s, I briefly spoke with Mr. Horowitz after he gave a speech on the campus of a very liberal university. Not surprisingly, several angry liberals in the audience kept interrupting him. The university provided absolutely no security for the event.
