Judge Overreaches Amid Latest Lawfare

The battlefield for the new lawfare against President Donald Trump was quickly shaped when, within hours of the president’s March 15 executive order deporting alleged Venezuelan gang members, ACLU lawyers sympathetic to their plight filed a habeas petition in the D.C. District Court. The ACLU is seeking to stop the executive branch from removing five plaintiffs. D.C. District Judge James Boasberg hastily took command and control over the latest iteration of lawfare, emergently agreeing to consider the case and issuing orders camouflaged in legitimacy. Judge Boasberg’s orders, actions, and reactions are laden with plain error.

I'm really only interested in reading about how Trump is ignoring illegal judges and doing what we elected him to do and congress impeaching them, not all this talk about their lawfare. We watched Trump go through lawfare personally for over four years; we're done; we're sick and tired.

Anybody who thinks CJ John Roberts will do anything about this isn't being realistic. Roberts is a tool for judicial activist judges and their masters in the Democrat Party. It would useful, however, for Congress to positively cramp the style of these District Court judges by enacting clarifying legislation that limits the scope of any of their rulings. Start with the *original* legislation that created the District Court system, and identify areas needing clarification. We shouldn't forget that for 150+ years, District Court judges understood that their rulings did not and could not apply nation-wide. It has only been since the Reagan era, when the first such ruling was issued, that the Executive Branch has been tolerating this judicial branch over-reach. End it now, Congress (that means you Speaker Johnson and leader Thune). This will provide relief to the current Executive. Beyond that, an Amendment to The Constitution would be handy, so that some future Congress run by nut-job Democrats can't repeal the reform.

I'm onboard with President Trump's way of handling this. It will be most difficult for the dems to overturn his work, if they ever get back in power. Taking shortcuts will just lead to a war of EOs.

Amid continuing distrust of the Chinese regime’s data on infectious diseases and vaccination deaths, anecdotal reports from residents and health care professionals across China suggest an unusual number of deaths among millennials this winter season. Beijing’s National Bureau of Statistics does not regularly publish data on mortality rates. Because of the regime’s record of publishing unreliable data, including its underreporting of COVID-19 infections in early 2020, analysts and the public often resort to relying on anecdotal evidence. In February, individuals working in China’s disease prevention and control sector told the Chinese edition of The Epoch Times that the regime is likely underreporting the recent COVID-19 and bird flu

He has given agency heads seven days to report compliance to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB)—or justify the continued existence of whichever functions still remain.
