Warren, Mich. — Bernie Sanders is standing alone on the back of a pickup truck shouting into a bullhorn.
He’s facing several hundred ecstatic voters huddled outside a suburban Detroit high school — the group that did not fit inside the high school’s gym or two overflow rooms. The crowd screams in delight when he tells them that a combined total of 9,000 people had shown up for the rally.
“What all of this tells me, is not just in Michigan or in Vermont, the people of this country will not allow us to move toward oligarchy. They will not allow Trump to take us into authoritarianism,” Sanders yelled.

What does the above even mean? What's the combined total about? Did they try to rally in the gym and overflow rooms and have to come outside because everyone didn't fit inside?
A significant number of Bernie voters came over to MAGA after you played them and sold out to the dems. Riddle us that, you old fool Bernie. You're not a resistance to President Trump. You're a resistance to above 70 percent of US who are done with the grift of our country. We're fighting against you taxpayer-made oligarchs. How much does your grift total, Bernie? Compare your little crowd to President Donald J. Trump. I thought you were a proud socialist/independent who caucused with dems; they obviously think you're just a silly dem. Go home and stop yelling, Bernie!
Oh, and for Carville, the menace, it's your party that always goes too far: Republicans never go far enough. So please do sit back and play dead, and let us get some real work done. Thanks.

It figures that an avowed Socialist would step in as de facto leader of the evil, America-hating Leftocrat party. MAGA

Trump is blessed with incompetent, ineffectual enemies.
Sanders is a spent force. He has one foot in the grave. Plagiarist Biden stole his entire platform and demonstrated - surprise - that it wrought economic disaster, trampled rights and fostered corruption.
Marxists warning of authoritarianism are always good for a laugh. Democrats warning that dismantling government means more government are simply insane.

9000? You've got to be kidding. Trump regularly drew 25-50,000. Guess what the media ran as the headline.

9,000 never Trumpers. Who even told them Bernie was going to be there.?
Musk should look into how a man who lived in a commune until he ran for Mayor---got the Mayors job and became rich in politics, without even hitting a lick of work. Where did all of Bernie's money come from?

The Dems are really in a bind for leadership. They have the geriatric group with name recognition; and the young pretty bar maids and foreigners with the ability to get cameras on them; and the corrupt and tainted middle age men. But no one with ideas for the future of the party.

That Bernie the commie rails against "authoritarianism" is laughable. I guess at 83 there's little chance that he'll ever get a real job.

Even though it is an AP story, I just had to look.... If there were 9,000 people there, why weren't the bleachers behind Sanders pulled out and filled? That would have doubled the amount of people who could fit in the gym, which is likely less than 1,000 total. They refer to the "over flow" crowd in the parking lot. Looks like maybe 20 people milling around. Why are the photos so tight? A panoramic one would give a much bettter feel for crowd size. Bottom line, I don't believe there was even close to 2,000 people there.

I wouldn't even say let alone write down the lyrics to the song the singer yelled out to the crowd. It was absolutely vile and proves that demonrats are vile and evil. Oh and the crowd cheered.

Fear mongering and gas lighting at high decibels. Sanders did not mention a solution to anything Trump is doing that could be fixed with leftist ideas. Bernie - whining while shouting is a silly look. USAid funds were most likely used to pay this moveable crowd for their time and transportation and its justification would be changing climate change and increasing castrations. It sounded as if Bernie was riffing on utopian ideals and gaslighting the gullible.

9,000 people is NOT a "huge crowd" When Trump pulls in 125,000 or 50,000.....9,000 is a small crowd.

The Democrats showed in 2024 that they could organize "rent-a-mob" crowds for Harris rallies on a few occasions. We later found out that the crowds were paid protesters, not grass-roots supporters. Considering that the UAW has a stranglehold on Michigan, it would not surprise me to discover that Sanders phoned the UAW and arranged for the mob to show up.
BTW, one other thing: Notice that the photo in the picture is significantly blurred. It may signify nothing, but when photos are "enhanced" by AI-assisted software, a crowd can often be made to appear much larger than it actually is. [Incoming Canadian PM Mark Carney used this form of legerdemain to make crowds appear much larger than they actually were during his recent run for Liberal Party leader in Canada.] So I would not buy this photo at face value unless and until I was able to see a lot of pictures of the same venue from multiple cell phone cameras.

The outright stupidity of he democratic voter is appalling. President Trump puts up 100 talking points about fraud and waste of taxpayer money and how we're going to save billions of taxpayer money. Laying out actual facts. Bernie Sanders gets up and talks to a few hundred illiterate democrats about democracy. Cannot talk about any actual facts, just hysterical talking points. This is the difference between the two parties. One lives in the real world, the other in a delusional bubble. Got it.

I remember back in 2003 Howard (The Scream) Dean was drawing large crowds. He was the odds-on favorite to win the Democrat Prez. nomination. When Dean collapsed they were left with Jenjis John Kerry - reporting for dooty.
