So China slapped the U.S. with a 25–34% tariff on select imports, and the headlines screamed “retaliation!” But let’s be honest: if this is what Beijing thinks passes for strong economic diplomacy, then we’ve got even more proof that the Chinese Communist Party is playing checkers while the U.S. is mastering 4D chess. The truth is simple: China’s move is frail, desperate, and ultimately doomed to backfire. For starters, China needs us far more than we need them—a reality the media elite won’t say out loud but that every business leader worth their calculator knows. The United States is the hottest, wealthiest consumer market on the planet. We innovate, we buy,

Without the US market, China would have nowhere to sell the bulk of its products and would go bust.

China's not our friend. One can make a case we should not be doing business with them at all. Besides exporting goods, they are exporting their Communist revolution.

China can put a 1000% tariff on U.S. goods sold in China if they want to, it won't hurt U.S. businesses simply because China bans U.S. products from coming into China.

Trump should just cancel our debt with China. Other countries cancel or refuse to pay back loans to the US, with no fallout. Or just start paying them back, $1 a year and no interest. 36 trillion years from now, we'll be debt free.

#6: I'm with you and hope PDJT eventually does this, but now is probably not the right time, because the bond markets would get spooked, sell-off, and drive up our borrowing costs even further. Better to wait until we've actually demonstrated progress on retiring and reducing the national debt, and perhaps most importantly when we have balanced the budget. Lowering the boom on China then will cause a minimal ripple, if any, in the bond markets. PDJT can just make an announcement that we're sending a bill to China for the costs of Covid, and it just happens to be equal to what we owe them... what a coincidence!

Tampon Tim Walz was unhappy on Sunday when confronted with the fact that one of the Democrats’ biggest unions has sided with Trump on tariffs. As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the implementation of a 10% baseline tariff on all imports, effective April 5, 2025. (Snip) Far-left CNN host Jake Tapper brought Walz on to discuss the impact that the tariffs have had on his home state. But during their discussion, Tapper dropped this mini-bombshell. It turns out the United Auto Workers, a reliable Democrat ally, is bucking the party and going all in with President Trump.

Far-left “Face the Nation” Host Margaret Brennan, who infamously became a meme in January after getting humiliated by Vice-President JD Vance, face-planted once again on Sunday after trying to mock the Trump Administration on international trade. As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the implementation of a 10% baseline tariff on all imports, effective April 5, 2025. The worst offenders will be hit with even tougher measures on April 9. Speaking from the White House Rose Garden, President Trump proclaimed April 2 as “Liberation Day,” marking a new era of economic independence. He emphasized that this measure is essential to protect American jobs and revitalize domestic manufacturing.

In a bold move that champions both economic growth and practical forest management, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Friday that it will greenlight logging in America’s national forests. This decision, spearheaded by USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins, follows President Donald Trump’s executive order last month aimed at revitalizing the nation’s timber industry. For Americans, this is a long-overdue step toward restoring common-sense stewardship of our natural resources while bolstering rural economies battered by years of overregulation and neglect.

A federal judge has doubled down on her seemingly unreasonable demand that the Trump administration return an illegal alien gang member to the United States. In a 22-page opinion filed at 1 a.m. Sunday, Obama-appointed Judge Paula Xinis reiterated her order that the Trump administration locate Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, an illegal from El Salvador who was deported in early March, saying the Trump administration’s “grievous error” “shocks the conscience.” Abrego Garcia, a citizen of El Salvador, who is portrayed as a "Maryland father" in most news reports, entered the US illegally in 2011.

It’s been a couple of weeks since the infamous “Signalgate” controversy erupted. Just as most Americans had moved on from this non-scandal, we have finally learned how Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor of The Atlantic, got into the encrypted group chat on Signal in the first place. For sure, this story was overblown from the get-go. Goldberg clearly oversold the chat as containing classified war plans, though a review of the chat, which Goldberg eventually published, proved the chat to be a real nothingburger. That said, the mainstream media quickly pounced on the story, and Democrats used the incident as a pretext

Since the horrific attacks of October 7, 2023, Hamas and its sympathizers at the United Nations and college campuses have lied to the world. They have denied the truth that Hamas raped its prisoners, invented atrocities by Israeli forces, and denied Israel has the right to exist. They also made up how many Gazans died. We know this because Hamas admits it. The murderous terror organization’s Ministry of Health has quietly reduced the number of civilian deaths that it has claimed were inflicted by Israeli forces. In its March 2025 fatality list, 3,400 “victims” simply vanish. Previously listed as people who perished last August and October, it turns out Hamas invented them.
