Australian universities are crying foul after the Trump administration asks questions that put $386 million in research grants in jeopardy. The bone of contention was a questionnaire sent to Australian grant recipients asking if the institution had "ties to communist or socialist parties, receive funding from China and it only recognises male and female sexes." The grants were frozen in January, shortly after President Trump was inaugurated, but were unfrozen at some time thereafter. This new round of questions is the second time the universities were queried, but this time, it has their attention.

The deep-red state of Florida has been, for some time, trying to return almost a billion dollars in federal funding to the federal government. Too many ideological strings attached, you see. According to Governor Ron DeSantis, the Biden administration (as should come as a surprise to no one who hasn't been living in a cave for the last four years) wasn't able to figure out how to accept the money back. A quick conversation between Governor DeSantis, Elon Musk, and the DOGE team fixed all that. (X) The X post reads in full:

The president of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix Tshisekedi, has reached out directly to President Donald J. Trump with a historic proposal: help defeat a brutal rebel force terrorizing his nation, and in return, America will gain direct access to one of the world’s richest untapped troves of critical minerals—worth an estimated $24 trillion.
According to a letter obtained by The Wall Street Journal, President Tshisekedi offered Trump exclusive mining opportunities through the newly launched U.S. Sovereign Wealth Fund, a Trump-led initiative aimed at reshaping global investment through pro-American partnerships.

Rep. Celeste Maloy (R-UT), an establishment Republican in the House that Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) warned voters about last cycle, is now unleashing on President Donald Trump by subscribing to leftist pablum that the United States is somehow off the rails and that the “executive branch” Trump oversees needs to be brought “under control.”
Maloy’s comments reportedly came during a town hall event in Salt Lake City, which she hosted with Rep. Mike Kennedy (R-UT), according to the Associated Press (AP). The congresswoman later claimed in a social media post that she does not think the U.S. is moving towards authoritarianism.

Tiger Woods reportedly gave his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, a heads up that he is dating Vanessa Trump.
The golf superstar called the mother of his two children around late December or early January and the two had an “awkward” but “civil” exchange, the Daily Mail reported Friday.
“It was a pleasant, almost friendly conversation,” an insider told the outlet. “Her response at first was like ‘Seriously? A Trump? For real?.” (Photos) The source added that Nordegren, 45, was “more amused than anything. But she really quickly just accepted it.”
The source claimed that Woods, 49, had told his ex-wife about his past girlfriends ever since they divorced in 2010

In a significant shift, Columbia University has agreed to implement policy changes in response to demands from the Trump administration, marking a victory for the president’s viewpoints within higher education. The changes, which address concerns over free speech and ideological diversity on campus, come after sustained pressure from the administration, signaling a growing influence of conservative values in academic policies. The move is expected to have broader implications for how universities balance political discourse and academic freedom.

President Donald Trump dropped a political bombshell on Friday, signing an executive order that yanks security clearances from some of the most notorious figures of the radical left.
The list reads like a who’s who of Trump-hating elitists and Deep State operatives like Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.
Trump once more listed Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and even Joe Biden, along with his entire corrupt family.
Trump’s order declares that these individuals no longer have any business sniffing around classified information.

President Donald Trump offered to pay the astronauts who were stranded in space out of his “own pocket” after learning they do not receive overtime pay.
During a press conference in the Oval Office Friday, Fox News’s Peter Doocy noted that the astronauts received approximately just $1,430 for the extra nine months they stayed in space, thanks to a measly $5 a day per diem. (X Video)
“They got $5 a day per diem for 286 days. That is $1,430 in extra pay. Is there anything the administration can do to… make them whole?” Doocy asked Trump.

WASHINGTON — President Trump reacted warmly Friday to a report that the US could be offered “associate membership” in the British Commonwealth.
“I Love King Charles. Sounds good to me!” the president wrote on Truth Social, linking to a report by the Sun that a proposal could be made by the monarch when Trump makes a state visit to the UK later this year.
The Commonwealth of Nations, established in 1926, has 56 member states, the vast majority of which are former colonies of the British Empire. (Photo) Among its members are Australia, Canada, India, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Africa.

The New York Times on Thursday published an article in which it claimed Tesla owner Elon Musk was scheduled to meet with the Pentagon to be briefed on a top-secret U.S. war plan for a potential conflict with China. President Donald Trump denied the report and lashed out at The Times for spreading misinformation.
Four officials reportedly told The New York Times about the meeting, which was scheduled to be held in the Tank, a secure room typically reserved for high-level military briefings. It would have included senior officials such as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other top military leaders.
