Donald Trump Offers to Personally Pay
Overtime to Rescued Astronauts

President Donald Trump offered to pay the astronauts who were stranded in space out of his “own pocket” after learning they do not receive overtime pay. During a press conference in the Oval Office Friday, Fox News’s Peter Doocy noted that the astronauts received approximately just $1,430 for the extra nine months they stayed in space, thanks to a measly $5 a day per diem. (X Video) “They got $5 a day per diem for 286 days. That is $1,430 in extra pay. Is there anything the administration can do to… make them whole?” Doocy asked Trump.

Back in 2016 when I first heard that Donald Trump was running for President, I was not on board. I will admit that I believed all of the gossip floating around about him. Then, I started coming across articles about who he is and I wanted to read more. Unfortunately, the negatives get out there first and fast. This article reflects his generosity and Elon Musk's generosity. What do we get to hear from mainstream media? Defiance. . .

What's an astronaut's time worth? Gross negligence and political moves kept them up there. I think a quarter mill apiece sounds about right. $1000/day, works out to less than $50/hr.

That money should come out of the Dem coffers, since they chose to leave them up there. Actually, Bidet and the Dr should pay it, but good luck with that. Plus, Bidet probably didn't even know they were up there.

Extraordinary circumstances should make it a moral obligation on the contractor to make up for the unanticipated. Funny how easy it was to toss those gold bricks willy nilly to the favored parasites, but the fine print and closed purse is applied to actual heroes.

We may well be witnessing the passing of a torch just now in the Democratic Party. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the former bartender from New York, and Bernie Sanders, the daffy old Bolshevik from Vermont, have been making some appearances together. We may well presume that the "daffy Bolshevik" torch is being handed off, from a failed carpenter to a failed bartender.Or, at least, we might have thought that, until Bernie appeared on ABC's "This Week" and, when asked if he thought AOC should run for the Senate, appeared about to storm out of the room, calling it a "nonsense question." Now why would he do that?

In just a few hours, U.S. officials will be holding talks with Ukraine, and tomorrow a separate round with Russia, in pursuit of a 30 day cease fire. Tesla owners can activate a security measure on their vehicles called "sentry mode," which can help deter or even bust threats in the wake of widespread vandalism targeting Elon Musk’s electric car company. Sentry mode, when enabled, keeps the cameras and sensors of the vehicle powered on and ready to record suspicious activity that happens nearby. "Think of Sentry Mode as an intelligent vehicle security system that alerts you when it detects possible threats nearby," according to the Tesla Model 3 owner’s manual.

Then-President Ronald Reagan was widely mocked by Democrats in 1983 when he proposed a “Star Wars”-like weapons system (the Strategic Defense Initiative aka SDI) designed to prevent the United States from attack. Many years later, some of the technology developed was incorporated into Israel’s famed “Iron Dome” defense systems—to great effect, as the weapons have been able to knock down countless missiles and projectiles lobbed into the Jewish state by its many enemies. Donald Trump took notice, and he wants such a system for the entire United States—the “Golden Dome”—and defense officials are preparing to show the president preliminary plans

History records this of the famous Nixon Watergate scandal. In the summer of 1972, as an American presidential election featuring incumbent Republican President Richard Nixon and Democrat Senator George McGovern swirled, two young, green Washington Post reporters, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein by name, learned of a break-in at Washington’s Watergate Hotel and office complex. A break-in at the offices of the Democratic National Committee. Neither was happy at their new assignment that had them looking into this. It was too much like the run-of-the-mill petty crimes each had already spent time investigating. Besides, the two had never worked together on a story before.

Australian universities are crying foul after the Trump administration asks questions that put $386 million in research grants in jeopardy. The grants were frozen in January, shortly after President Trump was inaugurated, but were unfrozen at some time thereafter. This new round of questions is the second time the universities were queried, but this time, it has their attention.
