Tampon Tim Walz was unhappy on Sunday when confronted with the fact that one of the Democrats’ biggest unions has sided with Trump on tariffs.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the implementation of a 10% baseline tariff on all imports, effective April 5, 2025.
(Snip) Far-left CNN host Jake Tapper brought Walz on to discuss the impact that the tariffs have had on his home state. But during their discussion, Tapper dropped this mini-bombshell.
It turns out the United Auto Workers, a reliable Democrat ally, is bucking the party and going all in with President Trump.

Far-left “Face the Nation” Host Margaret Brennan, who infamously became a meme in January after getting humiliated by Vice-President JD Vance, face-planted once again on Sunday after trying to mock the Trump Administration on international trade.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the implementation of a 10% baseline tariff on all imports, effective April 5, 2025. The worst offenders will be hit with even tougher measures on April 9.
Speaking from the White House Rose Garden, President Trump proclaimed April 2 as “Liberation Day,” marking a new era of economic independence. He emphasized that this measure is essential to protect American jobs and revitalize domestic manufacturing.

In a bold move that champions both economic growth and practical forest management, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Friday that it will greenlight logging in America’s national forests. This decision, spearheaded by USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins, follows President Donald Trump’s executive order last month aimed at revitalizing the nation’s timber industry. For Americans, this is a long-overdue step toward restoring common-sense stewardship of our natural resources while bolstering rural economies battered by years of overregulation and neglect.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has suspended the senior Department of Justice attorney representing the administration in a high-visibility deportation case. Enez Reuveni, the acting deputy director of Justice’s immigration litigation division, was suspended from duty and had his email terminated in a letter from Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche accusing him of failing to “follow a directive from your superiors.” Reuveni is a 15-year veteran of the Department of Justice and was only promoted to acting deputy director of the immigration litigation division two weeks ago.
Accompanying Reuveni on vacation will be his boss, August Flentje, the acting director of the immigration litigation division,

A federal judge has doubled down on her seemingly unreasonable demand that the Trump administration return an illegal alien gang member to the United States. In a 22-page opinion filed at 1 a.m. Sunday, Obama-appointed Judge Paula Xinis reiterated her order that the Trump administration locate Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, an illegal from El Salvador who was deported in early March, saying the Trump administration’s “grievous error” “shocks the conscience.”
Abrego Garcia, a citizen of El Salvador, who is portrayed as a "Maryland father" in most news reports, entered the US illegally in 2011.

People can bellyache about Donald Trump’s tariff program. Do you have a better idea?
The last time the US had a trade surplus was 50 years ago. The statistics being presented by the Trump administration:
*$1 trillion world trade deficit last year
*90,000 factories have closed down over the past decades
*6 million factory jobs have disappeared
A while back, I had an opportunity to visit a friend in Cleveland. He is a brilliant scientist and has a couple of ventures in the city. When my business partner and I arrived at his office, I was stunned at what I saw. His office is in a former factory that made elevators.

It’s been a couple of weeks since the infamous “Signalgate” controversy erupted. Just as most Americans had moved on from this non-scandal, we have finally learned how Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor of The Atlantic, got into the encrypted group chat on Signal in the first place.
For sure, this story was overblown from the get-go. Goldberg clearly oversold the chat as containing classified war plans, though a review of the chat, which Goldberg eventually published, proved the chat to be a real nothingburger. That said, the mainstream media quickly pounced on the story, and Democrats used the incident as a pretext

The Justice Department filed an application for an emergency stay of an order requiring an adjudicated MS-13 member be brought back the United States that stopped within inches of calling the district court judge who issued the order a moron. In a tersely worded brief that demolished the entire proceeding, the Justice Department's brief ridiculed the order by Obama-appointed Judge Paula Xinis to “facilitate and effectuate” Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s return to the US by Monday night, saying: "Because the United States has no control over Abrego Garcia, however, Defendants have no independent authority to “effectuate” his return to the United States—any more than they would have the power

So China slapped the U.S. with a 25–34% tariff on select imports, and the headlines screamed “retaliation!” But let’s be honest: if this is what Beijing thinks passes for strong economic diplomacy, then we’ve got even more proof that the Chinese Communist Party is playing checkers while the U.S. is mastering 4D chess.
The truth is simple: China’s move is frail, desperate, and ultimately doomed to backfire.
For starters, China needs us far more than we need them—a reality the media elite won’t say out loud but that every business leader worth their calculator knows. The United States is the hottest, wealthiest consumer market on the planet. We innovate, we buy,

Since the horrific attacks of October 7, 2023, Hamas and its sympathizers at the United Nations and college campuses have lied to the world.
They have denied the truth that Hamas raped its prisoners, invented atrocities by Israeli forces, and denied Israel has the right to exist.
They also made up how many Gazans died.
We know this because Hamas admits it.
The murderous terror organization’s Ministry of Health has quietly reduced the number of civilian deaths that it has claimed were inflicted by Israeli forces.
In its March 2025 fatality list, 3,400 “victims” simply vanish. Previously listed as people who perished last August and October, it turns out Hamas invented them.

The now-famous female fencer who refused to compete against a man says that USA Fencing has become infested with pro-trans activism.
As an example of the league’s radicalism, fencer Stephanie Turner pointed to Damien Lehfeldt, a top USA Fencing Board of Directors official who’s ridiculously pro-trans and also allegedly a pervert (evidence below). [Tweet]
The guy is so pro-trans, according to the Daily Mail, that he wrote fake “anti-trans” emails to himself and then published his flamboyant responses to social media.
In one fake email, a fictional woman named “Dorothy” complained to him that “girls” were abandoning fencing as a sport

Fox Business Network financial journalist Charles Payne blasted the anti-Trump media for its biased coverage of tariffs, detailing the shortcomings of the current system that he insisted is “unsustainable.”
The host of Fox’s “Making Money with Charles Payne” reminded all that President Donald J. Trump is currently doing what he told voters he would do.
“President Trump ran on tariffs. What we just saw was a president who did what he said he was going to do,” Payne explained. “Every single day the media said Trump is running on tariffs, and people say we know that. Trump is running on bringing back manufacturing.

Excellent explanation.
